Dummpy, perhaps we should start to organize the social events the same way as the other events - via PM and e-mail - so locations and who's potentially participating is much more discrete. We now have more than 350 members in the Poly group, of whom perhaps 35 (ten per cent) actually participate in our various activities. The rest probably consisting mostly of lurkers, jerkers and obviously now, a few weirdos. So perhaps the less said here about specifics of events and participants the better. Annessa 22743 Report post Posted August 14, 2009 i totally agree with making the event notices (of any kind) for this group more private, since this is a public group, anyone can curiously linger which for some (as Red has unfortunately had to deal with) this can only add more fuel for judgemental folk. I'm sorry you couldnt come out because of someones bad comments red, I roo was looking forward to meeting another lady of the group. and to whoever wrote that stuff to Red, not cool man. The ones that can't either do so when they can and when they do they are appreciated!! or brood jeolously about there lives. I get hit at least 3 or 4 times a year by yahoo's and crack pots. Lets ignore them they can't actually effect us unless we let them. I like posting the events public but I can see who this can cause an issue with so many loosers around the internet. jerican 657 Report post Posted August 15, 2009 Man this steams me, Red is one of my favorite people on CERB and I just can't understand why people feel they need to raise shit just for the sake of doing so. I wasn't able to make the social as I was in Montreal a little late the night before and seeing a visiting SP this morning, being tired today wasn't an option so I opted for an early night last night. I definitely want to stop lurking so I will PM the next time there is an event, I want to meet some of others I don't know and seeing Annessa and Sabrina again would be fun as well...I also think that making these events a little more protected is good.
