I do state that i prefer texting but as Raven said...when a gent contacts you through email, usually its for an advance booking...which is fine too. I reply as fast to an emails as i do with text...I receive my emails on my phone and get a notification when it comes in...but I've replied to emails the minute i received them and never got a reply...so im thinking...did he receive my email? If a gent mentions that he prefers emails for privacy...I will respect is demand and only email until its time to confirm...then I ask for a text message. I don't mind a phone call either but Im not always in a position to answer my phone... in a public place...always very awkard...so what i do when i miss a call is reply with a text message apologizing for the missed call and explaning I don't have privacy to speak freely. I find that most people are lazy when it comes to email - when it comes to NFLD from what I have heard from a few gentleman I know is the ladies want the "NOW" booking on the phone and not the eventual one over email. Its their loss as they are missing out on some of the nicest clients by being lazy. If you don't want to use email, don't put it in your ad or on your website. If you do use it but don't check it regularly it takes 2mins to set up an auto reply saying as much and to call if it is regarding a same day booking,etc. I only use email until the time comes to confirm via phone, and find that in the last few months most potential clients prefer this as there are WAY too MANY scams and untrustworthy ladies out there (sorry to say it, but its a reality). Building trust is important in this business and establishing a rapport in email prior to sharing a phone number is essential. I don't give out my number till I expect the potential client to provide me with theirs. Privacy is too hard to come by these days and unfortunately too many people have wrecked a basic trust in our business by random foolishness. i don't blame men for not wanting to disclose their numbers one bit.

I find that email can be used as a form of initial communication. However, for the actual confirmation of details, most ladies need to talk to you - hear your voice for example. I won't book anyone via email - they must call me (or I can call them if its easier for them) to get location and final confirmation. Anyone can create a fake email account - a little more challenging to create a fake phone number and voice. That's why its great to have a dedicated hobby phone - you turn it on when you want to play and turn it off when you are done. You don't have to worry so much about someone calling you out of the blue if you are worried about discretion.

The Best ? is a term that cannot really be answered, unless you have met all the women :). This is a term that is very subjective. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Women come in all shapes, sizes and colours. We all have our own preferences. Also, comes in play is chemistry and YMMV. One person's experience may be great because of the connection, another may not be good, because of hygiene. Some hobbyist based their opinions on only few SP/MA experiences. I won't speak for touring ladies, though I know many who've shared their stories with me. But in my personal experience, St John's tends to be a place with a lot of last minute requests. Also a lot of asked questions and not a lot of follow through at times. I believe the local fare has made it this way. They take last minute bookings, don't screen, take phone bookings, etc. Makes it VERY challenging for those of us with a different approach. Additionally, just because I live in NL, doesn't mean I live in St. John's and therefore these approaches don't work for me... Especially when I don't have my own incall location!!! I hope others chime in on this one!!!!

I just got back from NL..from my first experience... Lots of texts that dont follow through..lots of calls ...lots of bookings that dont get confirmed= no show (when i mean lots i mean more then 1) Pre bookings are actually rare...As the OP mentionned, as a touring lady, pre bookings from reputable gents makes our tour profitable and weighs a lot on our decision to go back... Summer, even though we have not met, I can certainly understand why you had lower pricing to start your SP career. To me, a lady is not "undercutting" others when she first starts out with lower prices, but she is simply gauging her (or his) level of companionship. After a while, with recommendations and experience, adjusting her pricing to what she feels is appropriate; in effect, EARNING her justification. New providers will always draw attention from established ones, that's just the nature of the business.

As was said, clients chose a provider on what they are seeking. Looks, rates, connection, services etc. THIS is the bottom line. Every provider should do what they feel comfortable with and what works for them. I think what gets me the most are all the assumptions/judgements flying around. Lower price means undercutting which means a thought out decision to hurt someone elses business or gain more. Sometimes a lower price is just that, a lower price. There should be no assigning of guilt to it. Yes, there are ruthless people in this and every industry who make conscious decisions to screw other people but if we went through life thinking that of everyone, what a sorry state of affairs that would be. Lower rate does not mean lower quality, lack of companionship or giving. Rate does not determine the chemistry you can have with someone. Lower rate does NOT mean busier just as higher rate does not mean slower. Another assumption not mentioned here but I have thought about. Being an SP doesn't automatically mean you're rolling in money either. That you have a huge extensive wardrobe, tonnes of toys, a hotel room on call or a hundred other things. Everyone's situation is different and until you walk a mile in someone elses shoes, you cannot understand their situation. In response to those who say lady x is charging this so why don't you. This comment says more about you as a potential client than the lady charging the lower rate. To the providers that get upset at the lady charging the rate, why? It's the guy showing disrespect not the lady trying to make a living. Honestly, a lot of this doesn't matter because people are going to keep on doing what they're going to do, think what they want to think. I'm just a voice giving another perspective. Find someone who makes you feel good in whatever way you want to feel good.

I'm with Nat on this one.... the rate a lady chooses is up to her, and her only. There is no set local price. We don't know the reasons behind why someone decides on a rate to charge, and we have no right to pass judgement on them for what they decide. Charging a lower rate doesn't mean the person has no self-respect. It could mean they are comfortable providing their services at that rate. Or it could mean they need the money. Or it could mean many things. Similar things have been said about providers who choose to offer 15-minute specials, and I firmly believe none of us has the right to look down our noses at the girls who choose to do so, and I belive the same about the rate issue. What other girls charge has no effect on my business. My clients come to see ME, and I believe most of them would no matter what I charged. I am not concerned about 'losing' clients to lower-priced providers. Clients don't 'belong' to us anyway.

I think it's up to everyone to set their own rates. It's a personal decision, and one based on a lot of factors that we might not necessarily know about. "Do 'they' even know the cost of living in Canada?" I'm assuming you're talking about recent immigrants of migrant laborers? I'm sure they do know the cost of living here, but need to make a certain amount of money to make ends meet. I have no idea, we aren't walking in their shoes after all... Ultimately we can't judge. We don't know anything about their lives or what determined their rates, etc. I don't think it has anything to do with self-respect or fairplay either... it's just people trying to make a living in ways they see fit. These things have a tendency of working themselves out. I'm really sorry it's making life difficult for you, Eve. I think that the really good clients, clients who are respectful and kind, will continue to see the ladies they want, regardless of the cost. I don't think it will drive your prices down at all. People are always transitioning in and out of the industry... Those that stick around (like you) and have good reputations (like you) will be successful in the long run. Email appointments can be great, and it is something that I do accept, but for the 'now' appointment, I may not be in an area where I do not have email access. I do have email listed on my profile, but I do have listed that I prefer texting (as I see that immediately), and I can understand the gentleman's need for discretion and privacy. Unfortunately though, I may miss an email due to not being able to check it. A text message or phone call I will see right away. My only advise on the matter of email is this: if you are seeking a 'now' appointment, I would feel its better to text or call to the lady (if that is what is preferred by her especially) that way she will see it immediately. There could be an hour or two go by before she is able to check her email only to find out that while she is going through the emails she has missed the opportunity to get back to you in time. I have missed potential clients due to the fact that I have had to go through so many emails that I have missed the window of opportunity of seeing the client that wants 'now'. And the fact that even when I have responded immediately I have not had a reply from the gentleman until hours later when I am not able to accomodate their needs.

My wife and I were swingers for many years and for the most part, they were all great experiences.
