I also find the canadian politeness contrasting the american shows oh so amusing: "I'm terribly sorry, madam, but I have to put you under arrest. Could you please put your hands behind your back. I started watching it about 10 years ago and I watch it regularly. My late wife got me hooked on it and we always watched it together. Lots of ordinary folks in it with some good story lines. I'm probably older than your father! LOL "Sons of Anarchy" and "Breaking Bad" remain very much my favourites. MI-5 is really good too. I am also starting to watch "girls" on HBO and it has all of the same awesome qualities. It is so hard to watch the network fluff after seeing these more realistic ( nudity, swearing ) shows.
