@MsManda and I had chatted over twitter about doing an interview somewhat together as client and SP. It was some time ago, she may not remember. But I would be up for that.

Sarah I agree with you and also agree that Lydia's idea is right on the mark. While cerb/lyla is the only board I'm a member on I have the sense that it is unique on the basis of it's positive approach. There is alot of work that needs to be done to build traffic, engagement and participation on this site - and I'm certain it's worth doing. An interview related to that topic is an opportunity for the board to reaffirm and establish it's position as a SW friendly space (for both SWrs and clients) and to build back to its former strength. These interviews should be required viewing for all members joining the community - and I know that's perhaps a ridiculous expectation :)

Actually I would be interested in seeing @lydiahardwood herself interviewed. If the criteria for interviews is an active member and having a positive influence, Lydia would be at the top of that list. The topic could be about herding cats or how to keep several hundred opinionated people polite and on track. It could be like the movie “The Committments” where the lead character is always interviewing himself in predation for the big time. “So Jimmy how did the band first get together?” “Well Jimmy let me tell you all about it...”

Sorry to resurrect an old topic, that I even created myself, but I just saw some stuff about a new "bitcoin payment service" aimed at this community. I just created an account to check it out. It doesn't seem to be providing any value over and above what an actual free wallet provides and it is charging you 6% of all funds you receive through it. The only value proposition I can see is that the user interface seems to be more friendly to a "new to bitcoin" user. Please remember, using a service such as this, you don't actually own any of your bitcoin. Someone else is holding it for you, and charging you 6% interest for doing so. I am happy after the first session that we have met to indulge in a short session. i.e. 30-45mins. It is something I have available to VIPs on my website. Others might be 2 or 3 sessions. Honestly, have that conversation with the SPs you've seen. It's something after the first meet, I like to think, we can have the more open conversation re. covid, health, hygiene ect. I pulled back my 30-45 mins for covid purposes as I have made a rule to have an hour between clients to clean up, and disinfect the space. I couldn't justify needing to block off 1.5-2hours in total for a 30-45 min appointment. My increase screening came up due to unfortunate events. I increased to be able to protect clients that see me just as much as me. I would hate for something to happen during a session we were together if the information was given to the person I've been having trouble with. Which is another reason I have been super sticky with how people are contacting me and there is zero discussions of services. The information is available, a little bit of research may be needed to find it all. Safety, privacy and discretion is just as important for myself and my clients as my client would like it for themselves. Once we've met the first time, again things become easier due to having that connection built already. If I am touring or cancel last min then I ask for a deposit to secure our time together outside of the first meet. I hope that helps you Henry. P.s.
