CELL PHONE Numbers Go Public This Month Thought this was good info from the Government of Canada ... If you have a cell phone. REMEMBER: Cell Phone Numbers Go Public this month. REMINDER ... All cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sales calls. YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS!! To prevent this, go to the following web-site for Canadian Telephone Numbers: Click Here https://www.lnnte-dncl.gc.ca/ And then click on English & then on "check my registration." It is the NationalDO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time. It blocks your number for five (5) years. HELP OTHERS BY PASSING THIS ON. It takes about 20 seconds.

It seems to me that when people have a bad experience with a union, their perspective becomes that all organized labour is the corrupt/antiquated, etc. Why then do people not feel the same way about corporations? I'm sure we've all had dozens of terrible experiences with different companies, both as consumers and employees, but I don't hear many people say that the time of the corporation has passed and we should embrace communism. If the right to strike is taken away, or if the government forces workers back to work, then the employer has no incentive to bargain in good faith. Arbitrators can be very useful when negotiations have truly stalled, but it can be very hard for a arbitrator to truly understand what is most important to either side, as they cannot fully understand the complexities of the organization while being outside of it. The parties should have a chance to work through the issues by themselves and work stoppages are a necessary part of that system. In the case of the Halifax Transit workers, you may be interested to know that the issues on the table are not in regards to wages at all. The issues are about preventing the employer from contracting out their jobs, and keeping all of their employees at full time hours. In my opinion, those are fairly noble causes and are certainly worth the strike for the members who would lose their jobs or have their hours cut otherwise. I also use public transit regularly and would be severely impacted by this work stoppage, however I support their right to do so. Just because I use a service does not mean I am entitled to it. If the Halifax Transit Workers had no union, and the city did contract out their services, there would be no guarantee of services either. The company who receives the contract could go out of business or stop running less profitable routes, etc. As for striking being a joke, it is only considered after holding a vote of all the members and using the majority decision, much like any democracy. So how is that unfair to the workers? As in any democracy, some people are going to be upset, but when you are acting on behalf of the majority, you are acting in the interests of the group as a whole.

A serious read that might resonate with some of us. Warning: it gets emotional. http://www.dailykos.com/story/2012/01/22/1057341/-F**k-Joe-Paterno-(Final-Important-Update,-please-read-3) Sent from my BlackBerry 9780 using Tapatalk

Please do go visit Digby "Home of the World Famous Digby Scallops". We are the Scallop Capital of the World. You will find with this genre of people that Eastern life is more laid back. We do not live to work but we work to live. A province of hardworking free spirits....genuinely good people. Some of the best that Canada has to offer.

That's cool. The technology is pretty neat. Thanks for the link. Possibly oddball reaction follows, though: Did anyone else find it... weirdly sterile? Like a Disney World version of things. I realize it's an ad, of course, and it's more interested in selling the potential of a technology than being a documentary forecast. But I can't shake this weird feeling that... what... this is the future we're meant to aspire to? The people who made that ad thought that their target audience would respond to it well. They showed an idealized version of a possible future. But I felt myself thinking... what, they made something idealized and it's this? It's a weird ideal I'd actually hate to live in. Not to mention, if the guy had been surfing CERB carelessly, he'd run the risk of finding it plastered all over his mirrors, fridge, and countertops the next morning. "Uh... honey?..." :) EDIT: To expand on that a little, I guess my core response is based on a belief that our culture spends a LOT of time getting excited about "look what we can do!" and far, far too little time asking "who am I, and why am I doing that?" No criticism of you for posting this, though, RG -- it is very cool.

I just posted something in a reco for a first time visitor to Ottawa. This has been an issue as long as I have lived here and has cost us the company of many outstanding women. Here is the post: "Ok, I've gotten several PMs telling me how wonderful XXXX is and thanking me for the reco. Wondering why they aren't adding to this? I'm asking for purely selfish reasons, I want to be sure she is here so I can see her again! Here's what one PM said about her: "Thanks for your XXXX review. I met her tonight and she was a gem. Like, you she managed to slip on a hat without my realizing. I was totally stunned when I found that it was already on. She's remarkable!" This applies to anyone, not just Yoko. If you like a girl be sure to tell everyone. Some of them will leave town early if they are not busy, others will not return. It's crazy not to share info about a good provider, even if it makes her harder to see. At least she will be here to see eventually!" Come on guys, this helps everyone. It's a no brainer! Please????

I actually prefer it over hotmail for example. With gmail I can see the trail of correspondence between myself and the other party. It makes it much easier to keep track of what was discussed especially when it comes to keeping track of enquiries and appointment bookings. I also get a lot less spam with gmail.

I know that to be professional about it a man should not get hard but if its a cute lady doing it to me I won't be able to control my body. What do you do then?

I spend those days at home, refusing to get out of my nice, warm flannel leopard-print pajamas. Then I make all of the animals (I live with three cats and two big dogs) curl up on the couch with me, because they make wonderful space heaters, and then I spend the day eating popcorn, watching movies, and snuggling my family of animals. Best days ever.

I collect little decorative containers and boxes. I used to collect dolphins and have a few nice figures. My favourite thing to collect is $100 bills, but don't have as many of those as I would like.

I like winter storms when I am not working..... Sledding is a blast after a heavy dump of fresh snow. I like to sled to the fishing shack with a couple buddys, fire up the wood stove and fish and sip on a drink and the storm doesn't matter. Very peaceful. If a storm hits on a weekend the local rink is usually very busy with both adults and kids skating and playing shinny. However I would give all of that up if I could crawl under the covers with Penelope and Sophia :) :) Sounds cozy.

Memories.......that is what I truly collect..... You can be any where and close your eyes and remember the great times with beautiful ladies....friends....family..... Memories do not require a space on a shelf or cabinet Memories do not have to be seen to enjoy..... Memories can be shared over and over and you never worry about some one dropping it and breaking it......... ...... ........ People will remember you or your actions long after the trinket is gone........ So that is why I collect memories Posted via Mobile Device

I have so many I never use but will not part with. 8 axes, 4 adzes, bark spuds, cant hooks, drawknives, probably about a dozen hammers (not in a sack). Lots of stuff from Lee Valley that looks cool but I used once or twice. One of these days I got's to get organazized.

Love that..... and my comments...... public transit is for the public...paid for by the public and our taxes...the public taxes. buses are used for people of all incomes to get to and from work...to and from the hospital....to and from loved ones..... holding the public at ransom so people can get a wage increase when most of us have not even had the COL increase in 3 years........give me a break. if hydro decided to go on strike and not produce power...wow...how many does that affect....??? What about the public employees that run the water treatment facilities.....no water...then what.....?? but if Ikea goes on strike....well....wait it out.... if Shell goes on strike...go to next station.... but a bus goes out.....no other option..... essential service....YUP!

During Penelope's recent visit to Sydney I enjoyed the supreme pleasure of her companionship for several hours. Having read all her other reviews, I find that they are pretty accurate in "facts" but I think they mostly miss what I will attempt to describe here. This is one very classy lady, definitely top shelf in every way. So much so it is even difficult to do her justice, but I shall try. It very much reminds me of many years ago when I first visited the Rijks Museum in Amsterdam. I walked around the Museum in awe as I had no previous appreciation for fine art before that but the incredible beauty of these original masterpieces by Rembrandt took my breath away. Almost in an instant I understood what art was all about. That visit the Rijks Museum and the tears that rolled down my cheeks as I was so touched with emotion by the incredible beauty of this man's work who was long since dead was a life changing experience. Spending an afternoon with Penelope is quite similarly a life changing experience (and you don't have to fly to Europe). Take the time to get to know her as I did and you won't be disappointed. Most of all treat her with the utmost courtesy and respect she deserves, in so doing, and with regard to her fee, God swiftly paid me back with interest, even before our visit had come to an end. So I guess what I am trying to say is that Penelope is like rare art. A national treasure, priceless and to be treated with the only utmost care and attention and most of all she is definitely one of a kind. Impossible to adequately describe in words, you must meet her in person to fully understand. I am willing to answer any specific questions (but reserve the right not to if your question is too personal or considered by me alone to be inappropriate), just PM me.

The employer is not inconvenienced by a bus strike, only the ones who cannot get to work, school, doctor appts, etc etc by the lack of public transit in the case of strikes. And having been affected in the past by a strike, I am completely for making it essential service. Having grown up in a union family as well, experienced many times thru long strikes before the times when union members could get paid well for showing up with signs. The families never recover, even if the wages are increased and perks improved. Altho I appreciate the efforts made in the past by unions for improved working conditions, most of the time these days I see the union reps trying to justify their own existence more than helping members.

I regret meeting someone who really got me, touched me and then suddenly was gone. But, it's better to have known something and lost it, than to have never known it at all. (I will say this until Cher finds a way to turn back time! I have faith in her!) Xoxox

The recommendations that I've appreciated the most, and that prospective clients have mentioned, aren't explicit, but still give the kind of information many seem to want. Am I the woman in the photographs on my website? Was our correspondence helpful, meaning not only did you get the information you needed from me, but did you also get a sense of the kind of woman I am? How well did that impression match with your experience of me in person? Did you enjoy your time with me, whatever we were doing? By that I mean, did you find me to be warm, pleasant, attentive, hospitable and perhaps interesting? Everyone feels a bit nervous when meeting someone new, especially in anticipation of an intimate engagement. Did I help you feel relaxed, confident and at ease? Would you see me again, if the circumstances allow? I think that explicit details about erotic activities are less useful, much as I appreciate that you enjoyed our intimate time together. What I do with you may have more to do with the chemistry between us, how you feel or how I feel that day than anything else. I will always do my best to ensure that you have a pleasurable time, but I can't guarantee to engage in a specific act, no matter what! If we've met several times, the intensity and variety of our activities may change as we get to know each other better. Genuine trust based on real experience with another person enhances an encounter, for me, at least.

if I could live over again I would have loved my father more, treated him better, spent more time with him before he died I would have gone to university to become the type of professional that was better respected I would have respected my money more I would not have let what others think of me affect how I feel about myself I would have told more people to f off!!!(the ones that deserved it that is) would have gotten bigger boobs!Still might! would have tried harder to make a difference

I probably would have become a doctor instead of a lawyer ... too many mind games with my colleagues. Really. On the other hand, being a lawyer, people pay me to bullshit. :icon_wink: And I agree with Sacha ... respectfully, many of you aren't answering the question! (smile)

I have a set of the silicone ones that Penelope posted. I love them! I wear them a couple of times a week, sometimes more, when I'm doing errands, walking the dog or doing housework. They're great for toning the kegels and they feel good, too, but not in a way that's overly distracting. I've tried the small ones, like in the photo WiT posted. I didn't like them very much; they seemed a bit small. Then someone visited me and brought a pair of the "medicine balls" (also called "baoding balls") that can be found in a lot of health food stores and Chinese import stores. They're intended to be rotated in the palm of your hand, providing stimulation to a lot of accupressure points. They're larger than the ben wah balls, fairly heavy, and they have soft, lovely chimes inside them. I've acquired two more sets of them <ahem!> since then. They come in different sizes, some are laquered with painted designs on them. The small and medium sized ones are lovely. Put the pair inside a condom and tie a knot in the end. That becomes a very effective handle or drawstring for removing them later. If I'm already nicely aroused, a walk around the block becomes a wonderful thing. :icon_wink: A set of these would make a nice little gift to give a lady. Take her for a walk. Be prepared for her to need to pause from time to time to bury her face in your neck while she tries to be unobtrusive as she climaxes!

With all due respect, why would you publicly reveal a lady's incall location (good or bad)?? What about *discretion* for her and the gentlemen who decide to spend time with her? Generally, those details are only shared on a need to know basis.

Ottawa now has a ESCORT and a MASSAGE announcements section. Ladies please choose ONE or the OTHER to post ads in. If you offer FS then please use the "ESCORT / COURTESAN" forum and if you only provide massage or NON FS services please use the "MASSAGE / NON FS" section. I have moved all the previous posts to a ARCHIVED folder and closed that folder. Same rules apply (1 post per 12 hour period) and please ONLY post in either the NON or the FS - NOT BOTH If you offer both services (as many do) then you would post in the FS section (Not the massage section)

Welll then, thank you for your insightful responses Cristy if there was any doubt before you've certainly cleared things up for anyone who may have been undecided about paying you a visit. The key to a successful business is to know your audience and market to them. Your audience has spoken and yet you've chosen not to listen. We don't like deception and excuses. You asked earlier has anyone checked you out, likely not because they're not sure what to expect, knowing that you have no issue posting stolen fake photos. As for the shades being drawn, as stated before you are simply contributing to the counter productive stigmas associated with this trade/hobby that so many other providers work hard to change these perceptions. It dosent have to be a shady business's unless you choose to make it one. I think you'll find that your choices may impact your business and the people with whom you do business with. I wish you the best of luck.
