  1. The thing with Deb and her feelings for Dexter creeps me out, too, haha. But I like that they're willing to take the risk and make the audience uncomfortable. I kind of like what it says about us as the audience -- that we're cool with watching a serial killer do his thing but semi-incestuous love is creepy. It's sneaky. :)
  2. Coming from the other sides of things, I don't believe in a higher being or fate, but I'm not sure I believe in free will, either. Oh no, Contraman, I'm stealing your contrarian powers!! All kidding aside, there are a lot of things that go into our decisions that we are not aware of. Our conscious mind sometimes finds reasons for things we've done instinctively after the fact. I'm doing a poor job of explaining it, but I've come across a lot of articles and interesting reads over the last couple of years that question how much of our personalities are predetermined by genes, and how much of our decision-making is ruled by biology. In essence, yes, we make our own decisions. But to a certain extent the kind of choices we will make are already determined once we're born. I always aim to learn and grow and change, but I'm willing to entertain the possibility that there may be other things behind my decisions than me simply weighing the pros and cons. I'm not sure if we have free will or not, but I thinks it's possible that the level of free will we have, pure freedom, I mean, is negligible. But I know that I don't believe a higher power is putting people, events, or anything else in our paths to teach us things. I believe all of that is random. I hope that kind of made sense.
  3. I can't wait! It's one of my favourite shows. Even when they use sloppy plot devices I find they do it with humour. It will be interesting to see how Deb handles discovering Dexter's identity. She did let Dexter go he was teamed up with Lumen, so it's not as though she has never flirted with vigilantism. But the large and tangled web of lies that Dex and Harry have woven around her is sure to cause major feelings of betrayal. I think that will be harder for her to get over than the fact that he's the Bay Harbour Butcher. I hope it is a good season. It could be awesome or it could be terrible.
  4. I scored 10. I guess I'm in the right business.
  5. I had a really great time and it was so nice to meet everyone! Thanks again to Angela for setting this up, and to MisterT for making the most delicious brownies ever!
  6. Thank you so much for putting this together Angela! I'm excited to meet everyone tonight. I really appreciate all the work you've put in to make the social happen.
  7. This guy: Nikolaj Coster-Waldau He never did much for me in Game of Thrones, but then I saw him in Headhunters. Although here he is all tied up: And that's hot. Although his hygiene isn't doing so well in that last photo. His mileage may vary.
  8. Nathalie Lefebvre does strap on play. Her website is here. She's also a wonderful person. I think she might be what you're looking for. Best of luck in choosing! And congrats on taking the plunge and posting, even if you don't plan to do it often.
  9. I also think you would like Berlin. And while she has more of a spinner-type body, Nathalie Lefebvre would be a great choice, as well. She can definitely dyke it up and strap it on. Read her blog and you'll know what I mean. Best of luck choosing!
  10. I'm pretty sure he's dabbled here and there... As for the context in which he said it, I'm sad he turned out to be exactly as oppressive and crooked as everyone said he was. There was a time, long ago, when I hoped most of the negative coverage of Putin could be chocked up to anti-Russian sentiments State-side. Back then, I would have found this kind of comment thoroughly amusing. Now I just sigh. He says it because he can get away with saying whatever he wants.
  11. Get well soon, Old Dog! And then take it easy. :) Best wishes and warm thoughts!!
  12. I've known that I am bisexual since I was 15. I think I actually knew long before then but didn't necessarily link the word to myself until later. I've had threesomes in my personal life long before I started escorting. In fact, I actually lost my virginity in one. So offering duos just seemed natural for me. I get excited about every one of them. And yes, chemistry is very important to me.
  13. My favourite tea is English Breakfast. I even drink it in the evening sometimes. I also love white or green chai. I love that there are so many varieties of green tea to choose from. My favourite green tea, though, is ginger and green tea. I also love green with jasmine. On warm evenings I find peppermint tea really pleasant. I also love chamomile or calendula tea on occasion. The one category of tea I don't like would be most fruity blends of tea. They're just never really appealed to me.
  14. I'm @GeorgianaSweet :) Surprisingly my name wasn't taken, haha. :P
  15. I always like names like Georgia and Georgina, and was originally looking at George for a last name. I picked Georgiana because studying 18th Century Europe and Britain is a bit of a passion for me, and Georgiana was a fairly common name in England during that century. I choose Sweet because I have a weakness for names that are also common words. (I also have a weakness for sweets, so that might have influenced the decision as well.)
  16. There are a lot of online stores for brands like Lise Charmel if you're confident of your size. Here's one of many, for example. :) If you look at Notherntantra's posts he often links to where he found them, too.
  17. Text is really important for SEO, so this might not be the best route. Spiders don't find pictures as appealing as text. I know we're not getting a lot of traffic by random searches but it's still something to consider.
  18. I do think it would help to some extent to prevent highlighting text on the site. Yes, people can type out everything, but I honestly believe most are too lazy to do so. It's something that you do once and if it saves going after these girls individually after the fact I think it would help. There are ways around any protections that we put in place but they require a certain time commitment and sometimes a bit of tech savvy to accomplish. I don't think most of the girls who copy a site want to spend the time (if they did they'd write their own content) or have to technical knowledge needed to disable or work around the safety features. It seems like it's worth a try to me.
  19. You could try adding right click protection to your site. That would probably cut down on a lot of the theft, although it's not perfect. I have a feeling that the people who copy and paste are lazy, so if it's harder for them to copy the text directly from your site to theirs that should cut down on most of the copycats. It doesn't help for ads, though, so I'm not sure what you can do there. There are things you can do to show that you wrote them first but that only helps after the fact. :( Sorry this is happening to you.

    This picture is hot!
  21. Congratulations, Emily! 3000 posts is a fabulous contribution to the board! Awesome job!
  22. My comment was too long-winded an was cut-off. Someday I will count how many characters we are allowed! What I was trying to say was that your posts show a lot of sincerity and innate intelligence. So in my opinion, that more than makes up for any minor difficulties with spelling and grammar. And I will add that you do not come across at all as someone who doesn't care or doesn't try. You have a good message and it comes across clearly. I think that the problem with some of the poorly written ads is that they do not actually convey much of a message -- other than cum be wit me. An ad without a message but with perfect spelling and grammar will just be forgotten. But I think if an ad has no real message and it's full of mistakes you start to tie the two together and assume that a lack of intelligence and/or care must be involved. So there's a bit of a confirmation bias, maybe. Just my thoughts.
