I think my sense of humour follows largely from my refined sense of the absurd, coupled with an appreciation for novelty. This might explain why I sometimes dissolve into fits of giggles over situations and/or notions that are heavily steeped in nonsense, much to the amusement and amazement of those observing. hmm that is a good question. I mean hear in NB we have all shapes and sizes but now that you mention it I haven't seen a heaver girl while I've enjoyed entertainment in Montreal. I wonder if its because they don't hire them there or if it's just because there aren't bigger girls there that are confident enough to get up there on stage. An association doesn't have to be public! It can be a very private group that meets, exchanges bad date information and offers support to each other. All it takes is one person willing to organize it. I belong to a private association of Divas. It's a loosely organized group of single old broads that get together regularly to exchange complaints, celebrate successes and bounce business ideas off of each other. We even have a membership ring that we all wear and group of younger D.I.Ts (Divas in Training) that are earning their "Diva" status. We don't have bylaws or rules except one. You can't miss a meeting unless you are dead. Literally. So the next question is... Who is going to step up to the plate up there, make a few phone calls and pick a place to have a coffee? If it's all inclusive, it doesn't matter the race as it will help everyone involved. Having had 5 lung surgeries in my life already, scars are pretty much a part of me. I've had people ask me about them at the beach. I usually tell them that I wasn't very nice, so I had to give back my wings (makes sense when you see them). And I've had people tell me it's gross looking. I just respond that there isn't much I can do about them and if they don't like them, to not look at them

Well after dealing with the Passport Canada bureaucrat from hell who said I wasn't a Canadian citizen and tried to get rid of me, and that was on Dec 31st...I now just today received my passport. Only thing, I was hoping to bump up my visit to see dad next week, but he goes to the Moffitt Centre (specializes in cancer treatment) in Tampa Florida on Monday so he asked if my original travel plans could be kept On an upnote, he seems positive again, and maybe this centre can treat him...keeping my fingers crossed and praying But all things considered, this seems like a highlight RG

Wether they are intentional or unintentional they are part of you and they make you unique. Their story is for you to share or not to share and part of your journey to becoming "you". Others may look at them and see them as ugly, some may not notice some may find beauty in them but what is important in the end , for all of us is how we see our selves. I would be willing to organize such a meeting between SP's. I think there is safety in the information to be shared. And also believe it would be good from a mental health position. Being an SP is often lonely if you live a double life like so many of us do. We have few to vent to and none who understand. I just wanted to start the year off on a fun note starting with my friends in the CERB community. This time of year is relatively slow for me workwise and allows for time to reflect on the lighter side of life. Like most of us I love to laugh and enjoy humour in many ways. I was wondering if other Cerbites can identify (1) where their sense of humour were formed and (2) some examples of your favorite people / situations. Perhaps there will be some common threads here. My somewhat dry sense of humour largely comes from my long deceased father and was the bane of my mother's prim and proper existence. Some examples include: Actor / Comedians - Rowan Atkinson (Mr Bean), only the TV shows not the movies - John Cleese - all his stuff - Rick Mercer - the best on Canadian TV - "Ted" (from the new movie of the same name) - Robin Williams (his adult stuff) Authors - Gary Larson ("Far Side" - I wish he would come out of retirement) - Bruce Makinnon - National cartoonist Other - The Canadian series "Just for Laughs Gags" - Several Bristish TV shows (i.e. Keeping Up Appearances, Waiting for God). What are your thoughts?

Tonight I brought my dad home from an extended hospital stay due to pneumonia. He is already suffering congestive heart failure, emphysema, hypertension, decreased kidney function, and an additional list as long as your arm. Also, he has 15 years on his quadruple bypass, so that's past it's life span and he's too old for another of those. For the first time, he has a walker. I can't get used to seeing him struggle with that thing, but somehow he's in good spirits. I know he's tired, but not ready to let the Grim Reaper win yet. He dreads having to be on oxygen, if that happens it might finally make him give up. Tough old bastard.

I would suggest Lexy and/or MsMandy first based on experience and reviews by others. Lexy is attractive, very friendly, engages and appears to enjoy. I have not had the pleasure of MsMandy yet but all her reviews are glowing and pics are unreal.

You know those 2-way radios I mentioned buying? Scratch that. We had to return them. We weren't very happy with them in the first place. They misrepresented in their sales materials, and had obviously never been field tested before being released to production. But we probably would have sucked it up with all that. But then one of the batteries exploded while I was holding the one unit. What is it with quality control these days?

I enjoy a bit of the perverse with my humor. Be it sexual or just somehow a little different than normal. It also takes a lot to shock me, so maybe that's why I find thing on the 'edge' more funny than things that are not. I've enjoyed such comedies as Monty Python, Rowan Atkinson's Black Adder (oldie but a goodie), The Far Side, etc. I sometimes say stupid things in a dry way just to gauge other people's reactions before I 'come clean' and give a sheepish grin. I love Tarintino's dialogue in his movies. Witty banter coming to a clever ending. That's pretty normal, I guess. :-) Additional Comments: Have you read any Tom Sharpe? I ask only because he wrote an interesting comedy set in South Africa during Apartheid. Riotous Assembly is the title of this absurd book I believe which played a role in getting him banned from the country. It's also a bit perverse, so YMMV.

Although we don't tip our doctors, dentists and such, I think we should always show gratitude for excellent service. I take my providers a little something for the holidays and their birthdays just to say "Thank you, I appreciate what you do for me." I wouldn't hand my doctor or mechanic a cash tip but their eyes certainly sparkle when I give them an envelope with an LCBO gift card or a bottle of their favorite poison. With time, perks seem to appear. I have most of my providers cell phone numbers and can text in the event of a general inquiry or a situation arises. How many people have their doctors cell phone number? Not many, but I have found it certainly is handy to have. The important thing isn't the gift itself, it is the acknowledgment of appreciation for those who have a genuine committment to providing the best service they can... cat

I've seen Claire a number of times over the past year and it's no surprise she has so many recommendations. She's very attractive and playful but one thing stands out: Claire's really happy to be there with you. It's a small thing but you feel it in so many ways. She's always happy, she's always with you. I had a problem with a former client who was stalking me. About 18 months ago, I reported him to the police. They were terrific, all the way. What this means is that the police know who I am. They have my real name and my address. They know what I do and that I've been working privately for years. They were explicit: they're not concerned about anything other than my personal safety. I have as much right as anyone else to be protected from someone who is behaving maliciously, and since I was able to demonstrate that I had been clear and emphatic that I didn't want to hear from the guy again, they believed me 100%. My profession was immaterial. There's very little political will in Vancouver to do anything about independent escorts who work much as I do. If no one complains, there's no problem. It's not worth the time and the cost that it would take for the police to investigate women like me. The big problems are happening with one or two agencies and the Asian micro-brothels.
