i believe you can only get the sim cards once you are here. as for the best pay-as-you-go or prepaid, have a look at Wind and Mobilicity, both have unlimited everything (talk, text and data) and some with global text messages (wind) for 40 dollars and under per month. These two have coverages in every major city in Canada (Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver, but not Montreal and Halifax). Another one is Telus and i only pay 12 or so a month but at 30c/min voice and 15-20c/per text and not sure the data...this is a second phone. if you're in the city your best bet is Wind or Mobilicity on the cheap. if you need anything else, feel free to ask :)

Had my eye on Vanessa for awhile now and finally got a chance to meet her this month and glad i did! RG, you don't really need a CD player, just use your Galaxy Note to store music on. I use to have an mp3 player and now just use my phone. I can store music and stream on my phone if i like (make sure you have the data for streaming though). If you have music on your PC then simply drag and drop to the phone...even Itunes music, if you use it. All you would really need would be a speaker or maybe use the speakers on the TV and just require an audio cable.
