3 pointsYou know what works with the ladies, really works...I'll give you a secret I'm pushing 50, bald, tall but middle age spread...but foolproof way to avoid being rejected BE A GENTLEMAN, and treat the SP LIKE A LADY...that is the most important quality to have. Second, be clean, good hygiene is a must. Most ladies want to see a gentleman RG

2 pointsHello Cerb..!! I would like to have your opinion about a subject that I would like to share with you for a long moment. I know that a similar thread has been do in another forum from another province but I thought it was important to make one for Ottawa. I have been solicited, Im sure Im not the only one, for ''only this service'' and not being offered the respect for my time or sessions. As well, the fact of underpricing, cutting price for these '' onlys''. There's a lot of users who asked me ''Whats your rate only for a BJ'' or ''I want one hour but not intercourse...'' Maybe Im wrong, but I dont see a difference between having intercourse or not in my session. So, what happen to our time?? Why ''just'' a BJ doesnt worth the same thing than intercourse ???? Probably some girls offering a '' BJ price '' and I respect that but some users have to respect girls who doesnt. I think that we are not offering ''just this'' or ''that service'' but a COMPLETE service even if you are SP or MA. Should we reduce our rates but start to ask extra for everything?? If you want to kiss here, its +x$... if you want to touch here its +x$... sounds ridiculous no? I think its the same thing for us when we are solicited like this. Maybe Im wrong, so that is why I asked for you opinion and I think we need to talk about it if we want to inform new users. Ps: Sorry For my english..... ;)

2 pointsToday is our day. Through my life I have had the pleasure of meeting great women and during my time on cerb (mostly through posts) I have learned a bit from great women too so ...

2 pointsI am a bit mixed on this, I agree with Rebecca in that she does not need to negotiate her price, particularly since she has pretty much a full service menu, at a single price. So, she can easily answer any question about limited service and less price. Clearly, no, I offer a single service for my time, at a single price. However, with all the ladies that offer mutliple menus, multiple prices for different menus, it is easy to understand why someone would think it is not inappropriate to inquire if there are different prices for different services, many of the other SPs, offer such. That said, once the answer is "NO", that should be the end of it, no further discussion, period. So, if the concern is the inquiry, I would say that should not be surprising. If the concern is that the person still wants to negotiate beyond the clear answer, then that is when the person has crossed the line of being reasonable.

2 pointsi pay my accountant by the hour - i pay my lawyer by the hour -i pay my house cleaner by the hour- all professionals -why would your services be any different- except more enjoyable
-
1 pointi believe in canada you have to negotiate for the sp's time not what service she provides other wise it is soliciatation and illegal. But no sp should have to negotate for their time. if you can't afford her go rent a porn.

1 pointWhen I dipped my toe into this world for the first time, I, too, made the mistake of thinking that asking for less than FS would cost less. After all, a steak is more expensive than a hamburger! (how dumb i was)... I made a couple of inquiries and received a couple of curt, almost rude responses, basically telling me to buzz off. I didn't know then that this was something that happened often (men trying to bargain) and that it was quite offensive to the ladies in question. And then finally, one provider took the time to explain things to me.... that the requested donation levels were firm, that the donations were for time and not services, the concept of YMMV, etc... She was polite, caring, and really took the time to ensure that I understood why things were the way they were. Of course, once all had been explained, I was mortified at how I must have sounded and how disrespectful those ladies must have thought I was. I am not saying that an outright "buzz off" is not an option, or that the ladies have any responsibility to take the time to explain things to every guy that sends a text or email. But I did want to tell the story because this particular lady is the reason I was finally able to take the plunge and set up a date. Not everyone comes into this hobby with an enlightened mind... but that doesn't make them cavemen or idiots. CERB members are immersed (at least for a time) in this world and have come to know how things work. It's not every guy that gets it at first. I will always be grateful to the lady who was so patient with me and who took the time to teach me a bit about the etiquette of being a client.

1 pointChinamart doesn't play fair trade. Walmart doesn't make anything, just buy and sell. I'm sure the Chinese love them. The Chinese know that manufacturing is key to a countrys future strength, and saturating/undercutting markets destroys the competiton. But, we "Americans" think short term gain, the bargain. Someday we will All be so poor, we can"t afford to shop anywhere else ? Is that the Walmart plan ? We could save a lot of money on education, like, how smart do you have to be to stock shelves ? Was in Can Tire the other day (yes another company selling truck loads of Chinese "dumping"). Oh, look, a set of wrenches for $10. But now I don't really need them, because the good paying job I Had, has disappeared, due to Chinese imports ! Gravity, what can you do ? http://www.fastcompany.com/magazine/77/walmart.html "Indeed, as Vlasic discovered, the real story of Wal-Mart, the story that never gets told, is the story of the pressure the biggest retailer relentlessly applies to its suppliers in the name of bringing us "every day low prices." It's the story of what that pressure does to the companies Wal-Mart does business with, to U.S. manufacturing, and to the economy as a whole. That story can be found floating in a gallon jar of pickles at Wal-Mart." "Wal-Mart has the power to squeeze profit-killing concessions from vendors" "People ask, 'How can it be bad for things to come into the U.S. cheaply? How can it be bad to have a bargain at Wal-Mart?' Sure, it's held inflation down, and it's great to have bargains," says Dobbins. "But you can't buy anything if you're not employed. We are shopping ourselves out of jobs."

1 pointGreen Article from San Leandro Times It's All About the Green Thing In the line at the store, the cashier told the older woman that plastic bags weren't good for the environment. The woman apologized to her and explained, "We didn't have the green thing back in my day." That's right, they didn't have the green thing in her day. Back then, they returned their milk bottles, Coke bottles and beer bottles to the store. The store sent them back to the plant to be washed and sterilized and refilled, using the same bottles over and over. So they really were recycled. But they didn't have the green thing back in her day. In her day, they walked up stairs, because they didn't have an escalator in every store and office building. They walked to the grocery store and didn't climb into a 300-horsepower machine every time they had to go two blocks. But she's right. They didn't have the green thing in her day. Back then, they washed the baby's diapers because they didn't have the throw-away kind. They dried clothes on a line, not in an energy gobbling machine burning up 220 volts - wind and solar power really did dry the clothes. Kids got hand-me-down clothes from their brothers or sisters, not always brand-new clothing. But that old lady is right, they didn't have the green thing back in her day. Back then, they had one TV, or radio, in the house - not a TV in every room. And the TV had a small screen the size of a pizza dish, not a screen the size of the state of Montana. In the kitchen, they blended and stirred by hand because they didn't have electric machines to do everything for you. When they packaged a fragile item to send in the mail, they used wadded up newspaper to cushion it, not Styrofoam or plastic bubble wrap. Back then, they didn't fire up an engine and burn gasoline just to cut the lawn. They used a push mower that ran on human power. They exercised by working so they didn't need to go to a health club to run on treadmills that operate on electricity. But she's right, they didn't have the green thing back then. They drank from a fountain when they were thirsty, instead of using a cup or a plastic bottle every time they had a drink of water. They refilled pens with ink, instead of buying a new pen, and they replaced the razor blades in a razor instead of throwing away the whole razor just because the blade got dull. But they didn't have the green thing back then. Back then, people took the streetcar and kids rode their bikes to school or rode the school bus, instead of turning their moms into a 24-hour taxi service. They had one electrical outlet in a room, not an entire bank of sockets to power a dozen appliances. And they didn't need a computerized gadget to receive a signal beamed from satellites 2,000 miles out in space in order to find the nearest pizza joint. But that old lady is right. They didn't have the green thing back in her day.

1 pointIt really comes down to trust. If I am going to give you my location, I expect something in return. While I prefer a verifiable cell number, I will obviously trust you if you call from your residence. I mean, really, why would I disclose my location to someone who cannot trust me enough to cough up a bit of personal info? I am not asking for your life story; just an assurance that you are not LE, a psycho or someone likely to waste my time. I don't really fathom the idea that someone who will no show on me has knowledge of my whereabouts. Dear OP...it comes down to a matter of trust and in these times, cell phones are the norm and therefor you can not fault us for using them as our safety net :)
-
1 pointIn all my time of giving out my number, in no account has a SP or MA ever contacted me without me contacting her first. And, because it is my work related cell number, I ask for discretion to the MA or SP to text/call me only during these hours,as I might be in a meeting or with a client. I know that due dilligence is used by 99.9% of the ladies here, so I'm not worried about my number, and I don't think the married men need to freak out about what is stated, in the thread prior to mine. And yes cell phones are required, how the heck are you going know the room number at the Hotel,(Oh excuse Mr.Bellhop I'm looking for Ms. XXX she is 5'8'' blonde, 36dd's,24-36 have you seen her or you know what room she is in? ;) ) or apartment buzz number then actual apartment,or house number.

1 pointAll good points, but for those ladies that want to offer a price list for each and every option I suggest something like this:
-
1 pointI agree with you 100% Rebecca. There was another thread that outlined the same problem and it's very irritating to say the least. There are members that do not take the time to look at our profiles, our services, if we are all inclusive or if we are even an SP or MP!! The fact is, we are spending time with you and these "only ???" solicitation requests are very disrespectful. Some of the ladies do offer a single service but a few are too lazy to look and start soliciting everyone it seems to get what they want. At the very least, it's not attractive or makes a lady feel good to ask for these things before you have even met or have taken the time to check out her services and reviews. It's very tacky, cheap and undercutting. Mod has been great handling these types.... Bad apples everywhere and I now just shut them down if they do. They'll get it sooner or later I hope!

1 pointI don't think anyone would want otherwise! Who in their right mind wants to see a provider that is grumpy or cold? I try to be positive in general everywhere I go. I chat with and get to know my teller(s) at the bank or my grocery clerk each time I go in with friendly banter. I wouldn't go back to a hairdresser who was in her own world and paying no attention to me other than the hair itself. I banter with my physician, mechanic, etc. If you are like this all the time you will have better connections everywhere and deep down that is what all people desire. It's important every where you go in my opinion to make connections with other humans.. and all the more so with this job. It's the most important connection I realize for men who are vulnerable when they come to see us... so I strive even more to make this an easy transition from whatever job or situation in their lives they've just come from to being with an old friend, an old girlfriend or a mistress who can soothe them for an hour and make them leave with a smile on their face.
