Can't speak for anyone else, but I can definitely say that I am MUCH better in bed at 31 than I was at 19, and if I'd tried to get into this business at a young age I would have failed, miserably. Hi, I'm a mature provider,happily so.Although I do what I have to to market myself. This isn't a business that is kind to aging, nor are some involved in it. But as Cancun has also grown as a holiday and dive resort, development has reduced the area available to turtles. Today, though, many nest sites are protected, there are turtle hatcheries to help numbers increase, and there is publicity to help local people and resort owners value the natural riches of the region. Luis earns enough from tourism photography to allow him time to document his beloved wildlife. "The turtles are so used to seeing people in the water that they think we're just part of the environment," says Luis, which means he has been able to get to know individuals, recognizing them from the markings on their faces. "This meter-long female, grazing on seagrass, took no notice of me, apart from glancing up briefly." Recently, Luis has noticed what he suspects may be a new threat: at certain times of the year, a yellowish alga covers some of the seagrass. The suspicion is that the algal growth is the result of sewage from the resort, which has already affected the coral. What is clear is that the turtles avoid eating it. Got laid ! Been awhile... Went BOOM ! YAY !!! ;)

I am one of those SP's who truly believes in building a rapport between client and SP. It adds to the experience for me, as well as for the client. However, I have my limitations. When a new client I've never seen before wants to email or text back and forth for weeks on end with no intention to book, I tell him to stop contacting me. I don't have TIME to be chatting my time away for free. With a client I've seen before, I rather enjoy keeping in touch. I like hearing how they are, and getting the occasional hello. However, again there are limits. When communication starts to invade my personal time, when communication and actions therein start to invade my personal life, when communications suggest that I engage in things that are inappropriate or when communication, after 5 months, becomes obvious that there is NO intent to book again, with lots of mixed messages and dishonesty confirmed by my colleagues, then yes. You are a time waster. Period. I have always said... When clients are respectful of MY time, I will be glad to look after them. Respect is earned, not a given. Trust, once lost, is difficult to recover and for most SP's, not worth the headache.

In view we bring most of perceived stress and worry onto ourselves. Years ago after a string of deaths of my mother, grandmother and aunt within 60 days of each other I would suffer major anxiety attacks. I'd wake up in the middle of the night in a panic state and felt compelled to either fight or flight, the more I fought them them the worst they got. After a particularly bad one I realized that fighting them wasn't working for me so instead I decided embraced them and when they happened ride them out. I had learnt that no matter how hard they were, they would inevitably end. Once I embraced them, I became less and less panicked when they occurred to a point that when it happens now which is extremely rare and I can easily self talk my way out of them. In the end it is mind over matter...I decided not to mind so it no longer matters. Peace MG
