I agree with Craig that the proper thing to do is whatever the SP has asked you to do, no question. But that does lead me to a dilemma I've mused about occasionally (I hope this is still on-topic, not thread-hijacking). It's not uncommon to see SPs here (or elsewhere) say something to the effect of "no explicit talk". I get that, it seems sensible for a variety of reasons, among them that there are hobbyists who really only want to exploit the SPs time by engaging in explicit talk rather than really booking with her. So, yes, reasonable request. On the other hand, it is not uncommon in threads to see a hobbyist ask "does anyone know an SP in my area who will [explicit blank]", and the advice which is always given to such hobbyists - again, reasonably - is "find an SP who interests you and then ask her whether she will [explicit blank]". You see the dilemma: separately reasonable rules both of which can apply but lead to different results. What is the solution?

That sounds like a sensible decision, Maraena. Given all the effort you have put into researching and preparing, perhaps you should consider writing a letter to the editor of your local paper or others. Or if you are comfortable speaking and recording, offer to do a radio "Commentary" for Information Morning on the subject. I'm not trying to pressure you into becoming an unwilling spokesperson, but if you feel the urge to get those opinions out of you and into other people, you do have options.

You might ask them in advance what their goal is in talking to you. Sometimes they have a specific plan in mind - "let's interview someone from a group that supports the new law, and an expert who says it will endanger women, and someone in the industry". Maybe they are looking for a sex worker to say "Parliament does not understand the reality of sex work". Or maybe they want someone to say "I have been exploited all my life, thank heavens Parliament is helping me out". Or they might genuinely have no agenda from the start, but either way it could be worth trying to find out whether what you want to say is what they want to hear - it could matter. Also, take the lead from politicians and "stay on message". Decide what it is you want to say, and say it, no matter what. It makes no difference what their questions are, your answer should be the message you want to convey!

In the spirit of open discussion - why with no MM touching? I see what an MFF threesome adds to the mix, and I see what would be added to the mix in an MMFF foursome with MM touching, but I don't see what's added with no MM touching - for you, that is, I see what could be added for the FFs. I'm not suggesting blame on anyone's part, but there is a potentially useful object lesson here for everyone who is booking a hotel and has a rendezvous in mind. It's hard to deny, I think, that some hotels are easier than others to walk into unnoticed, and it would make sense to book at one where this is easy. I recently stayed at a hotel while on a trip, and had at least contemplated inviting a local SP to visit me. Had I known the physical layout in advance, I would certainly have booked at one of the many hotels into which it is easy to walk in unobserved. Actually, I think it would be a service to all (and especially to SPs) to engage in discussion (in the abstract only) about which hotels in any given locale do or do not lend themselves to anonymity. That would be unwise in cities so small that it amounts to saying "here is the only hotel SPs should stay at", but barring that unusual situation it would be a valuable resource.

In fact it was the point my questions were aimed at in the first place. I didn't, after all, ask "what does PSE mean?" My questions were what message SPs thought they were conveying if they said it, and what message hobbyists thought they were receiving if they heard it. My guess was that those were not always the same message: the discussion seems to confirm that.

I'm curious about the use of this term. When an SP says, for example, "greek" ( or for that matter "no greek") pretty much all of us understand. We have a shared understanding, and hobbyists are confident that they know exactly what message the SP was intending to convey. I wonder whether that's true of "PSE". Personally I am never sure what is meant by the term, and I don't think that is because there is a shared understanding out there of which I happen to be ignorant (though of course that is what I would think if I were ignorant of it, I suppose). In any case - Ladies, what message do you understand to be conveyed by an SP saying "porn star experience"? Gentlemen, what message do you think you are receiving when you hear "porn star experience"? (Please note this is not intended as a criticism of any SP for either using or not using this term. I'm just curious.)
