@HoldenG8 I will not get into detail of hotels as there may be some watching and paying attention. I have done some personal travel to investigate areas and see what protocols are. I tend to give detailed instructions for where to park, enter, directions for the elevator, and how to leave if there is any issues, Just be aware that some of us may not be at our normal hotels as higher end places seem to be more strict since covid-19.

Be sure to stop yourself from whistling the Mission Impossible theme at least when you’re walking right by the front desk... Hopefully with the 20% incentive in NB and the Atlantic bubble we’ll see busier hotels. Until then hotels with private room entrances and side doors are definitely the way to go.

The discussion form is not for members only to view. It's still public for anyone to see. Let's not push the extra restrictions in place with a full out hunt/ban on us by providing a list. It's a big reason why we won't give out locations upon request, you will get a round location instead. As we need to keep it safe for clients and ourselves. The east coast providers are in communication at all times for places to stay and even more so now. Many of us have had to do extra work to make sure a place is still discreet enough to stay at.

I wonder if it would be worthwhile to start a thread listing hotel suggestions for some of the more frequented cities. I think it was Katherine of Halifax who mentioned staff questioning guests coming in to a hotel in Sydney. Don’t want to find out the hard way that some hotels have extra precautions. Maybe helpful for first time visitors. Just a thought.
