If you remove your number publicly and require email as an initial mode of contact, you can weed out some of these problems. They have to tell you their number before you give out your number. It has helped me.

Why do contractors giggle and snicker when you tell them what part of the renovation you plan to do yourself? I mean, I know I'm a girl and wasn't born with a tool belt around my waist. News flash, girls can do renovations too. If I could find a female contractor, I'd hire her in a heartbeat. However, the only ones I can find are guys. I'm renovating my kitchen and only need help with the plumbing and electrical. I'm doing the demo. I've done so many renos in the past and know what I can and cannot do. Sheese.

Couldn't figure out where to post this. Things that suck? Highlights? The roofers came this morning without advance notice. Boy do they start early... Everything is so loud. It feels like they are going to come right through the ceiling. Then, a light fixture fell down, landing on my head. It hurt, but nothing serious. However, in the grand scheme of life, I will have a new roof once they are done, so it's really a highlight.

Manscaping. I enjoy it. However, if going for the full bald look, it needs to be kept up. So that porcupine feeling doesn't happen especially going up the flag pole. So if you don't want to maintain it regularly, simple trimming is also fabulous. My personal preference is trimming or waxing - not shaving. The stubble hurts.

I feel it's worth it to let her know. However you are not obligated. If her profiles are cross referencing into her personal life she might be unaware. Some still have their Facebook on public setting and fb seems to cross reference everything. They say to not use fb on your work phone and don't use a personal Gmail and work Gmail for example. Most friends on fb could just be aquantance and not really know each other. Some accept ANY friend request.
