There is so much stigmatization in society. Not just in the escorts world, but in every aspect of human lives. I've often said, that prostitution is considered bad, because the men who make the laws and rules, really don't like it when women have a means to say "these are my terms, like it or leave it". I pretty much agree with you. The stigma comes from the old view of male/female power dynamics, and you're right that despite many advances in many areas of society, this one fiercely resists change. For a very long time in Western society, a woman's value lay entirely and exclusively in her sexual and reproductive powers. There was a long time even in English law when women couldn't own property and had no particular claim on her children; she and they were mere appendages of the husband. (Even today, the father walks his daughter down the aisle in the marriage ceremony and "gives away" the bride-object to her new owner, and how many people really stop to ask "wait, what?"? We're all too busy being caught up in the happy security of a familiar tradition.) When sex is the only measure of your value and using it to secure a husband is your only path to financial security, you do all you can to ensure it retains its value. Women will shame another woman who shares sex freely because she's devaluing the currency in general; and everyone shames, or at least pities, the prostitute for "squandering" her own sole value for the sake of an income when she should be conserving it to secure a husband. And from the man's side you're right; his value was measured by his ability to secure a good wife (and the access to sex and reproduction that entailed). A truly successful man should have a large supply of women throwing themselves at him in the hopes of securing him as a husband. Simply buying sex with money suggested he was incapable of acquiring it through merit. The phrase ``Are you available right now'' makes me want to cringe. Some people think we sit there pretty waiting by the phone or computer all day long. Actually it`s quite the opposite. I find productive things to do with my time. I need 30 mins notice to set things up and get ready. This is the way I run my business now because I offer half hour appts ( whereas in the past I didn`t), I`m aware that people want the SP who offers these appts to be ready on shorter notice. I always take a shower first thing in the morning washing my hair, shaving and doing my hair. I also take quick showers in between appts but before each client, I redo my makeup, fix up hair again, make the bed, light candles, turn on music. It takes me 15 minutes, One time I did it all in 8 minutes ( I hate rushing ) but if someone can`t respect my policy then it`s a no go. I`m not asking for a day`s notice, 2 hours or even an hour but for some, it`s still not good enough. For myself, if there is say 20 min remaining of our time, or IF I do have few moments I can spare to chat longer. I would lead you to a sitting area, or just have pillow chat. If I am pressed for time, then obviously if the hour is done, I will lead to where your shoes are, have a bit of chat and give you a passionate long kiss and hug, I would hope this is a nice way to indicate that I have other obligations . For the most part, SP's are very good with time management. Normally never booking appointments too close together, so that there is some wiggle room. I think you seem to be a very thoughtful Gentlemen to consider her feelings. There is no harm in asking while your there with her, such as " are you pressed for time, would you like to chat a bit? Get to know one another?" I am sure if she has time, it would be appreciated:) Especially when traveling as an SP, it can get rather lonely and boring....or the other way, extremely busy. Good questions, SP's are different than MP in that they get paid up front. There is a service expectation with the amount paid and that is discussed when paying at the beginning of the session. If you are really impressed with the value than repeat with that SP, if you don't intend on repeating because for some reason, than tip in advance then you get your mileage. It is not a general practice to tip after service with an SP, I may from time to time buy them a gift if I see them regularly.
