I trust I'm not repeating anything, but I have found that many of the people on Lyla/CERB are very interesting. I would love to hear your story. That includes the clients, too. I am sure that they have a story to tell. My story begins when I was a child. I was born in England. My mother always told us to respect working women, because they provided a valuable service. That attitude has prevailed my entire life. That life has been rich, fulfilling, and successful in the real world. As an older woman, I found myself becoming a counterpart to mature, successful men. A connection of mutual choice on an intellectual, sexual and even spiritual level, without the dross of expectation. Simply put, I love men. Compensation is the boundary. What is your story? Great post! ;) -Is there life without Lulus? Only pant that can take me gardening, shopping, and bench pressing. Before that, there were ponte pants; they were more flared, but just as versatile. I like to mix yoga pants with accessories like big silk scarves, leather motorcycle style jackets, men's white shirts with a cinched waist, and high heeled boots. Or try a silk pyjama top with layers of necklaces... Personally, my all-time favorite is leather pants. It just seems like no European woman is without them. Even the pleathers can look very good. Personally I love yoga pants. 2 reasons for that... 1) Super comfy and they are the closest I come to wearing nothing at all. 2) Being blessed to find male and female physiques appealing, I can tell you a booty in yoga pants is as hot or hotter than a booty in a pair of well fitted jeans! I have had many clients request I wear them and I can see the appeal! However, they can also look pretty craptacular if you wear them at the wrong time and place! Walmart = yes! Fancy dinner = NO!

I'm not sure if I am changing the intent of this thread or not, but it is certainly related. Retirement is a big thing financially as has already been written about but also psychologically. I know a few individuals who were in high stress jobs that upon retirement were bored out of their minds. They found that they needed something to occupy their time, and regretted the decision. Another friend who had an amazing professional career went to work at the take out window at Tims and absolutely loved it. When I retired I figured that I could take a year and putter on my beautiful old home and property. Now here I am seven years later and still puttering and not the least bit bored and I am loving it. Life is short enough for some so for me to retire from a job that I truly loved was a wonderful decision. The passing of my wife two years afterwards and before she had decided to retire was a huge blow and I always now encourage people to retire when they can financially and take some well deserved time to relax and enjoy. As for CPP I took it at 60 because I have no vibes that I am going to live past the break even point. Not morbid, just a bird in the hand sort of thing. :)

Well boys, book now, book often and just buy the damn book. Mika is no bait and switch. Her English is solid and her humour is infectious. I was with my wife for 24 years, happily married for 17 of those. I truly believed that we would grow old together, but unfortunately life has a way of throwing a monkey wrench in your plans. She past away almost exactly a year ago from a rare form of cancer. I have been a client in this industry for well over 20 years... I have an age restriction of 30+. I am older and I find it's a generation gap for me. Most guys I've met under 30 and even those in their early 30s just want to get banged and it's always scripted on their part. Life sometimes throws us a curve ball and we have to cancel but there are some real gentlemen here who realize the work you go though to get ready to spend your time with us and how you can't immediately book someone else to take our place, so if we have to cancel we still donate in full, at least I do (and I know there are others that feel the same way) on those very rare occasions. We also greatly respect what you do for us and treat you with the respect and admiration you deserve. Very sorry to hear you have encountered a few men that are still boys and haven't grown up yet. Yes there is an answer and that is applying the law of attraction to your business. We've all been there in those rough moments and what vibe you put out, you are attracting right back to you. I'm not perfect. There are some days where I'd like to take a strip off of someone but feeling that emotion will bring more of it directed at me. Notice how you will get one WOT calling or texting, you get furious and it happens again and again and again in the same day? That my friend is the law of attraction. When you are saying what you DON'T want, that's all the universe hears and will give you more of it. In my ads, I say "Rates are FIRM". Why? Again when you say the word DON'T, that's all the WOTS tend to hear and will circle around you like a bunch of sharks. Stop saying in ads "I don't do this or that as much as you can. Instead of saying "No blocked calls", you say "Blocked calls will be ignored." I only have callers now who are willing to follow my protocol. Notice how I said in the previous sentence, I ONLY instead of "Don't?". So set your intention of what you DO want and focus on that but not efforting on it either even in a good way wanting it to happen. Just expect it. Don't ask or try to think about how it will happen. Just know good clients will come your way. You have to believe that. Stress, worry and anger all cause resistance to what you really want. Imagine your good intentions ( i.e. having good clients) was a rocket being launched out into the universe. You want to have good clients. The universe HAS to provide you with what you want. This is the law of attraction. However because you may still have wots on the brain and you feel a need to be in control of the situation then a WOT calls, followed by your own personal frustration and then there are more wots. This is called resistance. You need to let go and trust the universe. You have to wake up everyday and tell yourself you will be seeing nice clients and they will all follow your protocol. Any fear or worry will cause the rocket to go the other way to Wotville. My business has changed as a result with the above info and I have helped a few other friends of mine in the business with learning about the law of attraction and how to apply it in all areas of their life. I'd love to teach a crash course on this for other ladies because it really has changed a lot of things for me in a positive way. Also gratitude meditation works wonders for me in my business because it allows me to appreciate what I already have instead of focusing on what I don't have. See the difference there? When you appreciate, the universe will give you more. Never insult the universe by not appreciating. You need to buy the book "Ask and it is Given" by Esther and Jerry Hicks. This will change anything and everything about you will react to life's situations whether they are major or minor. I still gets the WOTS here and there but you have to respond favorably to YOURSELF instead of reacting to them. I still have my moments but they are few and far between as opposed to wanting to tell them to literally go eff themselves which I would never do because I'm a professional but that's my inner voice coming out right now. lol. I'm sure many have seen me bitch or be rather upfront on certain threads on this site but then I let it go. I have 68 seconds before it becomes a manifestation in my life. I'm able to get out of a mood quicker than I was before because I know what's coming for me if I don't! Once again, I'm not perfect but I'm aware of the tools needed to be used to change my attitude and I do it. There are the secrets that wealthy millionaires use all the time! Notice how the book "The Secret" had so much hype surrounding it 7 or 8 years ago? Why did people give up on it and claim it didn't work? Because they wanted their manifestations or their wants and needs immediately. They wanted it and kept saying "Where is it?" which is resistance so they never received it. It doesn't work like that. And as for winning the lottery, the words "winning" and "lottery" are a large feat and uphill battle words to being with. They are resistance words because they are based on odds which is something else that also has to do with resistance. Set out the intention like mailing a letter, forget about it and it will come back to you. Trust me! I do it everyday. I have small manifestations happening for me. I tend to manifest good things. I can think about a client I haven't seen in a while, set the intention that they will call, forget about them and a few days later they call! Sometimes I have even managed to do this in a matter of a couple of hours and one time in 15 minutes while I was out the Home Depot. lol. I have a list of regulars I do this with in my mind and do it at the beginning of each week. One time 2 out of the 5 called and the other 3 the following 2 weeks after that. This is not luck. It's the universe responding and giving me the manifestations I requested. I also see triple numbers on license plates, on the internet and everywhere I go up to 20 times a day. This means I'm in alignment with the universe when I see this. It's being in sync. But that's a whole other subject which has to do with spiritual awakening and being conscious. I so sorry you are having a rough time. This is a lonely profession and if you have no one to vent to it can be even more stressful. First of all, you set the rules. Don't let others make you think otherwise. Plan you day and do things you enjoy. Nothing worse then planning on doing something you enjoy, someone books you, then you put your plans on hold and then they cancel. So, I fit their bookings around my plans and not the other way around. My regulars are my main source of pleasure and income, so they know when they need to contact me to set up an encounter. I never sit around waiting for an encounter. I go about my day, do what I want to do, and if I can see someone great. However, if I don't see someone, I still had a great day. Don't know if this helps, but don't let the few bad apples ruin it for you. Make sure you are screening properly to weed out those that habitually cancel.
