-- Right now, bitcoin mining is using a concept called "proof of work" - where complex "math" needs to be solved in order to gain consensus that a transaction has publicly occurred and should be written to the blockchain. It's very hardware intensive and gets worse the closer we get to the final bitcoin. Miners get rewarded in 2 ways. When a new block is written, new coins are given out to the miners that participated in writing the block. They also get paid by transaction fees. Theres another method called "proof of stake" that works differently to write new blocks to the blockchain. It is far faster and requires less hardware. It's probably the way forward to the future, but because of the Democratic nature of blockchain, it takes a lot to get consensus. Some alt coins are using proof of stake successfully and some others such as etherum are trying to move towards it. Eventually things will settle and the network will be robust enough to be self sustaining and fast enough for real time transactions. -- the NFT thing is getting a lot of bad press because of what is being reported. Paying millions for a tweet is ridiculous, but this again is the first stage of a proof of concept. If blockchain technology can prove ownership of something so farcifarcical and stupid that people are willing to spend millions on something, imagine how else it can be used. It can prove ownership of anything. It is publicly viewable and not able to be forged/faked. It could be used for tracking ownership of real property, cars, copyrights, all of these things that currently cost serious $$$ to maintain, are maintained in private and proprietary databases, and are complex to share.

It was built to be a replacement currency for country based fiat It's definitely not there yet, the network isn't scalable enough to be used for small payments, so instead it's currently being treated like an investment opportunity / store of value. As it gets closer to the end of new coin generation, the price will bloom up again due to scarcity, and then eventually stabilize and then once it's not so volatile, it will be a useful currency. Of course there are still some scalability and network issues, which once everything falls into place in 5-10 years, it will be usable as a currency. The big thing to remember is that it's not just about the coin, it's about the technology that runs it. Blockchain is the revolution.

The volatility is the charm of it, it's pretty easy to make a huge profit in a short time. Back in November I started playing with $1500 USD - completely separate from the main stash. After making a few informed/lucky trades, that 1500 is now 18000. I also made a couple of bad/unlucky trades and missed out on another 1600 but hey, I'm still "slightly" ahead.

But back to one of the points of this topic, yes, there is definitely a lack of variety of toys for male-typical body parts unless you enjoy anal play. If you look at the male section of toy shops, it's basically a variety of things to put your thing into, usually marketed as being identical to a particular "adult star". There are very few options that allow remote play, especially as compared to those made for female-typical body parts. I'm jealous that it's so hard to find something that I can just "use" and then for the most part just lay back and enjoy the ride. The verge is pretty good, but also a bit tricky with timing.

I had a Lovense Max for awhile, which has both a vibration and a suction function. It was good, especially the suction part, but overall the toy itself was just annoying. While I'm not especially "endowed" , the opening in the toy was super super tight, to the point that I had to dismantle it to get it to even work, and use a liberal amount of lube. Then once in, it felt a bit like a tight clamp, and because the thing was about a foot long, you had to maintain a solid grip on it. So while in the end it gave a good amount of pleasure, the 10 minutes of frustrated setup, and then having to make sure you kept it in a certain position so that you didn't either slide out of the grip if it rolled the wrong way, or that you didn't push/pull/twist your peen in ways that it was never meant to go, I ended up getting rid of it since I found I just never bothered using it. The remote play feature was the best part of it, but if you don't have a remote partner, it's basically yet another cumbersome thing to try and stick your peen into.

I'm definitely not into the butt stuff personally, but I do have a variety of toys. Mostly variations on the fleshlight style stroker, but also some other fun things. My most recent purchase was the wevibe verge. It's quite the fun little toy, and even better with a remote partner. Hey, a guy has to have something to warm him up during these cold winter months.

I said this before about a year ago, Square allows anyone to accept credit cards online/in person, you can setup anything as the company name and it will show up as "SQ*Name" on the transaction. The downside is that it still captures the real name of the credit card holder. So you'd want to get a prepaid card to be completely discrete. It would cost up to about 3% per transaction, but I think if I was a SP, I'd want to use it to make life easier.

Unfortunately it's almost impossible to get something removed from there without legal action. Someone I worked with was put on there a few years ago and she eventually just gave up as she didn't want to pay a lawyer. She tried for over a year. That site is notorious for not taking things down unless it will impact their bottom line. Well I read a fair amount, but usually it's to distract my mind when I'm trying to fall asleep, so I'm usually reading sci-fi or adventure style novels. I recently read "To Sleep in a Sea of Stars" by Christopher Paolini. It's pretty hard sci-fi, but it really stuck with me, so if you're into that sort of thing, and dont mind a loooong read (1600 pages for the ebook version). I'm looking forward to reading the new Michael J Fox autobiography type book. I think it deals with getting older and dealing with the things that he is. I'm also looking forward to "Peace by Chocolate" by Jon Tattrie. It's the story of a Syrian refugee who eventually moved to Canada and made it his new home. He's somewhat of a local hero around their parts.

Motivating a remote employee who isn't doing well working remotely is difficult. First, you gotta have a frank discussion with them and find out what's going on. Mention the missed deadlines when working remotely vs in the office. Ask probing questions as to why they think it's happening. Stay away from negative language as much as possible. Focus on the "wanting to get to the bottom of the issue so that you can help" aspect. Get them to tell you why. There's always a reason. Most common I've found with new remote workers are - not having a private workspace at home - not having a comfortable workspace at home - time management - setting expectations with them. If they are unable to come up with an actual reason then it's time to start down the path of performance management - probably leading to the employment ending. Good luck!

I've learned that life is short, and sometimes you find out its even shorter than you once thought, so regardless of what's happening in your life, in the lives of those around you and in the world in general that you need to stop procrastinating, stop saying "one day I'll... " , and get out there and live, do that thing you wanted to do forever, go to that place you've always dreamed of, and learn that thing you've always wanted to learn. You may think you have all the time in the world, but the world may have other ideas.
