BP vs ECand the erb boards

Recommended Posts

Is it just me or have other ladies notice the difference between BP and EC / cerb/perb?

As a few gentlemen that I have opened up to a little as well as a few SP's know about some big life changes I have been making and the circumstances regarding that. Hence I rarely partake in this endeavor , but when I do i usually just find it easy to poat a quick ad on BP.

Most of the time it turns out to be a huge mistake and i usually get un desirable people that i would like to avoid. Basically it is not a good idea for me to post on there.

I have however found a few great guys on there, but they are also guys that are from the boards.

Im feeling like i should just go back to posting on here ans leave BP alone.

I dont know ? Am i just being to picky or un reasonable?

Additional Comments:

Also I apologize for the horrible spelling. Its my phone.

You are not the only one who feels this way. You are not being picky or unreasonable because ultimately you have to do what is best for you. If it doesn't feel right then it means it's not for you. Always trust your instincts in this business. They never fail you.

I feel the same way. Most here know of my dislike for BP. I've tried advertising there a few times and didn't like the clientele. Mostly low ballers, students who not want but expect a deal for 10 minutes. I have 20 year olds telling me my rates are too high and they can go get service for x amount as if they know everything.. Well why are they still talking to me? lol.

I'm offering an experience, not a 5 minute bj that they seem to so desperately want. Then if I quote a rate for whatever length of time, they want to know the rate for a particular act.

I'm an established SP. Granted, I'm not 20 years old but I believe that experience counts for something and some people appreciate that I take the time and effort for my clients. I'm sure there are some good SPs on BP but it's just not for me and I haven't had luck with it.

The business has changed and while I have great regulars who appreciate spending quality time with me, I won't lie and say the thought of semi- retiring comes to mind. I don't like the direction the business has taken and I don't like being treated as though I'm someone who is a revolving door who just performs specific acts all day long.

I see 1-2 clients a day since I have other things that pre-occupy my time. I have also moved over more into massage than escorting and it's something that I enjoy and that I'm good at. I am considering approaching that avenue in a professional manner.

BP strikes me as one of those sites where some of the men (not all) who use the site as a get in and get out type transaction with minimal except for finishing to completion. Fast, quick and easy.

What happened to the experience of being with an SP? It's just not there anymore and I'm not going to change how I conduct my business because people expect me to do 15 minute appts because other ladies are. That's their perogative and that's how they run their business. However, it doesn't mean that I have to just because someone else is doing it. The customer is not always right.

For every 10 callers on BP, there was one decent client but in my experience that was also a long shot. I don't want to pay $12 USD EVERY SINGLE DAY to deal with some people who have no regard for me, that are rude, don't care for what I offer and only what is best for them.

I've even had pimps try to contact me and other shady people trying to solicit their illegal business through the ladies on BP under the guise of being a client. I didn't sign up for that. There has to be a mutual respect and I certainly wasn't getting that vibe. I'd rather get a root canal 10 times over than deal with that. I can't tell you how many times I advertised on BP and wanted to rip my hair out that day.

I have met many great clients on Cerb and there is more of an appreciation towards the service provider. And it's sad because most of what has been negatively said about sex workers regarding the new proposed legislation is in relation to sites like BP where it doesn't take much for someone to take a few pictures, with a cell phone number and call themselves a service provider. They don't take into consideration the community that is here and not some site where names and faces change on a regular basis.

Oh yeah, BP is an entirely different demographic!

You never heard of "blow 'n go" until BP came along! Quick, easy, anonymous vs the more intimate and time consuming GFE.

I refuse to use BP as I have had several unfavourable experiences, the only time I will use it is if there is a very well reviewed lady on there but I am sure it's 100 times worse for you ladies.

In Winnipeg, the best clients have always come from the boards. Plenty of fun generous men on I here. (Thanks)

However bp is not that creepy everywhere. If your traveling you may need that broader audience. I find that If the quality of sp advertising is good, it's usually an indicator of good client potential.

Cheers :-)

Guest b***a*

I think someone needs to create an new app. Where you need to have so many posts or so many god reviews. More of a "live" style for many like me, who cannot give a specific time and need more of a momments notice.

I do agree. I never have a problem in the other cities when it comes to BP. Actually even when I post in the Winnipeg section regarding Brandon tours , I've had great experiences. Maybe it is just Winnipeg. Like i said before, all the nice guys were board guys anyway

Omfg lmao!!! , sorry I don't mean swear , but that's funny. That just made my day . ' The onion'.

Additional Comments:

Gave it some thought. I think I'm oing to advertise on the boards and when I have more if an idea of when I'm going to commit to this again EC. BP is too risky and not a great idea for me at this point.

Thanks to you all for taking the time to give me your feed back and opinions on this. It helped me alot because this was weighing on my mind. Thanks everyone.

P.S that onion comment was my fav. Priceless. Still laughing.

Some of the scams are really obvious and people who frequent boards like this can spot them. There are also lots of crafty ones that are criminal and I feel for the guys that fall for those. Not everyone reads these boards.

whenever I meet a gentlemen "gem" from bp, I make a point of telling them about the boards and ec. So many don't know that recommendation boards exist!

My rule of thumb is, if she advertises exclusively on BP, avoid her. If she advertises on BP and also a reputable source such as CERB, EC and/or P**B, then she's probably OK and may warrant my attention.

I am slowly moving away from BP. I do get some gems there, however some not so nice ones too. Here in the maritimes, we don't have a lot of choices. However, I now have enough regulars that know how to reach me. I just wish more gents know about cerb. I tell everyone about this site so hopefully more will join.

When I first went indy, I didn't even know about BP. Only Craigslist and I hated that site.

I don't see a lot of gents, and for me, cerb is enough. I will still keep a BP ad, just don't bump it up all the time.

Great to bring the gems to the boards. both sp and hobbiests

I like to check bp out but now I put a lot more thought into who I c.

I imagine that it is a lot harder for the sp to be picky.

I see some service providers ask for references.

I have never got a reference to see a sp.

It certainly has hindered me from seeing those who request it as I felt awkward requesting the reference. I could c myself getting over that awkwardness if I really wanted to see a particular sp.

So might be a good method

This absolutely baffles me.

A guy who wants to buy a BluRay player will google it, look on a bunch of audio-video boards, ask all his friends and so on before buying it. But they don't think to look for reviews of escorts? It's such an obvious thing to do but so few do it?

Just another case of guys being meticulous and rational with one head and complete idiots when the other one takes over.

Maybe the 'erb and baby cow boards need to advertise on CL and BP...

No cause then it will bring the girls who are out there to rip you guys off on here. Plus there is a few that get guys to rob hobbyists . That is horrible.

I advertise on both, as well as here. I try to make a point of asking clients where they found my ad and most of the time it is bp and they just made the decision from there. If I was spending money to see a companion I would do more homework than that!

There must be so many men out there getting ripped off or getting poor service.

You are so right.

I've actually thought of putting an ad on BP with an email, offering guys to contact me for details on ladies they are thinking of seeing. That way I can direct the guys who are not aware of CERB or the other boards to them, in hopes of starting to weed out the poor providers who prey on these poor fools.

I know 2 local and highly regarded providers who both use EC, one of them uses both EC and BP and advertise no where else. Neither see any reason or benefit in advertising or participating on Cerb or the other erb.

Peace

All of my best clients are CERB guys ;)

BP did not work well for me at all since most of the men, not all - but most are looking for everything and anything at the most cost effective price-and the bs filled text messages that follow-such an annoyance.

I can honestly say I met 2 nice guys from BP. I refuse to give any money to that mismanaged site that also has the worst customer service EVER.

I find the other prairie erb board to be a bit ridiculous, an SP can't even comment on there unless they are paid. I made a comment about a review I received (not self promotion, just responses to their concerns with service). Then other members made comments regarding their own experiences and they deleted everything.

Just as this board only allows recommendations, the other board only allows paid SPs to speak their voice. Kind of ridiculous to me. Anybody can go say anything on that board, true or not, and the SP can't even defend herself unless she pays a fee.

Just my 2 cents

Like any researcher, you have to review as many sources as possible and make a judgement on that. A single source is always susceptible to error. Numerous samples from numerous sources are more likely to represent an accurate image.

An odd negative review of someone who is usually highly regarded can be discarded as an outlier. Same for suspiciously over-enthusiastic reports.

Getting into a debate with someone over a review should be done with great trepidation. The risks are assymetrical, the poster has little or nothing to lose, but the SP can end up severely tarnishing her reputation.

Look in the lounge on the other board and it is easy to spot the guys with anti SP agendas. Nobody takes such obvious trolls seriously.
