Why do some people do such mean things? How can they do such harm to something so innocent and undeserving? Thankfully there are some that step in to rectify the damage others have created. I hope those kind souls will be forever rewarded. I hope you don't mind me sharing this touching video.

Nothing is ever black or white which is why some topics may be difficult to determine one's feelings about. Take your hesitation as a sign that you want to know more about the subject. It has you interested enough, it is worthy of investigation. I see that as an inquisitive mind and that's a good thing. Inquisitive people tend to not make brash decisions and tend not to impose their beliefs on others.

My take on this. Approach the lady you would like to see about a retainer relationship. Tell her what you would like (ie once a week for two hours paid up front at the beginning of the month) She would tell you what the donation would be for such an arrangement and you can both set up your weekly dates Don't suggest any rates. She'll tell you her rate for a retainer type relationship. And since you know one another, you trust her and I assume by extension she trusts you, it should be something you can discuss openly. You may even wish to have an encounter with her and during the encounter discuss such an arrangement in person. My two cents RG

I was going to write something thoughtful but as I am presently on the throne and my legs have fallen asleep while I read all of the other insightful posts on this thread, I'll just say this: Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. Be yourself, take a chance and play nice. Good things are bound to happen. Now if I can only stand up without falling back in, I'll consider the day a success. :icon_eek:

It's too cumbersome to have a strong opinion about everything. A lot of the times I know that I need more information to completely asses the situation, information that I won't get just by reading the paper, or watching the news. One example in Toronto that's a very complicated topic is a runway extension for a downtown Airport which is on an island. Issues range from jobs, economics, taxes to noise, pollution, viability. Proponents from both sides who know what they are talking about have excellent points, otherwise a lot of people are spewing nonsense or basic talking points. I know that the situation isn't completely clear, and I don't have all the information to really decide one way or the other yet.

See this is the beautiful part about board participation. By Miss Davis sharing a little tid bit about her life I personally find her more endearing and "real". Because being able to connect with a lady on a level beyond the physical is important to me I now realize that if Miss Davis and I were to meet we'd be able to "connect" over baby stories. So without realizing it Miss Davis just gained a potential client when I'm in her neck of the woods again.

I wish I had more time to post, to be honest. I have a variety of things that compete with my time, such as writing my thesis, my work as a research assistant, my yoga practice, etc. I find it really hard to find time to post on forums which is why I write in my blog more often. I know how important it is for people to get a general sense of who we are beyond what we write on our websites, etc. I hardly tour and sometimes I find it difficult to keep up with all the boards. I can only imagine how much time and energy it takes for those that tour multiple cities across Canada to keep up a board presence. I really (really) admire them a lot. This is completely unrelated, and I hope this isn't a hijack RG, but it reminds me of when people say that being an escort is 'easy money'. They're so foolish! There is so much involved in attracting the kinds of clients you like and will enjoy spending time with (blogs, website maintenance, photo shoots, screening, e-mailing, forum posting, etc). Anyway, while I definitely understand how fun it is to interact with ladies online, it's not so easy sometimes. A lot of people in the industry have blogs now too and I think that's a really good way to balance it all :)

I am a die hard BlackBerry user and I recently downloaded a new App that I think is great for this Hobby/Business. The App is called "Hide SMS" and while it is for BlackBerry 10 phones I am sure there are similar Apps for other popular phones. Bottom line the App redirects incoming text messages from identified contacts or phone numbers into a password protected area on your phone and not into your regular text message location. This allows clients to securely text back and forth with SP's with no indication of the text trail in their regular text listing. If your spouse checks your phone you are all clear. It also would allow SP'S to flag the number of regular clients so that the record of their conversations were secure in case the phone is ever lost of stolen. I have only been playing with the app since yesterday but it looks very promising.

I get so annoyed when I am on the fence about topics! It bothers me to no end! Like I will think on it all day! It seems to happen more often then I like:( Am I naturally a indecisive person? I always find it funny when someone wants to see me "right now". I need time to primp! Is it wrong of me to want to put my best foot forward? Contrary to popular belief, we ladies go to the gym, we go to work, we volunteer, we walk our dogs, we go to the store, we change flat tires, blah blah blah. Essentially what I am saying is that we don't sit around perfectly coifed! Does it matter if a girl take the time to groom before our meeting? Yes it should, I prefer to have her with her hair well placed, clean body and clothes and smelling fresh. I have been on dates with ladies where there was no make up, no brushed teeth, still in PJ's(this could be hot if they are sexy PJ's but that time they were not) the bed was all upside down(Ok this is not part of grooming, I just added this to the list). Keep in mind it was not all on the one date.

Assessing the pro sand cons is always a positive, but in the end you make a decision. Of importance though is that you have confidence in your judgement, and can move on and be comfortable whether you have all he facts or are 100% sure. If you are presented by new information you can always revisit the issue.

I am often indecisive. I think it is common to have differing opinions about particular subjects. As Meg said, not everything is black and white. Don't be to hard on yourself or question your thoughts, having many is better than having none at all:) Sometimes weighing the pros and cons can bring about a conclusion for you, either way nothing to worry or feel bad about, you're good:)

I wouldn't dream of not being freshly bathed before a date! I have had people ask me not to wash my privates or my feet for a few days....never gonna happen!

We all get those, but like others said stop re-evaluate change only what you can, and not others. If things are out of your hands then try not to worry about what if? Don't be afraid to ask for help. Since there was no actual evidence provided in this article, citations, or links to any actual research done, last week I e-mailed both the author of the piece in the Ottawa Sun, and the the anti-prostitution group who makes the "150 women forced in Ottawa" claim, to inquire about this apparent research. I have not received so such as an acknowledgement. I don't expect to. The group who made this claim, imPACT Ottawa, has posted on Backpage today. They linked to a survey asking clients basic questions about their involvement in the sex industry. I encourage all clients to take part in this anonymous survey, to have your voice heard. I have a great appreciation for redheads and Lacy kept that flame alive. She is super friendly and very down to earth and easy to chat with and that diffuses any tension right away. The trip to Windsor was a nightmare in the snowstorm...but well worth the aggravation once I saw Lacy face to face. So I took one for the team... 24/7 agency? I was assured prior to the appointment by a man on the phone that it would not be a bait and switch situation after I warned him I would leave if it was. I'm looking for some genuine opinions from gents and ladies as to the best way to approach and ask a lady if she'd be willing to to agree to a "retainer". So we all know that negotiating rates is VERY bad. However, I have a bit of a quandary. I don't want to be seen as negotiating or haggling but I've been thinking that perhaps I might want to approach a lady about placing her on a retainer. I've met her many times, I like her, I trust her, and I want to continue seeing her for the foreseeable future on a regular basis. So here's where my thoughts are; In essence it would be that I would pay the lady upfront at the beginning of the month a predetermined fixed amount representing compensation for one date per week (four dates per month) at a pre-scheduled date and time. (It's easier for me to schedule my life rather than just fly by the seat of my pants, the rest of my life is scheduled a month in advance plus I always like to play from 12 to 2 in the day). Because I am willing to pay upfront for all dates for the month I'm thinking that it would be nice if I could receive some additional benefit like receiving 1.5 hours for the same rate as 1 hour. Now as you can see in this scenario lies the risk that I might be seen as trying to negotiate rather than develop a mutually beneficial arrangement. I'd like to explore this, but if the risk is that the lady takes offense to this proposition and blacklists me I don't want to bring it up. So I'd appreciate some honest opinions from those who might have some experience in this area and if your honest opinion is that I'm "out to lunch" then I want to hear that too. Bottom line I don't want to mess up a good thing, just maybe make it better. Thanks

"Grooming" as in proper cleanliness and hygiene is an absolute must IMO. So a shower/bath before a session is a must. Not just smell fresh and clean, be fresh and clean. Grooming will also encompass just being well put together in whatever "outfit" the lady chooses. This means, (please excuse my crudeness) not meeting me with a wet spot on you outfit from where you just washed the cum off it from the last guy to visit you (this actually happened and the lady was upfront about why the wet spot was there, points for honesty I suppose). For some grooming will also entail "touching up" your hairstyle down below to avoid excessive stubble. A point of note, as I'm a lover of a furry kitty this doesn't apply to me :)

Both cats that I adopted were abused and abandoned. What confuses the hell out of me is that the both of them are as gentle as you can imagine. One of them is by far the most affectionate cat I have ever come across. It breaks my heart thinking that at one point in their lives, they were miserable, scared, and in pain. Both are deathly scared of the outdoors, and the thought that some people left them somewhere in the middle no where makes me feel anger that I rarely feel. I have no idea why anyone would do this. Why is a very good question.

First off you really need to decide what size of TV you want. The size is highly dependent by the distance away you will be sitting from it. Crutchfield.com has a great article reading this information: http://www.crutchfield.com/S-I5fnBfyTrNC/learn/learningcenter/home/TV_placement.html The next question you need to ask is what are you planing on using the TV for most of the time. Is it for gaming, sports and high speed action movies? Then I would tend to lead with a Plasma TV as the refresh rates tend to be higher, and the blacks are blacker. The concern with Plasma's centered around primarily due to the fact that they would quickly get that "burned-in" look and the back light tubes would burn out fairly quickly. If it is for most over kinds of viewing, including watching your extensive porn collection :P I would then say that and LED TV would be better. They are thinner, lighter, require no "back light" bulb(s) and tend to provide the best image quality. LED/LCD I would look at Samsung models Plasma I would look at Panasonic models. Now on the the questions of 2D vs 3D and 720 vs 1080 vs 4k. If you have an extra few dollars, won't be using primarily for fast action scenes. I would consider getting a 3D TV, as they give you the option for 3D, but also provide typically the best 2D quality images. The one caveat I have is stay away from 3D TVs that require active glasses. They aren't always easy to find and can be as much as 3 times the cost of passive 3D glasses. Also most active 3D glasses are more fragile and require a battery that eventually will stop charging over time. 720P vs 1080P vs 4k Most programming being transmitted over standard cable without a decoder box is often still 480i/p this means a 720P TV would be more than enough. Also if you plan on buy a TV smaller than 32in, the difference is hardly noticeable between 720P and 1080P. DVDs don't even play at 1080P so if that is your only source outside of cable forget it. Cable with a decoder box usually also on sends the signal at a maximum of 720P. The only exception would be the occassional action movie and some of the more important sporting events whereby they may broadcast it in 1080i. OTA: Over the Air digital signals will provide you with a free and easy source of 1080i content. Blueray devices have the abiilty to do at least 1080P, can often even rescale 720P DVD movies to 1080P. They are also the only devices available able to output content at 4K also known as Ultra HD. However there is very slim picking right now for 4K. Smart TVs vs Regular TVs As a certified techie/propeller head. I really don't put to much focus on whether or not the TV comes with "SMART" technology included. The reason being is that in the past the technology was already old by the time the TV was on the market. Which means it needed upgrading, which doesn't always work flawlessly. I would rather connect up my own seperate box "i.e. GoogleTV" or as I did in my case a mini computer which is not be limited by the functionality that Samsung, Sony, Panasonic, etc... decided to include or not include in their solution. Another option to consider would be getting a BluRay player that had the functionality, because should it break or you decide you want to get additional features it will be much easier and cheaper to replace it that the TV, that I took the time to mount and calibrate. There is the question of TV calibration. I paid to have it done on the two bigger TVs I have on my home and it has made an entire world of the difference. Go to your local audio video store or Best Buy/Future Shop and look at the TVs they have side by side and compare the quality of the image of the non calibrated TV vs the one that is. The image quality difference is noticeable to the naked eye. It also has the added side affect of reducing the power being output to the screen thereby increase the life of your TV. With these larger and higher performance AV equipment, you always have to worry about dirty power (common with both long haul Hydro power or power being generated by nuclear plants). You will want to get yourself a decent power, not that 2$ job that you picked up at the dollar store. They will both add life to your TV and provide you with better image quality. Finally be also wary of dollar store HDMI cables. Although you really don't need that 100$ cable for 720P, pushing 1080i, 3D images or Ultra HD images will usually be less problematic with something better than the base quality cable. News love fear mongering.. I guess it's not as interesting to report on the great and lovely vacations people have outside the country. There's is so much out there to discover, learn and see. I actually love visiting (parts) of South America. I heard a lot before going there, but I've never come across anything like bribes or abnormally high crime rates. (Though I did find a lot of people stand really close when they talk to you.) I've walked around at night in Asia, stayed with strangers in Europe... once you get out and start seeing places you start to see how similar people are no matter where they live. Don't let fear stop you. If you want to travel, you should.. you're probably just as likely to face unfair persecution here as you are in a lot of other countries. Edit: Oh and you can totally go missing anywhere! Even here.. Was just reminded of Owen Rooney, who was an Australian who went missing here, in Canada, after being beat up.

24. Humanity This is going to be a mushy one and to that end, it will stand alone. You may have noticed that I use the phrase "I love you" when I speak to many of the providers on the board. This is not casual nor is it capricious; it is heartfelt and honest. When you enter the hobby, you enter with the thought of fulfilling some carnal desires, pleasures of the flesh. As you begin to progress through there are natural bonds that are created. You enjoy the company of the women that you see because they are not just a vessel for your sexual voyage; they are warm, caring and magnificent human beings. I want you to pay particular attention to those last three words. True, this is a service industry and the services provided are fantastic - but you do connect with a person - a magnificent human being that has offered a part of herself to you in a mutually gratifying situation. I am a truly fortunate man. I have built bonds with providers and members here that have surpassed my wildest expectations. I don't go a single day without speaking to at least one person on this board to whom I have said, "I love you." These women may just be an hour or two of fancy to you, but to me they are the most beautiful people in my life... in fact, I might not be here writing this without them. Indulge me, if you will. On Labour Day weekend, 2012, I came home from work on the Friday evening and I wasn't feeling well. By Saturday morning I recognized that I was having a heart issue but having had issues in the past, I put it down to stress and a touch of angina. By Monday I wasn't any better. On Tuesday, a CERB member and a CERB provider came to my house and demanded that I go to emergency; they took me. I was admitted and indeed the stress and angina were a bit more serious than I had imagined. I had, in the preceding 3 days, a level 3 cardiac infarction. In layman's terms - I had a major heart attack. Over the next week in hospital, I had daily visits from a number of providers and members who genuinely care about me. A CERB member left work early to come pick me up on the day of my discharge from hospital. At home, these same members and providers had filled my fridge, filled my prescriptions and helped lift my spirits during my period of recovery. They knew I was not in any financial shape to compensate them in monetary fashion; they did it because they are magnificent human beings. I won't give you the names of these people. I wish I could, but that would be a bit of a disservice. They didn't do it for accolades or compensation, they did it because they cared for me... they love me and they know that I love them. CERB is the ideal venue in that regard. The no-negativity foundation may be frustrating at times - but I will say this: You have no idea of how beautiful the members and providers here are. The physical beauty is a given - the beauty of the person behind that veneer is the hidden treasure on this board. I am not ashamed to state publicly my love for my friends here. I will defend them with every fibre of my fabric. They are providers only by occupation but first and foremost, they are some of the most magnificent human beings that I have ever encountered. If I can only make one visceral statement here, one that comes from my gut... I ask, no... I demand that you treat my loved ones as you would treat your own. I will be back... there is so much more to add!

You'd want her to leave you alone when you are with your non-hobby people; respect that she wants the same as you. Go to the food court, order a bacon sandwich and plan the rest of your sock adventure! 18. I am feeling a little under the weather, but I have a stiffy. Good for you! Now go to the interwebs. Get the provider's number. Call her. Tell her that you are a sick little monkey. Tell her that you can't make your appointment but would love to rebook. Send her an email money transfer with a cancellation fee. Go to the bathroom. Get the box of Kleenex, the bottle of Jergens lotion, and a Dristan. Go back to your computer. Find a website with naked people having sex. Apply Jergens. Wait... wait... wait... grab the kleenex. Now take the Dristan and go have a nap. If you are sick, don't book an appointment. If you have already booked an appointment, reschedule when you don't have the plague. Do not jeopardize the provider's health by showing up sick. When you have an appointment and you are sick, you make the provider sick. When you make the provider sick, she might not be showing symptoms and she might make me sick... and that would be bad for the world. You see I am a very important guy. How important???
