  1. Sometimes when I try to copy a picture into a thread, it won't allow the paste option (right click) and I am not sure what I am doing wrong.....I right clicked copy, then go to the thread and right click for paste, but it is not an option. Any help?
  2. Wow, that is absolutely stunning! I really don't know what to say!
  3. Thanks Hoffa. What I really meant to say is that if you only rely on BP and don't utilize the reviews on CERB, you are really missing out on some great resources. Those of us that utilize other sites to advertise rely on CERB as an anchor to help those that would like to see us, to find out more about who we are and what we like. Thank you Hoffa! Meaghan xoxo
  4. Thank you everyone for this wonderful greeting. Everyone had something really nice to say and it brought a great smile to me. I really appreciate everyone here and count the best wishes as a genuine great thing to have in my life! Had the best birthday in a long time. Made a $100 lasagna, and even bought a cake this year. I always bake my own, but this year decided to splurge. Hate to say it but their cake is better then any I have ever made. Love you all and hope everyone has a great day! Meaghan xoxo
  5. You mean I have to bring a beer AND bacon? No, I want to know what I can get for ONE BEER. Thank you
  6. Every sp is different. There are some that will only do incalls and occasionally outcalls to reputable hotels. There are others who will only do outcalls to either residence or hotels. There are those that provide all three options. For me, if my incall location is a rented studio used only for this business is my most favored option. I have a kitchen and its private. Doing an outcall to a residence is usually an option for me. I do have a screening procedure I follow for my safety. I suspect that if you are having a lady come to your residence, pick up on her ques on her screening procedure. If she has none, and will blindly come to your home, and if have no knowledge of who she is, I would be concerned too. However, once a call is finished, and there are no problems or issues, the name, address and phone number become a thing of the past and I would have no further contact with my client. That's the difference between a professional sp and someone who has other motives.
  7. Not sure if anyone has posted this yet, our very own Genevieve has the most amazing eyes I've seen in a while. Tried posting her pic but can't seem to get it to work.
  8. Hey boys, who's working today? Feeling like getting it on and wanna know what 1 beer will get me?
  9. Cristy, for those that have asthma, candles can bring on a full blown attack. I use the "non candles" now because of this. No danger of fires either. You might want to watch what type of candles you use. Do not use cheap candles. There is a real difference between quality candles and dollar store candles. xoxo
  10. Thanks. I am the type of customer that always gets the rental guy show me how to use any new tool. Thanks for the tip. I was not offended, just playful fun construction guy! No harm, now fowl.
  11. There is a difference between 2 friends going bungee jumping and someone getting hurt. As a friend, you are not charging them to go bungee jumping. However, if as a client, you are charging them a fee and you are going bungee jumping, and they get hurt, you are open to the possibility of being sued. So, it is best if you are going to be doing activities that have a potential for injury, get a waiver. Even is someone does sue you and they loose, you still end up paying a small fortune to protect any asset you might have. In this business, there is always the potential a client has a heart attack during a session. Unless you were doing something that clearly shows you are negligent in your actions (like cutting off their breathing tube), you are not likely to have someone sue you, however, they can sue you, so you always have to think of the possibility of being sued. Will they be successful? Probably not, but again, who wants to go through that? Just my two cents.
  12. Happy birthday. Another fellow Aries! Hope its a great one!
  13. Thanks woodchuck...I appreciate your points. This thread gave me incentive. I went home and moved all the spare lumber and drywall into the shed! At least its out of the home. Of course, I need to move onto the next step, but that will wait for a bit. As far as bartering, all in good fun. After all, my services are more then a carpenters services are..... Again, thanks for the tips on nail guns. I would probably like them because I love my impact drill and table saw. Hate the circular saw. That's an evil tool in my eyes. As far as the mudding, yes tools do make a difference. The guy who was helping me (its his trade) asked me if I bought my trowel at the dollar store, and my reply was "actually it was free with the polyfiller I bought years ago". I was not using polyfiller for this job, but I thought hey, it looks like a trowel, may as well use it. I will buy a proper trowel when I get to work again! Of course, you can imagine his thoughts on using the crappy trowel. Thanks! xoxo
  14. Sending out best wishes and prayers in your recovery. Take care of yourself, do what the doc's tell you and get better soon! xoxo Meaghan
  15. I always chuckle when people ask me if I work out. Of course I do, the best workout on the planet.
  16. I know, the guy who came in to finish my mudding kept making fun of my work. All in good fun, but none the less, ..... Thought about renting a nailer, but the trim work is up next to the ceiling, and I hate holding tools over my head. I have a nasty habit of dropping them on my head. One thing I learned this summer while putting the siding up "never leave the hammer on the top rung of the ladder". Of course I didn't actually learn this lesson and had a number of eggs on my head.
  17. Hint of black stockings and gonna buy some beer so I can take the night off!
  18. ok, it seems no one wants to play this with me. So I will now play with myself! Scream and Shout Brittney and Will I Am I wanna scream and shout, and let it all out And scream and shout, and let it out We saying, oh wee oh wee oh wee oh wee oh We saying, oh wee oh wee oh wee oh wee oh I wanna scream and shout, and let it all out And scream and shout, and let it out We saying, oh wee oh wee oh wee oh wee oh You are now rocking with Will.i.am and Britney, bitch
  19. How do I get the motivation to finish the project I started? I needed to insulate my place. I don't have enough to pay someone to actually do it for me, so I did it myself. So, the insulation is done, the drywall is done. My crappy mudding and taping is there, but I really suck at that. I did get someone in who said he would do it for me (I told him I would pay him), but he ended up going back to work before it was finished, and now it sits in limbo. I could bite the bullet and get someone in to finish it, but man, I really wanted to be able to say "hey I did it myself". Of course, I always seem to be working and once I am home way too beat to start. I know once I start, I can finish. Its just getting started. I also need someone who is a good carpenter to finish the trim. I hate hammers and nails (love drywall guns), so will get someone to do that for me. It looks so much more fun on tv.
