It's like the question about providers that won't see men of a particular ethnicity. Bottom line? Who cares. For every provider that restricts the age, ethnicity, body type, etc there are probably 100 or more providers that are willing able and ready to take that client. You can get angry, you can feel indignant, you can cry all you want but... no one gives a damn. Face it. We have a bajillion choices to make, whether it be here or other sites or media outlets. Are you really going to get hung up on the ONE that won't see you when there are literally hundreds who will? Spend your money and time with someone that wants to see you. You feel better. She feels better. Everybody is satisfied in one way or another.

Why? Just as hobbyists have preferences so do we:) Some like older, younger, all ages and everything in between . So long as both parties are willing and legal I guess it's their choice:) Really nothing should be of a surprise in this business, lol, as just about anything goes. If it's legal that is;) Just don't take anything personally, as one persons taste and preferences aren't another's:)

Easy ... First One is LEGAL: Most people in Canada think prostitution in Canada is illegal. It is actually perfectly legal (if you follow the law correctly). It is not a "gray" area either... if done in private (not in a bawdy house IE. Regular place of prostitution) like a hotel room or out call to the guys house... with no public solicitation with someone over 18 and no one other then the lady herself is making money from the call... it's completely legal here in Canada. People need to stop watching American TV and thinking we follow some sort of American law! Second: Drugs. People assume that all ladies in this industry serious drug addicts and are in it to support drug habits. I have never met a serious drug addict who owns a computer - let along uses one. Third: STI/STD's Probably 100 times more safe with a pro who uses condoms as opposed to the girl you picked up drunk in the bar and "took a uncovered chance with!" most of the ladies practice safe sex as being sick with a sti/std is not good for business!! Fourth: Pimps and forced prostitution Steetwalkers and escorts are often grouped into the same group. Not the same! Fifth: Ladies taken advantage of. Often people think this is done against the ladies will or she is being taken advantage of...

Actually I am surprised that this isn't more common, I have only come across it myself once before......no biggie, but it is amazing how open and accepting these young women are. Whenever I do contact a SP for the first timeI am always open about my age.....don't need any surprised ladies as I step through the door, and to make things go well there has to be some sort of acceptance. The good thing about seeing someone who is even slightly active on the board is that you can get a sense of what the others overall life experience and personality is like.....usually older is better for me...but sometimes a younger lady can still have a maturity/experience level that can overcome a large age gap, everyone is looking for a different experience, but everyone wants a good experience.

Does anyone else think the media hype on CBC and in the Herald, regarding underage prostitution via sites like Craigslist or Backpage is overblown? If the two media outlets are to be believed, underage online prostitution is rampant in the Halifax area. The article points to the arrest of many people who fell for an online sting operation by law enforcement about a year or more ago. Like many people on here, I peruse CL and BP as well. The vast majority of the ads I see on there are fake internet scams to begin with, where they're just trying to get email addresses to sell you penis pills. Then there's SP's who've been around for awhile, followed by people who are simply just game players/time wasters. I can't think of too many examples of what appeared to be local underage online prostitutes on CL/BP in recent history, except for the sting example, which doesn't count because it was artificially created. That sting only identified that there may be a 'demand' for underage girls, but not necessarily a supply. I have no doubt that there is some local ones from time to time on there, but not to the extent that you see it in larger cities. If you believe the media stories, a person might think there are dozens/hundreds of them available in local areas. I'm not seeing that however. I'm not complaining, it's a good thing. But I think it's just another example of the media reporting a non story here. I'm just wondering what other peoples thoughts on it are.

It's not a habit I've ever gotten into but one thing that worked for a relative that did quit was to keep in mind the benefits of quitting. I don't mean just the general idea of knowing that it's healthier but the specific time frame of when each benefit kicks in. It gave him a milestone to aim for, where he kept telling himself if he could manage to stay off cigarettes until the next benefit he'd be doing well. Once he reached it he'd make the next milestone his goal so that he kept having something solid to shoot for. And so on and so on. Below is one of the image that breaks the timeline down. On the flip side, depending on the spa's policy if the session goes into overtime, the MA may be charged the extra time for the room. That is something to be aware of as well. A feel for timing is important for an attendant and comes with experience. If you had a great time perhaps it's just inexperience and best to take the positive from it. Also... as a heads up to the ladies... be aware that in cities where they have and stringently enforce bylaws regarding sex workers, such as Saskatoon, they browse B P and some of the boards to find the unlicensed workers, set up appointments, issue a fine for working unlicensed and ask them to leave town. Its a bitch of a habit - I still smoke, but did manage to quit previously for 2 years. I'm a believer of finding out where your problem triggers are. If you can go 4 weeks without smoking, its not the actual nicotine you are craving, so stop smoking products probably won't work. If however, you can't get past a day, then use any form of products out there. I've even used the patch and the inhaler at the same time, it helped me with the withdrawals. Just talk to someone who had a heart attack and nearly died. Look at the real issues that smoking causes. Get it in your head that smoking is worse then the withdrawals. I'm with Emily - cold turkey is the way to go. If you need some help for the first couple of days, chew gum, eat fruit. Most of all though, stay away from other smokers and things that trigger your urges. It gets easier, and remember, the monster is going to try to do anything to get you to smoke again. Think about if you were marooned on an island - what would you do then? You wouldn't be able to smoke, you won't die of not smoking - but smoking will kill you. If you slip today, stop, redirect and don't give up. Tomorrow will be a better day! Good luck!

Not every club need offer the brothel service option. If girls don't want to work the brothel end or offer only select services that is also something that should be accommodated. I don't think it's that different from what's going on now. Some girls provide higher mileage than others. Over the past several years, I have visited Barbs and BF regularly while in Ottawa on business. When there is a good connection with a lady in the CR, I'll compliment her and ask if she has any interest in work outside of the club, as I have a hotel room and would love to continue this in a more private setting. Sorry to burst bubbles, but 25% is too low. I would say about 50%. I agree many dancers keep that side of the business and their affairs quiet, but many would or have escorted. And although I won't say at what clubs, and I realize that talking about extras in SC's is frowned upon in here, I will say generally from what I have seen and heard from those in the industry, there are a lot of extras going on in the champagne rooms around town that basically are the same services offered by escorts. MA's are giving more "extras" so as not to lose clients to the SC's. Now I will say that I don't have first hand knowledge of that, but did get it from someone who's judgement and knowledge I trust.

I've recently read elsewhere where members say/assume SPs most probably can't hold down "real jobs" or are probably not educated enough to have one so they choose to be SPs instead. They also add to the latter by saying SPs prefer to make easy money (and tax free) the easy and lazy way (on their backs)... We also sleep in until noon because we party all night lol Sometimes I do not know if I should laugh, cry or pull my hair out...

That is among the first questions newbie clients post on various boards, and among the first assumptions posted in comments whenever the topic comes up by random public people. The 2nd one would be coercion, but the first one tends to be STDs, as if sex workers are incapable of using condoms, or even consider using them.
