They have likely left to another bar or quit dancing not sure. Another quiet Saturday night at Playmates. At 6:00 pm there were about 7 dancers and 6 of them ebony ladies. I looked around and there were 3 patrons. Things did not change much at 8:00 and it was time to leave. Also long breaks between stage dances. The only pretty lady (in my eyes) was the new (likely latin) daytime bartender/waitress. Edit: Incredibly I went back to Playmates this Sunday late afternoon (I drove back my visiting friend and her home happened to be close to mates) and this time (though Hayley and Teasy were not there) I wasn't disappointed. I saw the ebony lady who had danced for me before (Lolita). Upon my arrival there were 4 Ebony ladies. I took Lolita to the CR. She is a very clean lady and I love that (my type). Then she gave me a few open minded dances even for PM standards. After the dances were over she cleaned up herself. She has a very cute face, from Dominican R. and open minded and very friendly. Strip bars have been on a spiral downward trend for years now in both quality of dancers and quantity everywhere but it appears worst hit are the Playmates and Taboo as Barbarellas and Pigale still have some quality to offer. In my (admittedly limited) experience, the 'Mate rarely seems very busy until 9:00 to 9:30 or so on Friday and Saturday evenings and even at those times may seem less than fast-paced, to say the least. At most other times it seems to have a very quiet and "laid-back" atmosphere. Most times the 'Mate gives the impression of being a somewhat unusual hybrid of neighbourhood bar and SC. More than once I've observed (usually younger) patrons arrive, order beer and leave fairly quickly after observing the "long breaks between stage dances". Yes Playmates used to be a heavenly place in late 90"s and early years of the new century. Even I remember it from days of table dances (early 90's). The most beautiful girls were There. Even Barbs was a distance third (second being what used to be called Fanny's Cabaret on Bank Street in early 90's. Very crowded on and off the stage. Party like environment. Very good looking girls. My, how things have changed since. I think (anticipate) it is likely that strip bars may be on their way up again in 2015 sharply. With internet so readily and legally available (and smoking ban) both hit strip bars real bad past 7 to 10 years. This one is fun in the CR and I'll probably see her again. But oh how I miss the previous lady who went by that name. The PM is not really an evening bar anymore! It is a "daytime, neighbourhood bar " nowadays. Most visitors are regulars and go around lunch time. However, since they've failed to define "sexual services" in the bill, and the Senate doesn't look like it's about to, this stuff will end up being decided by the courts. What SCs do in the meantime will be up to them, and may well depend on what local LE decide they're interested in making a fuss about (or not). The Harper Government will be satisfied I guess when only married people can see each other naked. Seeing each other naked? I see no good reason for that. You can have sex under the covers, in the dark, and strictly for procreative purposes only. If lap dancing is defined illegal (which btw, I never said in any of my reviews that I am participating) then SC owners will have to close the CRs and most patrons will have to stop taking lap dancing but as of now it hasn't been defined clearly as an illegal activity. So it depends on the municipalities and courts to define it. Even so I remember in the early part of the 90's there were no CRs or lap dancing but the strip bars were crowded (even in 80's in Edmonton it was just stage dancing not even the $5 table dance we had here in Ontario and strip bars were crowded there too). Why? Because there was no easily accessible internet and escort/MP ads then and patron had no other alternatives but to come to Scs which was the only place they could see nude women. Maybe, but so far most municipalities have shown very little inclination to include stripclubs into their definition of prostitution. It seems that provinces and municipalities will be selectively enforcing this law, simply because they realize how ill-conceived it is. There are so many ways of interpreting everything in it, it's just begging for the courts to come in and gut it and quickly. There have been previous rulings over the years, which set a precedent about the status of stripclubs, I suspect that whatever precedents have already been set, is the way things will remain with stripclubs. My feeling is that with this little bit of stability, stripclub popularity will go up again, as more "interactive" forms of entertainment will become illegal to purchase. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Among the girls I saw and knew (or met), there was: shy blonde Kim, Delicious with her new manmades, muletto Elena, asian Lana, blonde Bambi, tall Cabria, petite burnette Sky, blonde Anastasia, Candy with her perfect natural boobs, french brunette Mina (I think it's her name), well endowed Adora, Jackie (always smiling), young Kate, petite Talia, Carina (a rare visit), and many more that I didn't know or don't remember. Even the ebony Sally (a.k.a. Foxy at Barefax) was there, but only as a non-stripping visitor. I had dances from Delicious and was not disappointed. She's very warm and her private dances are very satisfying. On a different note, I just remembered 16 strippers names from the top of my head... bbgerman 424 Report post Posted November 13, 2014 (edited) Stopped by PM for a short time today at lunch time. First time ever at PM for me. Waitress Louise was warm and extremely friendly. Food was free upon purchase of a drink (7$). Roast beef was on menu, along with gravy, pasta, french fries, rice, mashed potatoes, salad, cole slaw and olives. Food was good except for the mashed potatoes which I found to be dry. But chilled beer took care of the dryness ;-) General impression was that the place is a bit dark and could use a bit more light. Overall I really liked the place and will visit again as it is pretty relaxing and a nice place to hang out. There were about 30 patrons and just like at Pigales during lunch time, an overwhelming majority of them were senior folks. All the girls seemed very friendly when talking to the patrons and all of the patrons seemed to be having a good relaxing time. There were about 10 girls when I was there and a few more started coming in around 3pm. Delicious approached me at my table and we chatted and she was extremely warm and friendly. She is a brunette with long straight hair, about 5.6" tall sans shoes and has implants. But because she looked clean and fit and was warm to touch I decided to take her to the CR despite my strong dislike for implants. I didn't regret my decision. She was very friendly in the CR. Spent the entire time at PM after food with her. I found her to be warm, cooperative, womanly, feminine and friendly. Not a clock watcher. Loved my time with her and I will definitely see her again. She is about 32 years of age. Ashley and Candy were there. There were 3 to 4 ebony girls. Pretty wide range of girls in terms of body size. But I was pressed for time and didn't have time to explore some more. Will stop by again to see Delicious for sure. CRs at PM are very small and are semi private. Not much privacy. But that didn't bother me a bit when I was there with the lovely Delicious. No closed booths with an open entrance like at Pigales.
