I watched 'The Devil's Double' and what an incredible story. It's a fact-based account of a man who is forced to become the body double of Uday Hussein, Saddam's eldest depraved son.

The trailer:

Watched a 2008 Will Smith movie called "Seven Pounds".

Smith is a man with a fateful secret (caused the death of 7 people in a car accident) embarks on an extraordinary journey of redemption by forever changing the lives of seven strangers. Movie also has Rosario Dawson and Woody Harrlson.

Enjoyed it quite a bit.

it was cute, not too heavy but had some good funny parts. Jane Fonda looks great for her age

I watched Gone Girl this evening. Bit of a disappointment as it was was often predictable throughout and the ending (last 5 minutes) was kind of unbelievable. In all, I guess it was an OK popcorn movie, light fluff when you don't want to think.

Saw Big Eyes, based on a true story and I thought very good.

Aqua touch- I loved gone girl, just shows you how tastes can differ:) the ending was great, left it open for a sequel. I hope:)

Yes, tastes can differ! Perhaps I was just expecting too much.

I will give Big Eyes a try and see if tastes can perhaps match this time ;)

The Equalizer - is a 2014 American action thriller film directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by Richard Wenk, nominally based on the television series of the same name. It stars Denzel Washington, Chloë Grace Moretz, Marton Csokas, David Harbour, Bill Pullman and Melissa Leo.

Half watched "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" a couple nights ago. Need to re-watch it wasn't paying close attention. This much I can say, the girl, well don't cross the girl. She got revenge on someone who deserved it

and last night

Watched "Fury". Personally not too impressed with it, can't see me watching it again

We watched The Grand Budapest Hotel last weekend. Delightful!

I also finally got around to watching The Big Lebowsky. Honestly, I never thought I'd ever hear anyone drop more F-bombs than we do around here.

Finally, we watched some movie--I forget the name--chronicling the life and career of "Knuckles" Nylund. Really depressing! Mommas, don't let your babies grow up to be hockey goons!

Finally had the chance to relax and see a movie for the first time in a couple of weeks. I watched The Grand Budapest Hotel and highly recommend it, it was a funny movie and all of Wes Anderson's usual suspects were in it.

I also saw Lucy and was greatly disappointed. It started out gritty and thrilling then about half way through it completely went off the rails.

The grand Budapest hotel was great, nice change from many

A few I've seen lately and thought were good was "A walk among the Tombstones" I'm generally not a big Liam fan but the plot was good I thought

One I'd avoid was the Gambler-

The wedding Ringer-I thought was cute, not great but watchable

I'm still surprised no one has mentioned Selma-very good

Thanks for the reco on A walk among the Tombstones; I was debating on whether or not to see it, but I think I will now. That and Big Eyes as well.

Haven't seen Selma yet so I can't comment.

Saw -

Gone Girl - very entertaining but a bit too lengthy

Lucy - fell asleep half way through the film, lol,

Fury - Interesting, war hero movie, but also a bit lengthy

The Judge - entertaining, moving, good performance from Robert Duvall and Robert Downey Jr

- Grand Budapest Hotel - heard good things about it, Just found out that it's available on Netflix. Will be watching shortly.

Recommended by a lady on Twitter, saw it today on VOD

"The Good Lie"

About refugees from Africa. And what one man did for another man (the good lie)

Things we take for granted here (well in the movie the US) we are really fortunate to have
