roamingguy 300292 Report post Posted January 21, 2012 I've come to realize in the past few years that what most people consider things necessary to happiness and feelings of acomplishment, not just for their lives but everyone's life (marriage, or relationship, home, kids etc) are not right for me. I'm single unattached, rent, no kids. It's still nice to have money, but it should not be the central focus of life. It seems most people are in some kind of race, stressing themselves out to acquire more of this or more of that; huge McMansions; trophy wives; uniformed private schooled kids; fancy cars; investments; you know, all the status trappings.
