I know many on CERB have built up strong connections with those they have met with. This can apply to the gents who have a particular lady they like to see on a regular basis. And I suspect can equally apply to the ladies who may have their 'favourite' clients. And on both sides we have probably had someone leave the hobby that we cared about. I am curious how Cerbites feel about the ability to know a 'regular' is leaving the industry and if you've had the chance or would want to meet one last time? In my case I've had a few disappear without the opportunity to meet and say good-bye. A couple have just dropped out of site and another I knew was leaving but living in different cities we never met - one last time. For me I guess it depends on the 'closeness' of the connection. Saying good-bye is always hard but the few ladies I've gotten really close to - I would want to know and meet with one last time. Not sure it changes anything in the long term, I just think it would help me with moving on. Any other experiences or thoughts? Cub

I'd heard good things about Jordyn a while ago, but unfortunately not managed to catch up with her at the time. And then she left town! A disaster, I thought. One that got away. So I was very glad to find out that she's returned to this neck of the woods, and is now - appropriately - at Paradise. So, last week I called as I left work, and as luck would have it she was available. I rolled up a short time later to find a fantastic-looking lady waiting for me, and I was shown into the massage room with a big smile already firmly in place. He takes diligent notes on, say, how they moved their hips and whether their groans were adequate, and makes recommendations to the madam. There is paperwork involved, which we find hysterical. The article describing Jaime's profession really needs to be seen to be believed, as it describes the yawning coffee-slurping Director of Quality Control starting out his day on "Mariana the stewardess" after making a phone call to a nightclub he manages. His day continues in this fashion as each candidate, all in their early 20's, make their way into his "office" (which is equipped, of course, with a stripper pole and a suitcase full of condoms.) Each one is dutifully fucked, evaluated, showered off, and then the Prostitute Conveyor Belt gets fired up again. The strain of the job is actually such that he can only do it once a month, testing around seventy girls or so a year. And, in fact, the article closes with a kind of haunting image of the guy getting dressed after a hard day's work with huge dark bags under his eyes. Of course, that comes after an intense description of a volcanic threesome that ended the day so, y'know. We want to believe that this, like any other job, just eventually gets really boring and tedious, inevitably draining you of your soul and will to live. And, like all jobs in the sex industry, that it eventually gets drained of any sort of visceral joy after a while and burns the "lucky" recipient out. The article seems to head fake in that direction. But the adolescent parts of our brains don't buy it. As we all said simultaneously, "Un Buen Trabajo, indeed." Absolutely. How many hobbiests do you think will provide with me their phone number or a reference, if they know they are incriminating themselves? Not to mention that hobbiests won't report exploitation or human trafficking. I truly believe that 99% of clients give a damn about us and that if one of you were to show up for an appointment, only to find an underage/exploited/forced situation, that you would not proceed with the appointment and notify police. How many hobbiests will report if they could be criminalized? Hobbiests are not our enemy. They are KEY to stopping exploitation, underage workers, and human trafficking. Who knows more about what's going on than hobbiests? If we want to stop exploitation/underage/human trafficking, we need to work WITH hobbiests and not demonize and alienate them.

11th hour bumping of either a regular or new client doesn't make sense. It's disrespectful, and just as a lady wouldn't like being bumped/cancelled at the 11th hour by a client, a client isn't going to like being bumped/cancelled at the 11th hour In fact if she did that she will need new regulars, to accommodate the former regulars she lost. And that regular is a repeat customer already, the new customer may just be a one time visit. Not only would that be a poor business practice, it's a poor way to treat another person IMHO RG

There are really good bands this year. The Roots, Tegan and sara, The Black Keys, Ben Harper. Although this line up doesnt seems to be as much as last yrs. Maybe more addition to come.
