I've posted this poem a couple of times in posts before, it means a lot and the words say it all..... A smile costs nothing, but gives much- It takes but a moment, but the memory of it usually lasts forever. I was trotting into the grocery store recently and a gentleman was on his way out. I can't remember what was on my mind but it had me smiling...so when he looked at me and I gave him the biggest, warmest smile. He appreciated it so much he actually said to me "well that's a wonderful smile! so infectious!" and he smiled just as brightly as he walked past me and towards his car. It's guaranteed he passed it on to someone he encountered afterwards. It's more contagious than the common cold.... smile and the world smiles with you :D

I've always loved the beauty of a smile. Whether its Christmas morning and people are open presents and the smile is from ear to ear, or perhaps its a baby smile or even a total stranger smiling. I've been told I have a very nice smile, as much as I enjoy the compliment I never really believed it, until the other day I had an epiphany. I was lying beside a beautiful lady and she was smiling. I was in complete awww at her smile, it was so beautiful and peaceful. I was put into a state of ease and warmth. I never felt so relaxed from such a simple thing. Then it hit me, I've never seen an "ugly" smile so those compliments must be sincere and even if they weren't who cares a smile to me will always remain beautiful. I can't be the only one who love a smile so remember to smile once in a while its free. You got nothing to lose. I know I sure will.

In case you hadn't heard, we lost an incredible talent in Phillip Seymour Hoffman today, who was found dead this morning in his New York apartment as a result of an apparent overdose. There aren't words to do his body of work justice, so I thought I'd invite movie fans (because if you were a movie fan, you were a Hoffman fan) to share some of your favourite roles or scenes. This guy was one of those guys who seemed indestructible. He was out shovelling snow and dropped dead. The doctor at emergency said he was probably dead before he hit the ground...so maybe not a bad way to go. He looked like he was in great shape but he ate crap and loved his beer. He didn't smoke, but he almost never exercised. Every day at work he had a greasy breakfast, donuts, muffins, gallons of coffee. He didn't listen to anything his doctor said about his diet. In fact, he constantly badgered people he considered "fat". So there are two lessons here: 1: You aren't fit just because you look thin. What the inside of your heart looks like is more important. Get a treadmill stress test! Everyone should have one in their forties. Your doctor can prescribe one and it only takes a couple of hours. 2: Don't eat garbage. 3: Don't leave a mess behind. My buddy's wife is now dealing with insurance and estate matters. He also told her he had a will but his lawyer says he had discussed it but never actually made one up. It is weird that so many guys worry about "safe sex" when they are so careless about other health matters.

got new wheels! well ... I got the same model of vehicle I was driving previously because I really loved it, so it's really not much different ... but it's much nicer and newer and shinier than the other one, and it's all mine... so it's still exciting. Picking it up tomorrow or Tuesday :D woot woot!

I know there have been pros and cons on both sides of this issue. Some think it clutters up the threads and is another obligation. Some believe it's nice to recognize the contributions of those who are trying to make this a great place on the web for those involved in the industry. With a recent post, it had me thinking about the value of continuing to do this. Do you think it's a positive thing you would like to see continue or is it a waste of energy and not needed?

I agree with the majority that they are useful and important as a tool to recognize the valuable contributions members make ... I just know that I can never respond to them all, so I just don't participate in them. Don't cloud the issue by buying into the flawed logic and lies of LE and the abolitionists. There were many different ways they could have engaged SPs but they didn't. Did they talk to a group like POWER? Nope. And trust me groups like POWER would not tolerate for one minute human trafficking or abusive pimps. I would wager they would be the one's calling LE if they knew of underage, trafficked or abused women. They didn't go after the younger at risk girls. In Ottawa almost every lady they went after were established, well regarded SPs who all are older than 25 and advertise as such. The way they approached these solo SP's compared to how they went to the spas and agencies says volumes about the intent. They were polite and sent only two officers (I was told one was female) to the spas. They identified themselves gave out business cards etc. Of course the spas have security cameras and there was more than one person working so there were witnesses. For the solo SPs they booked under false pretenses, arranged it so that they could surprise the SP with their "show of force", (4 to 5 male officers). They didn't hand out business cards, they refused to provide names and badge numbers and behaved in a rude and threatening manner. I am surprised they didn't show up in brown shirts ready to hand out black triangles. (look it up) Their behaviour was an infringement of human and civil rights, their attitude was appalling, and now they are lying about or denying some of their worse abuses. And this comment comes from me, who is usually a big supporter of LE knowing they often have a difficult job to do. However I also recognize that there are a number of assholes out their carrying badges and guns, and sullying the reputation of the good cops. It seems they all were assigned to this detail. Don't you find it ironic that the way they try and combat human trafficking and protect vulnerable women is by surprising women who are alone, by showing up with a large number of armed men, who behaved in a bullying manner? Some example they set. They should be ashamed of their tactics rather than trying to justify them in the media.

And the recognition threads add to the positive atmosphere of CERB It makes us less a collection of anonymous board handles and more a community of like minded people, if that makes sense We recognize one another through the various recognition threads, giving thanks, rep points/comments and nominations. It's what makes CERB just a cut above the other boards IMHO The recognition threads, just reinforce CERB's positivity. We have had in the past some heated discussions over some topics, but recognition threads are positive, and don't we all need some positivity now and then? Besides if they truly cluttered up the board, I think Mod would step in and say something. A rambling RG

Just to chime in once more, many of the recent birthday threads have had hundreds of hits and dozens of posts. This shows a real outpouring of affection and appreciation for our members. I can't understand objections to this. As I've said before, if you're not interested in a thread, just avoid it. I'm selective about what I read on here, but I do like to see members recognized for their contributions. And Tracie, you've played a big and positive part in this. Thank you. It's much appreciated.

I've never understood the "thread clutter" argument. I mean, I don't personally get anything out of abc game-type threads, but it takes me half a second to skip over them to the ones I'm more interested in, so what's the harm, especially if there's others who get a good time out of them? I'd think the same would apply to recognition threads. If for some people it builds a sense of a community and makes someone feel better for even a short time, then isn't it worth it? My own vote is to continue as things are, but I suppose if a compromise was needed someone could always make a single recognition thread for all of them. All milestones for all members could be recognized in the one thread, easily followed by those that wish to and likewise easily ignored by any put off by them. As I say, I truly don't see the harm in them as they are, but that's the only alternative approach I can imagine.

I certainly don't understand the mindset of some thinking bbbj being a lessor service. Actually I'm uncomfortable with the concept of lessor and better services, I don't like the idea of hierarchy of services to begin with. But then again I see a lady for the companionship she provides, not a menu of services she offers. That said, when a lady provides oral it is one of the most giving, intimate acts that she can provide. Although I don't see ladies who provide services a la carte, if encounters were priced this way, I think bbbj should be one of the services charged at a higher rate, at least equal to FS, maybe more A morning rambling RG

Consider it no different from the countless Tim Hortons out there, many of which are just across the street from each other too. ;)

The great pleasures of this hobby are not just the obvious ones. Beyond draining me and leaving me completely satisfied, Mykaelle has also fascinated me with her conversation and engaged me with her intellect. My 3 year old son made it all the way down the ski hill on his snowboard without falling once. I was so scared and so proud all at once. He was so proud when all these teenage kids came over by the lift to give him high 5's. He was so small among everyone else. On the way back up on the lift he said, " Dad...a boy said I ripped it up on the hill......did I tear my snowsuit? God I love him so much!

There's leaving it to the last moment... and then there's this.

I can personally vouch for Twyla, Leanne, & Christine ......and usually at least one of them is there, and you can always pre-book if you don't want to take a chance on availablity, as they only have 2 massage rooms. They usually have 2 girls on a shift, plus the receptionist ( she doesnt do massages), and occassionly only 1 girl. If you want a very good massage, and understand that fs is NOT a option, lingham massage is, I think you will be very happy with a massage at this establishment. The place is very clean, girls are very nice, and rates are posted, and now I think they have gone similiar route to EB/To , where repeat clients get a free massage after so many visits ( very smart move) . I highly suggest that if you want specific info , to pick up the phone , and call them, although some certain info will not be passed on over the phone. They really would like to follow a low profile, but as such follow the rules of the land , so vice etc have no reason to hassel them, and they are doing a decent brisk business from what I can tell. Many clients go strictly for the great massage, including hot stone, as well as reflexology....and if you have health coverage, part of the massage can be reimbursed by your insurance as they provide proper receipts , as it is a very legitimate massage and reflexology. Just my 2c worth. If I had coverage, I would be there once a week! Additional Comments: I had someone PM me and ask what the address was:confused0024:......seriously????

I am not sure that high necessarily means better service or better quality. In cities such as New York where rents are ridiculously high, I can see why there may be a premium charged. However, it might also be the case where the SP is trying to weed out a certain level of clientele. It could also be the case that they are only prepared to see a few gentlemen a week and thus can charge more. Whether there is sufficient supply of gentlemen prepared to pay the fee is another question altogether. I imagine there are more affluent men who prefer to pay more knowing that there are very few that can afford a certain rate and therefore gives them a sense of empowerment.

On this overcast day I decided to liven things up at VIBE and called for an appointment shortly after calling. When asked whomI wanted to see I simply said "Surprise me!". Well they did exactly that - in that it was Anastasia's first day, I was offered a duo with her and Tya. Tya is a wonderful woman, but let me concentrate solely on Anastasia in this brief recommendation. Anastasia is a beautiful, petite young woman. The shower served to get us all warmed up before proceeding to the table. After getting me all oiled up, we reversed positions and got both of the young ladies slippery, one after the other. That's when I became the centre of attention. It's all a blur from that point on - lack of blood supply to the brain. I have recollections of words, hands, junior getting revved up - then .... stars.... Laughing, smiling and then back to reality. Another wonderful afternoon at VIBE. Soon to be repeated for sure.
