  1. While NFTs provide discrete and unique payment opportunities here in the sex trade they are also connected to undesirable ransom requests. I hadn't thought about that - as I haven't needed to.....
  2. Thanks for posting this. It is unfortunate that a warning is your first and only post in just over 2 years on the board.... While this Ottawa section has been rather quiet for the last while (covid etc.) your safest bet is always with an established lyla provider and, generally, leolist is a crap shoot without thorough homework and a provider with a posting history and/or recommendations.
  3. Well she has no lack of support here in the community and while I usually like to see some love spread around I'm adding to the many nominations for @StephanieMystique with mine. I always like to share my rationale and besides, I talk too much: 1. She has tons of expressed appreciation and support from the other SWs here, as well as clients. 2. On reading through some of the older threads I note she had an uncomfortable situation some time ago which was certainly no fault of hers. 3. She smiled when I 'borrowed' a couple of her pics showing her gorgeous red locks to feature in the RHAG thread. What's not to like?
  4. @foofer I likely should have identified that I was suggesting a rough amount for an hour with the attendant. Here that would involve shared showers before and after, probably 50 min. on the table for the massage/reverse massage and HE. I might pay a bit more depending on the establishment I'm visiting. I tend to 'pay' the standard fee and usually 'tip' depending on the activities we decide to share, rapport and connection. I frequent the establishments where the 'full fee' is advertised. Those fees drive what is expected at the parlours and clubs that have a door fee and leave it From dropping in to read these threads from Winnipeg I get it that it's a different market. In Ottawa we have well over a dozen established parlours and private clubs in addition to the independent providers. Lots of competition. Most have at least one double sized massage table (or larger) to accommodate multiple attendants at once or couples play; one has a jacuzzi room (never been and won't go, lol); some have a liquor license and host 'member' events. I often bring in a bottle of wine or bubbly to share with my MA while we chat before or after the massage. Here are a couple of links to Ottawa salons/clubs to provide some perspective: Massage parlour with two locations: https://www.angelstouchmassage.ca/services-rates/ Private members club (I think the lifetime fee is $5): https://www.brassclub.ca/schedule/ You have to log in to the private clubs to see rates but the link gives a sense of what it's like and some pics. Rates are generally in the order of $200/h +/- and you tend to get what you pay for. The comments above about not risking to pay ahead indicate to me that the MA isn't committed to having repeat customers..... WHEW! PLEASE FORGIVE THIS WAAAAY TOO LONG HIJACK BY A FOREIGNER! lol
  5. I'm not local (in Ottawa) so pay more attention to any advice you get from Winnipeg - my comment reflects the situation in the nation's capital. With all the politicians here you can get screwed for nothing, lol. $60/h seems to be a door fee so I would start with a $100 tip. If you're after FS then go see an independent escort and the fee will be indicated up front (remember it's simply a donation for their time). On my first visit to a massage establishment in Ottawa I paid the 'door fee' at the reception and was then informed by the MA in the room that she didn't get paid anything from that - I had to do a quick trip to the bank and returned to experience way more than I had arranged for. I prefer to visit establishments where the total fee is advertised up front. I find this avoids the issues of up-selling and any uncertainty as to where the limits are. Winterpeggers?
  6. @misterdynomite30 I hear you brother! I think I was lucky as I became aware of the lifestyle through cerb/lyla so had access to lots of resources and support when I first started. I've had a couple of disappointing visits by booking through leolist when my 'little head' took charge but haven't had the potentially dangerous ones you've experienced. Good luck and stay safe1
  7. Okay, wow! So you've booked with a girl whose 'pics don't match' (whatever that means) and then see she doesn't look anything like them.... confusing - that's usually a reasonable indicator to turn and walk away.... And your '100% spot on instincts' have led you to dealing with some goon hiding behind the door with a weapon...... ???? Actually doing your homework and learning from it doesn't appear to be part of the approach shown there. I suppose three out of four visits when visiting ladies whose pics totally miss-represent them being OK is maybe acceptable odds. The good new is you didn't have the same experience as N Dynomite did! Don't bother reading angry texts - they're a result of all the time wasters and tire kickers the ladies have to deal with. Don't get me wrong, I don't have any sympathy for the blatant 'fake pic posters' but we do have to avoid or put up with them. Even the ladies with a reputation to protect deal with umpteen tests a day that have already been answered in their ad or on their website. This is why I suggest reputable members here on lyla or ladies who post regularly on leolist, from the same location, and can provide reco's or text comments from satisfied customers.
  8. You may be surprised to find that your experience turns out to be quite enjoyable as @xxdjbrown notes. Go with your gut feeling at the door and keep an open mind. Usually for me things work out OK but I don't tend to frequent leolist, always do the appropriate homework and usually only visit reputable providers here on lyla. The issue of pics is always a tricky one: do they completely miss represent the person you're expecting to meet?; are stolen from another provider?; are they 'borrowed' from some instagram model yet give a good indication of whom you've met at the door? Discretion and privacy are always important to both people involved in these exchanges so I always recognize this when visiting someone for the first time. By the end of any visit the actual pics are way down on the list of important factors below chemistry, an authentic personality, having fun and good converstion.
  9. Her last ad was posted Jan. 6, 2020, so pre-pandemic. Her last visit to the board was Mar. 6, 2021. User name is @Scarlett.Melody Using the search function for members and then viewing their profile and content yields a lot of information. I'm not a local maritimer so I may have found the wrong person but I don't think so.
  10. @spontanious well he hasn't been on here a week yet so offering him some links to help out could set him up to be able to do his own homework. Not being a local I'll leave that to the Winnipeg members. The more effective, positive members we have, the better off we all are. The 'go ahead and book your appointment' is also excellent advice, lol.
  11. lol, I need to turn the tables here and entertain some submissive ladies. But wait, I'd have to clean my house first! At first I thought this was lyla's own @mystique and was about to comment that she had plumbing skills. Cleaned my pipes expertly. She hasn't been on lyla in some time but did visit Ottawa recently. My first outcall visitor (to my clean house).!
  12. I'm not local so didn't review the ad carefully but I did note the the 'leolist' watermark is blurry and a double image and i think I recall @Greenteal posting about how this can indicate stolen or 'borrowed' photos. I've never been overly concerned about photos myself but this may warrant further investigation. If she's willing to meet with you then a simple photo texted to you with, say, 3 fingers held up in front of a readily identifiable Sydney landmark, restaurant, sign would help confirm her presence. You could reciprocate in a similar fashion to demonstrate your bona fides. Reluctant? Too much trouble for either of you? Take a pass.
  13. Yeah it's difficult to tell what is being referred to here - a brand new member hours ago with only this post and another resurrecting a three year old thread.... I'll choose to be optimistic and hope that before joining he still found some useful info and recommendations here on lyla. I think that leolist is the scourge of SW advertising - too much work to winnow out the wheat from the chaff. It's so much easier and more reliable here on lyla. I've used twitter feeds to get a sense of whether we're a good fit but I haven't used tik tok yet. It's worth being prudent about leolist comments as one of our lovely and reputable Ottawa providers got a reprimand for slagging leolist on here (she was a bit harsh but also truthful!. lol) and hasn't bothered to return to lyla. Her reputation and clear, professional website lets her advertise where she wishes. Perhaps a lyla app? You know, perfect when your SO wants to borrow your phone........ okay, bad idea 😞
  14. @Kitten I was complimenting you on recognizing your 'tough mentality - something I appreciate and admire! Wondering how often the ladies experience 'sthenolagnia and cratolagnia'. As the lyrics of Richland Woman Blues say: "Red Rooster sings 'cock-a-doodley doodle do', Richland Woman says 'any dude'll do'. I'm sliding off topic..... time for a new thread!
  15. Thanks for this interview @conquistador - it was a good read and the terms 'sthenolagnia and cratolagnia' sent me to google, expanding my vocabulary, lol. While I do admire an athletic toned female body I'm impressed rather by the athletic performance. Given the too frequent reports of athletes being groomed and taken advantage of by coaches there are clear lines that this interview does a good job of recognizing and staying on the appropriate side.of them. I liked @Kitten's comment and I'm curious to hear more from the female perspective. This is a two way street! I'm a long time coach and all my kids are high performance athletes. One of them can do pull-ups and chin-ups with more than 2/3's of their body weight strapped around their waist. Their twelve pack (!?) doesn't compare to my impressive keg.
  16. Watched it last night - great acting with a talented script writing to suit the characters, A great story. I'm currently watching 'The Good Shepherd\ (not done yet). WWII to the cold war to the Cuban Missile crisis..... has me engrossed yet permitting the occasional visit to lyla!
  17. Well........ I was about to provide you with a list of red flags form the ad: the first being '18' but then I took a glance at your content and comments (42 of them) almost exclusively posted in Kingston and Belleville. Given the Mississauga ad I'm unable to perceive your post above to be genuine. Clearly I do have time to waste, lol.
  18. Yes, I understood you were referring to craigslist..... but still no link provided. It takes time to search on craigslist: is the ad in 'therapeutic services, massage, an escort attempting to advertising discretely in some other section? That being said, ads from craigslist, kijiji and even leolist aren't always posted for long and often removed so it can also be useful to cut and paste part of the ad as well as providing a link. Belleville is a small market which means traffic if low and comments few and far between. If the provider you're inquiring about travels you may get a comment from elsewhere in the province/country. I'm from Ottawa and don't visit Belleville so probably the best help I might have been would be to point out a red flag if one were blatantly obvious. I obviously have no idea what experience you've had with contacting escorts. @Monstermash seems to know your area as he has posted multiple times in both Kingston and Belleville yet he asked for the relevant ad. Hopefully there is someone here willing and able to help you and details provided by you make that easier. Hope you have success.
  19. @Monstermash His first post on the day he joined so you'll likely have to find it for him...... he hasn't checked back in as of now. Difficult to help in these situations.
  20. If you weren't able to check all the boxes you're clearly not a dad.
  21. @roamingguy it appears that @Btowntrucker has been taking pictures of you :)
  22. While I follow the comments from @Phaedrus and @OldandNerdy in theory, when it comes to practice Bitcoin drives me a bit Loonie (see what I did there?). I can use, and even repair, a chain block quite effectively but a blockchain, not so much. Many years ago my best friend, whose father was an electrician, and I used to file the small nub off the blanks from outlet boxes and use them as nickels in the vending machines of the day, sometimes they worked! - ah, the good ol' days. In case you've been driven loony twice and would prefer a 'tuney': Here is the late John Hartford with 'Back in the Goodle Days': https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hfmr-Zn_nRI p.s. I believe an NFT is what we've got now with the new Canadian bills as they won't mold after you've tipped the canoe with your wallet in your pocket :) Apologies for the hijack.
