All though there may be a thread regarding this topic in general, I needed to ask more specifically what you feel about a secured building for an incall location.

 

It is especially important to me now due to the bill causing some of my clientele certain paranoia and fears.

 

Would it make you more nervous or does it matter? I know I would personally feel safer in a secured environment, but how does it really make you feel?

How does C36 relate to this? A secure building is always a good idea. It won't stop a surprise visit from the po-po if that's what you are wondering.

I stated what it had to do with the bill in my circumstances. My clientele here are more nervous because of it and I wanted to know if it would make someone who is nervous about the bill even more nervous. I am not concerned with the "po-po". Only with the comfort level of my gentlemen visitors.

If you are providing in hotels now and are considering a change to an apartment with a buzzer entry system, i say for discretion the apartment setting is fair superior. no one knows where the person is going in the building when they are buzzed in, no one knows what you are doing there either.

Depends, some 'secure' buildings require a sign in (and to inform the concierge the unit you are visiting), some just a buzz in. I would be uncomfortable with the former.

And to add to what fortunateone has said, buzzer entry buildings often have security cams in the lobby that you can view on your TV to get an idea of the client before you buzz him in.

I expect apartment buildings to have a locked door with an intercom system. I also assume I am on camera in the lobby. (Nothing illegal is taking place in the lobby.) This is standard and I have no issue with this. If you are talking about a doorman (doorperson?) and having to indicate the person you are visiting, that would likely make me uncomfortable, (and would likely cause suspicion for the SP after a while) but intercoms are standard and safer for all involved. No issue there for me.

I would actually be more concerned if I was at an actual apartment building that didn't have this.

I am currently providing out of my home in a 4-plex, which has its own private entrance off a deck. By secured I mean you must buzz my number to enter the building.

 

I will be viewing the place this weekend, and I will be checking it out and asking about cameras and whatnot if that information is not volunteered. I have never lived in a place like this before. It's glamorous to me being from a little "red neck town" :D

In late 2012 and early 2013 I was visiting a lady where I had to be buzzed in to get on to the floor where her apartment was, I was very comfortable in doing it I would have no problem visiting someone in the future that had the same setup.

I have a high level of discretion I work to protect. So appreciate the question Mareana. Here is how I feel about it.

 

- I have no problems with a simple buzz in and/or camera system at the front door of an apartment/condo. I usually try to enter at a time when no one else is standing there. The lady is expecting me, probably because we just texted, and so it is a quick enter the number, buzz and I'm in.

 

- I've also been to a ladies incall where it was self-buzz in but they also had a concierge. I was a little more nervous but they didn't interact with me. I kind of view it like walking into a hotel and you see people in the lobby/front desk. The key is just try to be confident or look like you belong.

 

- I've never experienced it at an incall but perhaps the more nervous scenario might be where I had to interact with someone and sign in.

 

I think you're considering more 'option 1', which for me would be no problem. In fact some security to protect the ladies is completely understandable.

If a case of buzzing the apartment/condo and she lets you in I can't see any problem

But if the building is more secure, it may detract people. Case in point, I saw a lady in Toronto back in 2010 at her condo. I had to know the keypad code number to punch which unlocked the security door into the lobby. And I walked by a desk with security officers (going by a hotel front desk is nothing) These guys were to make sure anyone walking by weren't rift raft and to remove them if needs be.

And to that end, now I walked in like I belonged there, but I had to know the lady's real name (not her escort persona name) in case security asked me who I was visiting

And of course, I needed the condo apartment number

Something that elaborate doesn't lend itself to an incall JMHO

I once had an incall location in the Yonge and Eglinton area of Toronto and it was an extremely upscale condo building with a concierge. Not once did they ever stop any of my clients. As long as the client looks as though they belong there, it's never a problem. So in your situation with a regular door buzzer entry system that most apartment buildings are equipped with, there shouldn't be any issues.

I worked out of my apartment in a secured building. My only advice is to consider your neighbors immediately around you. No one may notice who's coming and going at the building entrance but people on your floor will. Just be careful, there are many people out there with nothing better to do than cause trouble with righteous tongues.

I can't see it as a problem. If anything, it would probably put my mind at ease knowing the place is safer to a degree. Hell, we've all likely lived in or had friends who lived in apartment buildings with buzzers over the years, right. I do agree that a building with security people asking where you are going could be an issue, more so for the SP than the client though. I mean, after about a month of different guys coming and saying, "I'm visiting a friend in Apt 218.", it might set off some warning bells, right. And not even thinking escort, they might start thinking drug dealer or whatever.

No one may notice who's coming and going at the building entrance but people on your floor will. Just be careful, there are many people out there with nothing better to do than cause trouble with righteous tongues.

I recently posted this caution on another thread: I made the mistake of greeting a lady by her 'SP name' before the door had closed behind me. Gentlemen we need to not speak until we're behind closed doors. Ladies it doesn't hurt to give us a gentle reminder!

I think you will prefer it, also for your own personal safety and discretion. A camera at the front door ensures that the client buzzing is entering by himself.

 

I think what concerns guys is easy access, multiple rooms and more than one entry/exit. So houses with two stories make them nervous, but a one bedroom high rise does not.

As a client I guess I want the best of both worlds I want a discrete private location with parking that will ensure I am not seen by family or friends...but I want that private discrete location to be public enough to afford me the safety and security I want especially if I'm meeting someone new.

 

Lolol... yea I know we want everything.

 

So a Upscale Condo or apartment building in a good part of town with parking that has security features like buzz to enter and/or cameras would be fine for me. I don't see a building with a doorman as a real good option both because it would make some clients nervous and would draw attention to the SP.

I could not imagine living in a building without security cameras, and night security guard. We also have security patrol cars that stop by to check on the well being of the security guard and during the day on weekends and holidays.

My first choice is always my upscale hotel room where security is a given and I know the linen is fresh. Second choice would be incall is a secure upscale apartment / condo complex, again clean linen is improtant to me.

Superintendents are also aware of who comes and goes. Most of them live on site. Note: If I had to live in an apartment again, it would be a highrise building. Sigh.

I also used to work out of a place downtown Ottawa specifically for incalls only and the director of the condo board lived right next door. I was very low volume and only doing 1 hour or multiple hour appts at the time.

 

What I used to do is as soon as I buzzed them in, I would go wait at the door and hear the elevator to come up, look out the peep hole and then would open the door for the client before they could ever knock.

 

That woman who was head of the condo board always complained when I opened the closet door or if I was laughing on the phone with a friend or even breathed for that matter. The walls were terribly thin. But not once did she know my business. I have the ability to be very unassuming when I want to be and I dressed very low key and blended in.

 

Thankfully it was a 2 bedroom and I used the other room that didn't share the same wall with her condo. However one day I heard her and her husband having sex in the middle of the night and she was a screamer so I banged on the wall. I never heard anything again.

 

I used to spy on my neighbors and figure out all their schedules. lol.

 

Years later I saw this woman in Holt Renfrew and still have that sound of her screaming behind the wall etched in my brain! Yuck!
