  1. Thanks, WIT! That was probably it... let's see when this post claims to show up :) Additional Comments: Yep... confirmed pebkac issue. Apologies for the noise, all!
  2. Weird. I'm still an hour behind you - your reply shows as 7:54 :) And it's not my machine... Ah, well. File under "unexplained randomness", I guess.
  3. ...that the CERB clock hasn't changed yet. Mod, you can't hide all summer... at some point you'll have to share the pain that the rest of us had this weekend :)
  4. Samantha, Rick - thank for your replies! Obviously there would be tax advantages to being able to set up a proper business (although this would possibly be offset by the increase in paperwork and accountancy and other tedious necessities). What I'd *really* hope for is that the existence of legal and recognized brothels would - eventually - lead our self-appointed moral guardians to realize that they aren't the dens of iniquity that they might previously have thought, and that the people who work there and visit aren't the dregs of society that they had assumed. On a somewhat related tangent, I think this sort of thing has been a huge boon to the LGBT community, as the people who have fought so hard and for so long against their inclusion in society as equals have slowly (or sometimes suddenly) come to discover that what they oppose so implacably is not some remote and terrifying "other", but their own friends and families that they love and respect. Maybe the same could happen for SPs and their clients too... Or maybe I'm being over-optimistic here. But I can dream, right?
  5. Woohoo! Let the madness begin! (again)
  6. Absolutely. Probably the least enjoyable visit I've had was the one where I left the envelope in my coat pocket, and then spent the rest of the time thinking "Must remember the envelope!" every five minutes. Entirely my own fault, of course, but not something I'd want to do again.
  7. A question on all this: does the existence of legal and recognized brothels (as in NZ and some parts of Oz) lead to their existence - and thus visiting or working in them - becoming more mainstream and accepted by society at large? Just wondering if anyone has any clue about this...
  8. Oh, I don't know about that... :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nominative_determinism
  9. I must admit, I'm puzzled by the idea that a SP who gives a good experience on her home turf would suddenly become less good because she happened to be on the road. I really don't see how this would make any difference at all! I'm sure there are fantastic SPs and less fantastic SPs, but I don't see how the city they happen to be in on any given day makes any difference. A diamond is a diamond, whether it's set in gold or brass.
  10. Indeed. Thanks, WIT - I've learned a lot from your insights over the time I've been here.
  11. Sign me up for the minority (or majority, or whatever it's at now :) ) One thing I'd add - I'd like whoever I'm with to have as much fun as I'm having. If you're not, tell me what to do to make sure you are!
  12. Indeed, thanks Mod. Good to have it cleared up :)
  13. ...although I got the impression that this rule change was aimed more at allowing ladies to PM people who inquire about specific services, rather than more general queries, although it's entirely possible I've got the wrong end of the stick here... perhaps our esteemed Mod could clarify?
  14. A little less naked than is usual here, but she's nevertheless very cute. Or at least, I think so
  15. ...a translation of the lunacy at http://mikedang.tumblr.com/post/3339460676/i-desperately-wanted-to-know-what-the-heck I'm still none the wiser, and I still love it.
  16. This may be the wrong country for this, but.... a mash-up of people seeing snow for the first time. Well, I liked it :) I guess it's more fun when you've never had to shovel huge piles of the stuff...
  17. For those using Firefox, the BetterPrivacy add-on is very good for this - it cleans quite a lot of stuff up when you exit the browser. Very useful.
  18. Slayer - War Ensemble With my apologies in advance to anyone who listened to this expecting anything... nice :)
  19. Happy birthday! I was hoping to be the first to get in on the day, but I'm afraid I'm an hour early :)
  20. I recently paid a first visit to Angel's Touch, and was lucky enough to spend an hour with Cheryl. Very impressed with the setup - the massage tables seem a little bigger than most, which is nice. Cheryl was very friendly, and has the most beautifully soft skin - a real pleasure to touch. She gives a really good massage - she worked out knots I didn't know I had - and once I'd turned over everything was nicely sustained and built up until the.. um... end  A good experience... I'll be back.
  21. My (virtual) money's on Iran. They had a good go last year. Although if I had my way, I'd *love* to see the House of Saud go down in flames. Even if it makes driving anywhere horribly expensive.
  22. Things have changed in recent years, fortunately. Yes, there was once a time when dictators could simply walk away to a live of luxury on the riviera funded by whatever billions they'd managed to pillage from the country they were supposed to be governing. But over the last few year, this has become less easy; governments in the West (or perhaps more to the point, the populations they rule over) have become rather less tolerant of letting tyrants enjoy a quiet retirement. Hosni Mubarak would probably have been much better off it he'd quit a decade ago (which makes him less smart than PP ). The Swiss government had already put a freeze on any assets he may or may not have in that country (it should be noted that this is a pre-emptive check, rather than proof of any piles of loot stashed away), but the fact remains that it isn't as easy to be a retired despot as it used to be.
