I would like to ask all you readers to help me out here

 

i had a client asking me for change just an example the service is 80 and he only had a bill he still wanted his change what would you do? How would you answer ? Do you give him the change ? What if you dont have change?

I state on my website that I do not keep cash on me, therefore I do not provide change.

Money exchange upfront would help avoid such things I suspect.

 

Stating upfront like Ava does is a good idea for your own safety as well. Thankfully it does not happen a lot but in the past some SP's have been robbed (guy asks for change and when you pull your purse out to make change the guy snatches and runs).

 

If you say "Sorry I don't keep any money here to make change for you" (or better yet state it on your website like Ava does) that would remove a lot of the risk I suspect and anyone looking to rob a provider this way may think twice after reading that as well.

True, I've seen girls pull out a wad of cash so big I felt like stealing it....and I don't steal from girls....so don't do that, however if you don't have any change than what can you do?

 

But if you're advertising 80 for a service, then you should provide change if he's only got 100. If you expect 100, then advertise 100. Not everyone wants to tip. There's a whole thread somewhere on that subject.

I never ask for nor expect change from a donation as most ladies make it quite clear the do not carry sufficient cash with them or at their locations to provide change. I think this is prudent on their part and should be your policy as well. This requires some pre-planning on the client's part. I do appreciate it when ladies' donations are in round/even numbers as it does make things easier (ATM), but that's just my view.

This is an interesting question. In my 7 months as an MA I have never had anyone ask for change and my rates are not "even" at 160, 220, and 280.

I think that if your price is listed (especially when it says you do not give change) it is the gentleman's responsibility to come with the correct amount of cash. Disussing money in any way is a turn-off and can alter the mood of a session. Why do you think we ladies ask for the money to be discreetly placed in an unsealed envelope and set on the dresser/table/counter? 'Cause we don't wanna talk about money!

I ask for stuff like 150, and have also never been asked to make change. I'm occasionally given 160, but no one's ever been like "can I get $10 back?"

 

I personally never carry any money to a job though. I always have a friend nearby who I meet up with after the job is over, and I'm nearby when she's working, so the one who's not there is always the one with the money. It just seems safer. There's no reason I should need money in there, so I don't bring any. Generally my purse just has condoms and lube haha. :)

I always like to know the price up front so that I can have it ready. I don't like to discuss it at the time as it takes away from the experience. Having the correct amount ready in an envelope is simply part of the preparation process. Buy a pack of gum on the way if you need to break a bill. You can have extra on hand if you think you may want to tip, or if you are unsure if there are "extras" offered, but the donation itself is always ready to go. If for some reason I couldn't get around to exact change, I don't think I would ask for it. Especially for $10! I likely wouldn't even mention it.

Firstly, always get payment out of the way up front and to avoid anything awkward or being ripped off afterward. It might seem suspicious, but someone bringing a 100 bill to an 80 appt with all the counterfeit stories we hear about is something to be wary of. If you get paid first, it can be dealt with in a couple of ways:

 

- He doesn't want to pay 100, so leaves.

- He pays 100 for the 80 appt, and learns a valuable lesson about bringing exact change.

- He goes and gets the bill changed into 20's and returns with exact change.

- You offer something in exchange for the extra 20 you are getting: in time, in service, in an offer of a 20 discount for his next visit.

 

When you explain that you do not have change, you do it in a way that shows that it is not wise for you to have cash on hand, rather than in a way that implies you are trying to skim extra 20's off the clients. (altho a rate of 80 does not imply that to me lol, since he should not have brought a hundred dollar bill in the first place expecting change.)

My 2 cents for what it's worth. The money issue should be dealt with up front before anything else...that would solve the money matter

And IMHO the client should have correct change.

Finally, this client sounds pretty cheap, no tip???

I have a question. Most women I see, (escort, MA or what ever) keep their numbers nice and round to avoid all that mess in the first place. If that is the case, and the guy can't be bothered to bring the correct amount, does he really deserve change to begin with? I actually find it sort of disrespectful that he would even ask.

I honestly feel that you deserve whatever he hands you. He had that bill for one purpose, to give it all away in full, otherwaise he would have got change. He knew he only had that one bill, but still decided to pick you up.....He knew what he was doing!

I have to agree with MasterOwls. Personally, if I don't take the time to stop to break a 20 so I can hit an odd amount, then it is on me. I drop the even amout that came out of the ATM in the envelope and the extra is a tip.

I agree the "customer is always right", but I do not think it is a good idea to have money laying around during an appointment.

 

So as someone already said, give the client options. I will let them run down the street to the store. But I will not give them change. I will not pull out money or go into details about money! All my information is on my site clearly stated for all to see.

 

Who he gives his money to is his right to decide. But who I show my money to, is my right to decide!
