I've had similar issues setting up a date, and had major delays or cancelation at last minute. I did have a chance to reschedule those, and had an amazing time when I did finally meet her. I've met with her a couple of times, and would meet her again if my schedule aligns with hers at some time in the future. The cancellation was after I waited for a bit without any updates. A complete ghosting is worst for sure. Like I said, she is a bad at communicating. Waiting an extra 15 minutes takes less time than booking a new appointment with someone else. If you've already travelled and committed to a specific time period, it's often the only option. For some, it's the only time available. If cancelled, there might not be another opportunity to schedule with someone else right away due to your own availability. So, it's not simping. So after about 30 minutes of ghosting I tried to get someone else....but it was already late and it couldn't be accommodated. I hold no ill will towards this lady but what harm is it to simply send a text saying "I'm not going to make it"? DaveM2 198 Report post Posted 7 hours ago No shows are really obnoxious, I've never understood why sending a clear text saying "sorry not going to be able to make it can we reschedule for x time" is too much to ask. I think stevens point was more about not trying to book her again in the future, yeah obviously spending 15-30 minutes trying to salvage the appointment after you already made the trip makes sense, what doesnt make sense is booking again after having your time (and money if it was outcall) wasted.
