  1. Just thought i post a little something on this thread. I'll add Sarah's name here (from Pigale). Her accent alone in french (mis of quebecois and tunisian-morroccan french) is wonderful. Oh, and her looks too...
  2. Hi all! I posted this on the Dancers and Devotees group (http://www.cerb.ca/vbulletin/group.php?groupid=36) I spent some time at Pigs last saturday for a bachelor party (luckily not my own ... for several hours (8ish till about 2 am). Long evening... sunday was a pain, but it was a blast being there with a good group. There were many groups having a bachelor. I was able to spend time with Sarah first when she had just started her shift. She's always a blast. For those who do not know her, she's a petite lady, tunisian in origin, lived most of her life in Quebec, with a lovely accent in french. Loves people who can have a solid conversation and with a sense of humour. Jenna is another spinner (blonde) who was working last saturday, with which i spent quality time. To be well treated, for sure... Over the past few weeks, i had the chance to meet Brianna, who works only a few days a week. Pigale regulars may have noticed her; gorgeous, brown hair with a tatoo around her right thigh. Sounds more mature that what one might think. A bit timid (or is it shy) but fun once she warms up to you. Treat her right; she prefers guys being natural gentleman.

  4. Fits an Isabelle i know at Pigales to a T (she's from out of town).
  5. It opens at 7 pm daily. Been there not even a week ago early on weehday. The ladies have mentioned it got busy more towards 11 or 12.
  6. I'll say the same for Pigale. Was there on a tuesday (or was it a wednesday) on a steak day. The steak was pretty great for the plce but eating a steak in the dark is not great. A drink and a steak (or roastbeef) meal or 6,50$ ain't bad ....
  7. Or you can make a dessert Poutine... (see the link-sorry, could not find an english version) - basically donut dough shaped as fries and marsmallows. http://www.ricardocuisine.com/recettes/beignets-crepes-patisseries/1806-poutine-dessert. http://www.ricardocuisine.com/images/imageresizer.php?src=_library_upload_recipes_main_legacy-UNDER-id-UNDER-xxxxx1_Recipe-UNDER-3141-1239159728-UNDER-main.jpg&w=640&h=370
  8. Very true. I don't tend to stop at the LCBO during the week and it's been a while since I shopped in Ottawa during the week-end (as i'm not so much in a rush).
  9. Jenna is wonderful. I met her late in march. Nice woman, very friendly. Saw her stage show tonight (was at Pigale as well). Never had the opportunity to spend time with her since, but we say hi everytime we cross paths with each other.
  10. Excellent article, Erin. Well written and informative. Cant wait to read your future ones.
  11. Thougth i'd start a new thread on a little discussed club, Cabaret Le Pink. I've been passing the place for years but never took the time to stop. The place opens at seven PM, so i decided to head here at 8:30 or so. As they had almost just opened, the place was quiet; 2 or 3 patrons, same number of dancers, plus the game was playing. I found the place "cozy", in a good way. Pool tables, well decorated, and the VIP rooms comfortable. The hardwood floor is immediatly noticeable. It's a nice change from carpet or ceramic-vinyl-cement type floors. I met Emmy (i think) and one of her friend (boy, i forgot her name, although i should not have as it is original - she seems to be speaking fluent spanish- seems to me she is from Mexico), a firecraker of a lady... In any case, a short visit, but a nice visit. I agree, nice, relaxed place. Would have to return but a tad later (9-10 oclock) next time to see the ambience.
  12. Can't myself, but would have loved to. I've made plans to go to Pigale. I know just a few of the regular ladies at Barbs. Been there after work on a monday and was glad i did stop by.
  13. Thanks for both of your comments. Will have to swing by and post a review/comments/impressions.
  14. Never been myself. Ive read too few comments to make up my mind to go. Maybe i should go see for myself. They oopen at 7 PM daily rigth?
  15. Quiet, i would assume. On top of that, I don't know of ladies who work on sunday.
  16. Aye! Aye! Same here. Never been disapointed by any of the clubs i've been to any given time -especially Pigale-.
  17. Same her. I saw this post late and had plans on monday....How was the place? Never been there on mondays and tuesdays..... but will be back this friday...
  18. Hi all... Current publicity from a local SC is causing discussions among the residents.... The following link is in french and has a link (after the article) to a journalist reporting on the issue.... http://www.radio-canada.ca/regions/ottawa/2010/04/30/005-bar-danseuses-pub-autobus.shtml Same issues on both sides of the river but authorities have different methods of dealing with it....
  19. MMMMMM! Bacon! Or anything with. Homemade brownies. Cherries Or better yet, Vosges' Applewood Bacon chocolate bar.....
  20. I hope it did not turn out nightmarish, Cato.... I've had something similar but with dancers. One of the regular dancers i'm seeing gave me and another dancer i was chatting with with discrete "looks". Not quite the jealous look, but more of one that meant to "stir something up" - kinda of to attract attention (mine). I get along very very well with both, but both have different personalities; one is much younger, the other older (closer to my age) with an undergrad degree. Turned out well as nothing really changed. I'm sure there is a level of competitiveness, jealousy and petty rivalry, but most dancers i see are wise and experienced enough to see this as a business where relationships are build and maintained and realize which are the "good girls". Also, as with the example above, if you connect well, you can have an impact in someones life, so to speak, when they feel they can ask for advice etc... So, there may be a business rivalry but i think the personal relationship is more present with dancer imo which may come in play as well. Hope this makes sense ....
  21. Nice to see you had fun, EZ. Got tbe same treatment once while maintaining company to a lady friend. Yoir SO had the right approach. Dancers, i think, find it easier to wait for the first move in cases like yours.
  22. Hi all! Stopped at Barbs yesterday after a hard days work t get adrink and see whi was on.... Met Vivian (or is it spelled Vivianne) who hails from Montreal with long black hair. Works Monday tuesday starting early evening. There was also Jessie (i think-petite lady, brownish hair with smile to light up a room) and of course the lovely Maude, who to my surprise was there early. Had a blast with Maude; always a good conversationalist as we caught up with each other before heading to the CR. Her abs getting more defined....
  23. Hi EZ. I'm not a Barbs regular per se (was there yesterday though) but noticed that the chairs are good for one but seem tiny to fit a couple.... I am a regular at Pigale though, and they have a large CR at no cost downstairs. Beleive me, it IS comfy for couples. They also have "enclosed" (i.e. with full doors) VIP rooms, but you need to "rent" them from the club. Pigale has couple friendly ladies ..... Maybe some of BArb's regulars would be able to provide more info, or read up some of the threads -there may be more info hidden there. Hope this helps...
