RG you shouldn't shop too much. I advise you to purchase two of everything. See what I did there? A free grammar/spelling lesson :)

Not really a purchase, but an unexpected free service.

A few days ago, noticed the battery was dead on one of my wristwatches, a Swatch. As the battery on those models can easily be replaced using a coin or screwdriver, I went online to find one. To my surprise I learned Swatch Stores had a lifetime free battery replacement policy on all their watches.

Being walking distance from the Rideau Centre, I went there this morning and in only minutes the battery was replaced and time set. All for free. As expected, the young woman didn't initially recognized it as a Swatch due to being a limited production model with NATO strap never sold in Canada. But being based on the Irony Chrono series, the standard battery worked perfectly.

Nice to know we can still find free services.

Started off today with a physiotherapy session.  While my health plan covers it it doesn't do direct billing so I guess my first "last purchase of the day" was my physio.

Then I went out grocery shopping to stock up.  I also got more Covid masks (sold at the grocery stores) and something I haven't had in a long time but it's good in a heat wave...lemonade.

A new corded mouse for my desktop after the scrolling wheel died on my old one and cheap reading glasses. I know I should visit an optician for better glasses, but I rather wait until a return to normality. This should be good enough for another year.

And unlike my last Amazon order that took two months to deliver, this one only took 48hrs.

A Samsung S20+ because I shattered the screen on my old trusty phone..

But the camera on this one is definitely worth the upgrade 😊

My physiotherapy session.  My health insurance doesn't accept direct billing for physio so I upped the money.  I must say it's well worth the cost there's still pain (yes f*ck it hurts LOL) but I'm walking better (still told to use a cane day to day)

A few more exercises being added to the list for me and now both knees are going to be "hurt" oh whipped in shape until I see a specialist and get surgery.

While I'm happy with the progress made still in the back of my head I get the feeling this is just a band aid solution

I just invested in a 12 week Personal Training programme with a guy who specialises in Olympic Weightlifting 😎 Pretty excited to get strong!

That's probably what I need ! Or someone to get my ass on a treadmill!

Girl DO ITTTT. I loooove weight training, there's something so satisfying about getting stronger and it's the best way to really change your body composition IMO.

Got out to the Parkdale market, so nice to be able to get some nice fresh produce, had my first corn on the cob of the season, yummy. Support the farming community.
