Ok, I wasn't going to comment but I feel I should. The so called 'Lurkers' are very important for a number of reasons. 1) By reading your posts they educate themselves on such things as Etiquette and how to treat the ladies laws breaking media and general public stereotypes of escorts (drugs, gangs, pimps, forced prostitution, std's, etc..) and much more... 2) Many 'lurkers' eventually become posters (You see accounts that look and read for months or years and eventually post) ... as yourself why? Your posts and contributions encouraged them to join Maybe they are shy They have not taken the leap yet but have been contemplating it. If your rude or not helpful you may convince them not to join in. They educated themselves and answered all the scary unknowns they may have before they book with the ladies for the first time. etc... 3) Many of the 'lurkers' read the ladies ads and book with the ladies (Many are first timers). This helps the site and our industry in a HUGE way! The ladies get lots of business from these guys... This brings MORE ladies to the site! Many are "First timers" who have questions about dating a SP. Without sites like this first timers may never book with a SP so your posts actually greatly help the industry. Many guys take months or even years to work up the courage to see a SP. 4) Traffic!! From a business end of things... This site is FREE for you all to use. Trust me, it is NOT free for us to run and the only thing that keeps this site going is the traffic it generates. We do not make much on banner ad sales and we do not charge the ladies to post ads here... instead the traffic from cerb funnels into escorts-canada (and other sites our company owns) and the traffic is high enough that it justifies the HUGE expense to run this site. It also greatly benefits the ladies as I mentioned above. Basically... Your posts = Content Content = Search engine traffic and listings and making the site more popular Search engine listings = new members finding us here New members = both lurkers & new contributing members (Aka "More Traffic") Traffic = $$$ (Both for the ladies and to our network of sites) $$$ brings more ladies and every click that translates into traffic from cerb to escorts-canada and other sites our company owns increases our operating budget by a few cents. If we did not own cerb we would need to pay someone else for the same amount of traffic. It also brings more ladies to advertise on escorts-canada. New people join into this business EVERY DAY (Both ladies and customers of the ladies). This industry has a very big turnover and we need to encourage new members to contribute... but we need to make them feel welcome as well. I agree the members who contribute and the ladies who are members here are the MOST important members on the site but please don't undersell the value the lurkers bring to the site. I would encourage everyone to make the lurkers feel welcome and politely encourage them to join the conversations (when they are ready). Politely ask why they don't post - you may be surprised at the answers. If you are rude, ignore them, discourage them from being members, or anything like that you are being counterproductive and actually hurting the site and the community.... you could be your own worst enemy as you could be discouraging a potential contributor of the site from participating here or making someone feel unwelcome and they just don't return (hurting potential business for the ladies as well). Instead, if you have a second be a nice guy (or girl) and help them out. That makes our community stronger and much more inviting. Maybe ask them why they have not posted yet.. be friendly about it. You may be surprised at the answer and you may be the helping hand they need to encourage them to contribute. Not everyone is going to contribute... why? The biggest reason I get for not contributing is that most are afraid of being "discovered" by a significant other! Think about this ... you make a account on cerb to read the posts. If you lady finds out you have an account here but can't find any posts confirming you have seen any of the ladies... not that big of a deal as you could probably talk you way out of that.... BUT your significant other finds out you have an account here and she looks up posts you have made explaining all these wonderful ladies you have been with. Your not talking your way out of that one! Another reason ...is that many still think that prostitution in Canada is illegal and don't want to leave a trail of posts or even have accounts on sites like this in fear that they are somehow breaking the law. We know this is far from true but the average person does NOT know this ... and with the help of this site they eventually learn that it's very much legal. How many of you came here thinking prostitution (escorts) was illegal and the site made you realize it was actually legal in Canada? We have done polls on this and some people even after reading the info on this site still think we are a bunch of liars and are still convinced it is illegal. Seriously! Trust me, MANY guys are afraid of these things. Guys ask me to close accounts DAILY. Most of the lurkers would like to pitch in and join the conversations I am sure! Something is holding them back ... give it time and many will take the plunge. Guy's who are lurking and reading this You do not need to be afraid to contribute. You need to log out when done and delete history (or even better use the "Private Browser" feature in firefox or google chrome browser has a "incognito" browser window feature - this ensure no trace is left on your computer of your activities). Use your PDA even and remember to erase the recently visited sites. Cerb.ca is a easy domain name to remember! You can contribute and stay anonymous.

When I read this thread, I realize how important it is to get in touch with the SP directly to know her better and to make me known a bit better. Maybe I am dreaming , but my fun being a hobbiest is to prepare somehow my apt with a SP. As I said in some thread, the 'quick-quick' "boum-boum" encounter is not my cup of tea. I find that pleasure comes with somekind of relationship where, at least, the Sp and I know some of the expectations of the other, and what kind of person we are. CERB is a very nice tool to learn a bit on someone from this community that shares some values that we want to promote here: authenticity, respect of the person, and the plain fun to have sex in a safe fashion. When I read posts from Annessa or Megan, or others SPs, I feel that I see more than a beautiful SP, sexy and a good and professionnal provider, but a person with ideas, personality showing how she reacts. I dont want to meet a body, I want to have fun with a person, sexy and true. Yes, for sure, a pic, a rec nicely written are good, but IMO to get in touch directly with the sp to find the right info looks the best way. I know, I know, maybe I am dreaming; some hobbiests may want a quick service without notice, and act like as a compulsive buyer, base his decision on a story he heard from one of the guys. That's a choice, but not mine. But a dreamer I may be, and the pleasure to meet a lady is a gift that I want to cherish. I was lucky for my first apts; I have prepared my choices, got in touch with the SP, exchanged emails, sharing info, sometimes with humour, that enhanced my excitement of the experience.

By age 66 most of us have seen about 2 million tv commercials. According to a guest on the Rachael Ray show, companies are tricking our brains into making certain purchasing decisions. Using neuro-science, they have determined that the most addictive sounds have a much better success rate in tv advertising sales than the imagery we are used to. There reasoning is that most individuals have the television on as a background source of noise and that these sounds may attact our attention from the task at hand. The top three sounds are 1) giggling baby 2) vibrating cell phone 2) ATM dispensing cash Can you think of a commercial using one of the above either consciously or subliminaly that uses this tactic? How well has it worked where you are concerned? There is one tv ad that always makes me look up but yet I can't remember what it is for other than somekind of hair product LOL. Mixed in with the sound track is a faint but annoying vibrating cell sound that always makes me check my phone.

I just threw down a stupid amount of money on these 2 items. I did a lot of research and apparently Liberator is a good brandname for these sorts of things. Has anyone ever tried either of these items out? They should be coming in a week. The only reason I bought them is to make things a little different for my clients, than just doing it on my bed. Looks like I can even tie someone to the Ramp...or be tied there myself! I'm thinking the possibilities could be endless... Is it just me or are women who are a little more mature (30s, 40s, 50s) also wetter, kinkier, and more willing to REALLY engage? I love the young hard bodies too but I am finding that the feel of a softer, riper lover to be just what it takes. Damn, did I just admit to growing up?

In my opinion, I highly doubt that any of the ladies on CERB conduct business in this manner. Where are you finding the ads the for the ladies that you are calling?

I will try to tell a little story that happen to me on CERB and concerns many people here indirectly. I have received a PM from a new member(lurker) last fall asking me in my opinion who was the best lady to see in Ottawa. I explained that everyone has different preferences and that he should read the recommendations section for Ottawa. He replied asking my opinion so I told him and he wanted more "options" from the SP so I guided him in the right direction. Now he makes 3 APPOINTMENTS with 3 different ladies at the same time and does not show up at any of them. I hear about it in chat and now I feel like shit giving this jerk my advice on girls to see.:ablow: This is why I was mad at "lurkers" in the first place and promised myself to never help one out again. If you have some post on here and ask me for any advice I will be happy to help out to the best of my knowledge. Thanks for your time T

Have tried a version of the ramp and it was a great new experience for both of us. Very deep penetration and much more relaxing for her when receiving oral from behind as I have been know to linger in that position... recently picked up the bungee swing which is far superior to the fixed bar swings that are available. I don't think they make the bungee anymore so if you see one gathering dust in some back corner of your favourite sex store I suggest you pick it up. Just make sure to install it correctly.

For all of us not mentioned, a real disapointment! Sigh.

I'm in my late 40s and no sign of drying up for this girl!

Since you asked... IMHO, short answer: No. Based on my understanding of logic, this is wrong because if everyone was a lurker and no one ever contributed (content to be lurked over), then there would be no CERB, and therefore only lurking would be counter to what this site is all about - contributing in the form of recommendations (it's stated right in the site name ;) I believe there is a reason to why it's not called the Canadian Escorts Lurking Board :???:). (But that's not to say lurkers cannot exist on CERB feeding off the contributions of others, as obviously for most all active communities with respected contributors there will always be those whom lurk over these other people's contributions without ever giving back - tis life - but it's Not what this, or other communities, are all about. Lurking is secondary to the process, not principal.) *W.I.T. makes a prime distinction by clarifying how some lurkers take away from the community with their less than respectful trolling (especially when the info. is right there in front of them for the clicking and reading - lazy!) It's like Bush's failed argument about not protecting the environment in fear of damaging the economy - without an environment, there would be no economy. :-? Correct me if I am wrong? I believe if a lurker started making comments then they would no longer be a lurker - and what would they say: I wish people who post stuff for me to lurk over would go away and stop posting? :-? I am not sure what "hell" there would be to pay, but I have yet to see this on any forum I have participated on in the last 15+ years of chatting online. By definition, it would be a case of biting the hand that feeds you. Lurkers need posters, not the other way around. Yes - I 100% agree with AngelaofOttawa! ...and therefore to keep it even simp-ler: If a lady has any recommendations (which of course one would have looked for before ever considering spamming/PMing anyone else on the forum looking for the same info. which is already readily available to everyone), then simply do not PM members and/or If they have not contacted the lady directly themselves already. Real simple - Exclamation point! ;)

What exactly do you mean by ripeness? Are you suggesting that the young peaches aren't ready for eating but the older ones are? :cooter: I've had some pretty darn good young peaches around here....so if you're correct I sure hope they stay in business so I can go visit them in their mature years.....the peaches then will be so fucking ripe they'll melt in my mouth! :69:

Any viable community is built on public goods. Although their use is free, the willingness of the members' contributing to building up the public goods is a sign of a healthy and sustainable community. Cerb is such a community and that's why I like it.

    I'm the wettest, kinkiest 20-something I know. Maybe I'm just a mature 27. ;)

Being an SP, has had me discover what I like, and what I don't like. 99% of the time, it's about chemistry. You either have it, or you don't. It can be both verbal chemistry, as I enjoy visiting certain clients, and then it can also be sexual chemistry, as I like to fuck them. I know what I want, and how to have it, now only if I could find it:rolleyes: BTW I am a young 32:lol:

I have been saying this all along. The mature ladies are the best. They really know how to handle a man.

I agree. I have noted this as well. I account this on two main things: a) Growing up means knowing what you want and like b) Being comfortable with who you are and with sex

Thanks for warning members about her "tight kitty". I'm not sure that will decrease her business any, tho'. Lol.
