To get things more confusing ( ;-) ) on what (or where) is where in the country I'll just throw in a french quote from one of Quebec's great singer-songwriters (Gilles Vigneault): "Mon pays, ce n'est pas un pays, c'est l'hiver" Translated, it goes : "My country isn't a country, it's Winter" :-) But yes, the terminology can get confusing as all is relative to where we live as well.

I'll add to the chorus of frustration. Of course, Central Canada properly is Manitoba ... since Winnipeg is virtually in the geographic center of the country. But it does irk me to hear Ontario and Quebec referred to as Eastern Canada. I think, however, it may be a politically correct reaction against that part of the country calling itself Central Canada, as in the center of it all. Still, the Maritimes and Atlantic Canada need to make a return to our geographic lexicon. Porthos

This used to be my favorite club when I wanted to dance all night long! For many of us working in offices, we produce work by a due date. But for those of us working in Ottawa, the term "Deadline" is often used to all sauces. But what is really a "Deadline"? The true origin of the word Deadline seems to be debated, but it first appeared in 1864 in the States, in a report about a military prison made by Col. D. T. While today, the word should be used to express a date by which, if we miss it, has dire results: failing a class, not getting a diploma, loss of revenue if we don't submit a contract or a bill in time, etc... Of course, where i work, it's all deadlines with no real dire results ... so few deadlines and a lot of due dates ..... :-)

Ah, Montreal, Montreal. They say Montreal is a woman: sexy, classy, sensual Montreal is well know for its restaurants and you can eat well at all prices: For a firstimer in Montreal, "Swartz" on St Laurent, the best smoke meat worldwide. It's a kind of diner, always crowdy, but the smoke meat...mmmm Italian cuisine: there are a lot in "Petite Italie" near Jean-Talon blvd and St-Laurent, I would suggest "The Tre Marie", its on St-Urbain Street. Very tasty, and the gnocchis are a blessing. And have a look at the well renown Jean-Talon Market, just to walk around is a pleasure for the senses. French cuisine: "Chez Levesque", on Laurier Street, bistro type cuisine, not cheap though. Nice choice of wine. For shopping, a lot of choices and obviously St-Catherine Street downtown. If you want to experience a bit of "chic", Laurier Street west, small designers boutiques, pastry shops, etc, a place where we say "it's bcbg ( bon chic bon genre) For alternative setting, and for some shows, I support the suggestion already made by Castle, "The foufounes electriques", a music bar where you will always be surprised. Breakfast dining is also a nice way to see Montrealers in their natural setting. Many good places for a more refined breakfast than eggs and bacon. I suggest the "Restaurant l'Enchanteur" on de Castelnau (not too far from Petite Italie): eggs benedict, full of fresh fruits, café au lait, crepes Have a ball in Montreal.

Montreal is such a great city especially for shopping, I haven't been there in a while but I always loved browns shoes and felix brown shoe store.There are some great shops in westmount square . Also, the night life, and all the great places to eat. I'll have to go soon thinking about it makes me miss it, one of Canada's sexiest cities!

thinking of doing a drive for the needy before the cold weather hits ... and offering a small reduction in rate for those who bring me a new pair of mitts, a hat or scarf for donation to the Salvation Army. QUESTION : Is it a huge pain in the arse to find / bring a donation like this to an appointment? Is it something you wouldn't bother with, or would it set of red flags with your SO etc ...? C'mon guys. Your a little over the top here. She used the expression "retarded," she didn't use the noun. Do you think it is by chance that I who live in such a small town has maintained my discretion and safety? NO !!! It is from being diligent in screening clients, as to know who they are, to know that they have nothing they are not hiding from me! If you are asking to visit me, or my ladies at MY location, should I give that trust to you when you are not willing to trust me with a phone number? These are the reasons hobbyist give me: How do I know you wont call my phone and blackmail me? ANSWER: I built my business for 5 years, why would I jeopardies my reputation with something like that? PRIVACY is paramount to my industry! And if you are so worried, go get a pre paid phone for just this hobby, hide it from your spouse! How do I know your not a set up?
