I use an image resizer app. I have an iPhone and downloaded a resizer on the App Store and just resize it to the specified size. Avatars are different and so are profile pictures. But you can change the size of a photo by using an image resizer very easily. That is how I have been uploading files. Hope this helps . The app I use is called Image Size.
