You are not over-reacting. There is enormous pressure on paid companions at every price point to provide bareback full service (BBFS). Many of us have been talking about this all fall and winter. We're concerned about the women who are being pressured into it for fear of having fewer clients. I think it began with the trend to pressure women into providing uncovered BJs. Many companions believe this isn't safe. Others are willing to take the risks, since HIV is not associated with it because the HIV virus is too fragile to live in a human throat. However, there is a new strain of gonorrhea that isn't curable and gonorrhea will live very happily in the throat, undetected, for months or more. Some companions offer bbbjs but not to completion, or they don't swallow. Everyone makes decisions based on her assessment of the risks, including the prevalence of particular infections in her city. But full service is a completely different matter. In Vancouver, it's available from a lot of street-based workers. My understanding is that it's an option in some of the Asian micro-brothels where the ladies have come in to work for a few months. I don't know why people think this is safe. It makes no sense to me. But I have had prospective clients offer me two or three times my hourly rate or more to accommodate them. I'm sure that they will eventually find someone who will agree to it. I work to support myself and my family. To take care of our lives. I won't put my life at risk!

Fear-mongering is NEVER helpful. While I don't want to get into a long discussion of the law, since several of us have done it extensively, many times, in other threads, I also don't want to leave some things hanging, here, because the misconceptions aren't tolerable and we never know when someone will read this thread later. So, I'll go through this quickly. We have a forum for legal questions, cases and decisions. The laws and their current status is explained in simple, clear language there. Read it! The likelihood that a client will be robbed if he sees an independent paid companion at her incall location is miniscule if he's seeing a well-recommended, reputable lady. If he's bargain-hunting on BP, CL and other free or cheap sites, he's taking risks. Buyer beware! Anytime something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Cut-rate prices can cost a lot. Paying a premium to a reputable paid companion will ensure your safety, security and confidentiality. Incalls are technically illegal, it's true, but it's also true that, until the Supreme Court of Canada makes its decisions about the prostitution laws, which will probably happen in 2015, no one is being charged with operating a bawdy house as long as she's working quietly, not creating a nuisance in the neighbourhood or disturbing the public. The police and judiciary are not entertaining bawdy house charges because there is a strong likelihood that the laws will be overturned. If someone were to be charged and/or convicted, the charges would probably be dropped and the convictions nullified by a change in the law. It's simply not worth the considerable time and expense. However, the bawdy house law is not about operating a permanent residence for the purpose of prostitution. It's about habitually engaging in prostitution anywhere, including a hotel room. "Habitual" means seeing several clients. It's perfectly okay for a prostitute or any woman to have sex with someone in her home or hotel room. If she's being paid for her time, seeing just one client is also okay. Problems arise when she sees several clients. It is absolutely legal to invite a prostitute to your home or hotel room and to pay her for her time, including sexual activities. In terms of safety, the safest thing for the SP is to operate a discrete incall location where she controls things like who may enter, what they may do when they're there and her access to emergency services if required. The next-safest thing is to engage in outcalls in reputable hotels--4 and 5-star hotels--where hotel security gives her a measure of protection. Women who do these outcalls are wise to check the room, the bathroom, the closets and the locks on doors to any adjoining rooms to ensure that no one else can arrive unexpectedly. Most independent ladies do not offer outcalls to private residences when they don't know the client because they are much less safe than a place the lady controls herself. At a strange house, she may not know where all the entrances and exits are and she may be surprised by other people arriving unexpectedly. Escort agencies frequently arrange outcalls to private homes, but they also provide drivers and they record the address to which the lady is going. Part of her security, then, is that she's not the only person who knows where she is: others are also looking out for her. Communicating in public is illegal. Cars are considered to be public places, which is why car dates are also illegal. There is nothing about these laws that is difficult to understand, nor are they full of loopholes. You cannot discuss exchanging sexual activities for money in a public place, period. You cannot engage in sex in a public place, either. Street-based sex workers are in compromising circumstances because they have to have these public discussions. But not only is it illegal for a sex worker to approach someone on the street or at an intersection and offer sex for money, it's also illegal for an ordinary person to approach someone on the street and offer to pay them for sex. Independent paid companions who work indoors are not a significant source of sexually-transmissible infection. We are sexual health experts. We know that the great majority of our clients have never been tested for any kind of sexually transmissible infection, yet they may be the unknowing source of these diseases which they may have contracted from girlfriends, wives and other partners with whom they have engaged in unprotected sexual activities. You can trust us to know what the risks are and to protect our own health as well as yours. The principal issue in this thread, from the outset, has been engaging with underage SPs. This is absolutely, completely illegal. There is no excuse for doing it under any circumstances. If you don't know the age of the SP you're seeing, that's a problem. Presuming that she's a legal adult may be foolish because the laws related to consent will not allow you to wriggle around and claim you didn't know this was an underage person or a child. Ask for identification if there's the slightest doubt about her age. If she's underage, you have a legal and moral obligation to report what's going on to the authorities and you can do so without fear of being prosecuted yourself as long as you did not engage in sexual acts with her.

You do not have to feel shallow over the fact that you prefer younger ladies at all. WE all have our turn on's and preferences with our sexuality. However, an older SP in er 30's may have the experience that will help guide you through your date, in a more relaxed and confident manner. BUT there are many younger SP's that also have these qualities. Most of my clients have been older men, even when I was a young SP. I just feel more comfortable with an older man. Are you comfortable with interacting in conversation? Is she going to give you the kind of service you are looking for? If all of these are yes, then I say take the plunge! Then you will know for sure. It is the same on our end, although I typically will see older men, if a younger man contacts me, and seems to ave the kind of manners and etiquette that I look for in a date, then I will gladly book with him. It really all depends on how the person interacts with me on that initial contact. Then if he was a pleasure to spend time with I will book him again, if not then I simply decline his offer. BUT YOU DON'T have to feel ashamed or like there is anything wrong with what your preferences are as long as you are respectful to who ever your with.

Hi Everybody! I don't know if I'm too much of a newbie to start a thread, especially one on such a strong subject but it's one that I feel very strongly about: BBFS in the Hobby, I don't get how anyone can justify it. Browsing other boards that are, lets say, less politically correct than this one I see an increasing amount of talk around either more and more SPs offering BBFS ... one post even had a link to a BP ad near TO where the SP has it listed in her extras!! ... or johns asking for it, sometimes very aggressively according to some ladies. It seems prevalent enough that they even started a board dedicated to the pursuit of this dangerous activity!! (I won't promote it here) Unless I'm really behind the times and some new miracle cure as been invented for all STDs isn't this pretty much the most dangerous activity to experiment in? This thread caught my eye because of the word"discerning". A word I often use in my ads to describe the type of men I want to attract "men with discerning tastes". I understand the word to mean having good judgement, good taste, wanting better. Perhaps I'm wrong maybe when you seek a particular age group perhaps that makes you discerning as well,? watching my son's swearing in ceremony for Canada's military a little while ago

I am a Semi- new Saint Johner. I moved here 4 years ago from Halifax and I have had no regrets what so ever. I would never move back and that's saying a lot as I was born and raised in Halifax. I love it here, I feel safer here for myself and children. The people here are amazing and of course there are a few bad apples but isn't there everywhere?? I have never seen this town in my eyes as industrial, I live in the uptown are and think it is beautiful in the summer and winter. If you take the time to be involved in your surrounding there is even more beauty. As a SP here in Saint John I have good weeks and bad weeks as I am sure happens everywhere. I however do know it is disappointing when you visit a city and there is little business and it does come out of your pocket for the trip but that's a gamble in this business. I understand some trips people make are last minute but I'm sure if the effort is put to well planning and giving as much notice as possible and asking hobbyists to book ahead of your trip, that could give you a good idea if is worth your time and cost to travel (not saying all booked appointments will show but the gentlemen here on CERB are awesome). Also if one trips turns out to not be so worth it, don't let that stop you from going back as things could be very different your next visit.

Coming back to CERB after a wee respite and feeling the love. Sometimes you need to go away for a bit to realize just how good it feels at home.

Don't ever feel bad about what attracts you. Your decision to pursue younger woman is understandable. You do ask, do younger sp's see more clients? That really depends on their reputation, goals and traits. I know of many many mature sp's who work more clients then the younger ones, because they have more experience and knowledge of the industry. The one real difference I see is that the the mature ladies are more selective in the clients we do see. I don't want to see 10 guys a day for 15 minutes each. My preference is to see 1 quality friend versus the McDonalds mentality of mass. The younger sp might not understand that yet and will book every client that contacts her. It's as dangerous as you think. It's a lot like a client saying to an SP, "hey, can I draw some of my blood with this needle and inject it into your veins during our session? Don't worry, I'm totally clean." It's a ridiculously stupid, reckless, and insulting thing to expect. I think there are two things going on here: a) the client may genuinely feel like sex with a condom just isn't the same and he really wants the full unprotected thing (and he's a complete idiot, ignorant or for some reason indifferent to the obvious risks to health and life for both involved) b) the client wants to prove he can force his will past the woman's sensible boundaries; essentially proving "my money puts me in charge and you will deny me nothing I want". Incall is illegal from my understanding. Canadian law considers that maintaining a permanant residence for the purpose of prostitution. Outcall is perfectly legal. Communicating in public about arranging a meet is not legal (I believe) including talking in a car so streetwalkers are an illegal practice. On the same subject the "car-dates" that sometimes get advertised on BP or CL are illegal for those same reasons and for the public indecency charge that goes along with them. Canadian law is difficult to navigate on this subject because the laws are outdated and filled with grey areas, loopholes and as a result they're a minefield for the unwary. My advice on the whole matter to a new hobbiest would be to stay here and pick from the CERB ladies. The women (and men) here are serious about the business, enjoy what they do, are FAR less likely to have drug, disease or drama complications and will definitely leave you feeling happy, satisfied and fulfilled. Other sources of hobbying might not have quite the track record for positivity that you can find here.

Some may think my statement harsh but if you know you are dealing with a 16 yr old you deserve prosecution, thats a child. In my opinion 18 is to young, but thats just me. I find some of these forums a bit amusing. Personally, my preferences vary depending on my mood, how much time and/or money I have. That said, reputable agents that will do the work (marketing, answering phones lines 24/7 with you as one of those ladies, totally dedicated to booking you calls and making both of you $$$) are the best way to go for a lady who is either first starting out/ wants to get a better understanding of the sex trade as a legitimate trade/ doesn't want to spend all that time on marketing and booking .............. etc An agent would be a perfect fit for a girl who wants to just do the job, and not the business end of things. For one it's extra strain on both you and ur agents part that someone is gonna have to communicate between the agents that you have a booking with the other. This is like insider trading almost right? Probs not good juju. Also if you find someone who will take care of your image and is dedicated to making anyone they represent money it only seems right to respect that business partnership. Your in total control of how you are marketed, who you see, your hours become much more flexible; but the down side is that..... Being an independent I work about 6-8months out of the year because of all the work that goes into it. Mind you, I go in putting on a production lol, so I put that much into it. Again as an independent you have the freedom to do as you please. I would on suggest that you make sure you have some experience before going solo and feel free to msg any of us active girls here on the general boards for help. I think Vanessa gave you a good advice. In addition if he threatens to call the police, remind him that he has to explain to the police why he is there himself. It is criminal to be found in a bawdy house if he is in the hotel room that he claims to be one. Not to mention blackmail.

I don't think that constitutes a viable threat any longer. Law enforcement has really no interest as any applicable laws that would make what the lady is doing illegal have twice been declared a charter violation and they have no need to make it three times, added to this where is the evidence? While the blackmailer could attest to one visit that is all, the ladies location has to be used for that purpose more than once to be 'common'. The hotel appreciates the lady's business, she is their paying guest. So I don't think anyone would be interested in hearing what the 'rat' had to say :)

I think a lot of it boils down to respect as well. As with any other aspect of life, if you treat people with respect, you're more likely to be respected back. As clients we are just as responsible as the ladies we spend time with for how much we both an encounter. Again as with anything in life, you get out what you put in. If your only goal is to get in and get off then you're not only disrespecting your partner, you're severely limiting your own enjoyment in what could be a fabulous experience.
