  1. Fun thread, Emily. At first I was surprised it was a woman asking. Then I noticed you added a "Why?" to the question and could not help but think that a man would not do that. Which in and of itself says something. We have our preferences and there is no real answer for them. Women are awesome. It confuses and delights us. Both are great, but I will answer the survey by declaring I am an ass man. Now having said that, I can also safely say I am totally and utterly obsessed with breasts, its just that that obsession is much less powerful than my female ass obsession. As with everything all of us have been saying though this is generalisation. There are some women who have nicer breasts than they do asses. Some women just have a figure that complements their breasts specifically. Guys may not articulate it but we are attracted to the feminine curves that generally shape the body. "Incidental curves" I sometimes called them. Below I am going to describe two examples. You should know about me, yes, I am an ass man, and I, unlike most men I prefer tall women, brunettes and small breasts. There is a very good female friend of mine I will call K. (She has an unusual name so I am not going to use it here for discretionary reasons. Sorry if that is too paranoid.) K is short, very blonde, has a kind of flattish ass, and very large breasts. I totally want to do her. :-) She is gorgeous and her breasts are amazing. K just has curves like her hips and waist and has a shoulder width and other aspects of her overall build that make big boobs look good on her. Very good. So I am an as man who likes small breasts, but K is beautiful in the face, and has amazing blue eyes and a body that shouts "Big boobs need here" and that shout is answered very well. K does not have too much of an ass but I want to have sex with her and I fantasise about burying my head in her tits. One of my other friends, Catherine is a hottie with a very nice ass. She also has _huge_ and gorgeous breasts. Great figure in every other way, too. If Catherine had say A cup boobs I would describe her as being hot blonde with a great ass. She does have a great ass and I am into that. For some reason though, just her breasts are gorgeous and in my case not because of their size, they have fantastic qualities otherwise. My short description of her appearance is hot blonde with awesome, huge tits. Even though I am an ass man and she has it going on there too. Well I do not know why, but I think her breasts are her best feature and when I fantasise about Catherine it mostly centers around those amazing, amazing tits. Emily, both are great to touch, but I find myself when doing the act focusing on the breasts. Responsiveness is part of the reason why. Grizzly Slushie's post was funny and true. :-) I think I am also more conscious of the fact that a woman is more stimulated by breast touching. Over-thinking what my sex partner may be thinking makes me more breast focused. Perhaps, let us say very likely, I am wrong, but I assume women think of their ass as something they sit on, and their breasts in many ways, including a source of fun. Eastcoastgent: Ha! You made me laugh. Good one. eleazar: The question Emily posed was very specific, so all that guys are addressing it, but I have no doubt that all of us are with you on what you said, just to different degrees. Lots of other things make up superficial attraction and lots of other things make up deep attraction. We just had the obvious things first to discuss. However, I would be surprised if anyone did not metaphorical nod while reading your post. I can think of an example for this as well from the many female friends I lust over. One friend is very shot and thin. Thin to the degree that it hurts her figure. Small breasts, ass is pretty but would be prettier if filled out more, etc. She is good looking for sure, but mostly due to an overall feminine body and pretty face. No in your face womanly attributes. However she garners the most attention from guys in a group often. She exudes energy in her movements and speech. Always described her as hyper. This goes over well, and there is some extra thing I can put my finger on. For some reason when watching her you know, you just know, that the energy in her would come out in sex. Maybe it doesn't, sadly I do not know, but that is what a guys subconscious is thinking watching her. Heard the expression "Spring in his step."? My friend just has "I am very doable" bounce to her step. Emily: Perhaps scientific study is needed to answer your question. I volunteer to be your lab assistant.
  2. [/url]nntsci: Interesting idea. Thanks for starting the discussion and extra thanks for the ladies for answering it and providing us with data and perspective. Two of the comments made me wonder though. How often do women SPs get women clients by themselves? I would think this to be very, as in I-discovered-a-new-comet, rare. Is this correct? Regardless for women SPs who do same sex encounters, I would be very interested in knowing from you if women clients share any traits that reflect society's attitudes and assumptions. For example, are they more shy than men because society makes them think this is something only men do, or are they more guarded because society's prejudices against same sex couples? (These are just examples.) For that matter do you have any favourite women clients? Considering that they would be in such a small minority of the customers I would be surprised if you did, just due to sheer numbers, but interested to know. Apologies if this contributes to topic drift.
  3. Chapter 1: Locating Your Own Penis Step One: Make sure you are male. If you are not, skip to Chapter Two: How to See a Man Naked. Step Two: Ask your partner to undress. Step Three: Trace back where all your thought processes are coming from. There you go. Chapter Two: How to See a Man Naked Step One: Make sure you are female. If you are not simply locate a mirror and dispense with the next steps. Step Two: Find a man. Step Three: Ask, offer beer or wait long enough. Sorry, I do not know why I did not put more effort into resisting typing that. I almost every time ask the SP I am with for what I call "coaching". While we are physical I want to make it clear that if she wants me to do something specific or if there is way to make what I am doing more pleasurable for her to mention it. Every time the reply was a giggle in a "it's OK, don't worry about it, amateur I have this under control" tone. Have no idea if this is good or bad. Regardless I try. In a way any time the sex is improved because you communicated well with the SP with you are with you are getting some lessons even if they do not necessarily apply to all women you will be with.
  4. I very recently found out about a programme called Pixelitor. It is amazing considering how small the team on it is. Basic image editing, boasts about its many filters. Playing around with it I was impressed with the interface on the filters. One thing that stood out was the Text tool (which is under filters). It has built in super simple controls for creating a visible watermark. http://pixelitor.sourceforge.net It appears easy to use, but lacks documentation. Discovered that one should create a new layer when creating text, unless the text is to be a watermark. For invisible watermarks, I skip them and suggest Stegnography instead.
  5. You should consider Panda Security. They have free and paid versions. They also have a free live CD version which connects to the Internet and gets the latest definitions when it is run. This may be inconvenient in the sense that it does not run itself automatically, but it has the advantage of not being vulnerable to malware that attacks any aspect of booting or hides itself deep in the system. I heard it, checked it, burned a disc in case I needed it, but I am not a regular user of it and am not specifically recommending it, just suggesting you look at it. http://www.pandasecurity.com
  6. There was a time when I would have agreed with all the comments here, but I have recently had recommendations experiences that make me think GIMP is not as hard for regular users that some have indicated already. I told a few people I would try and find something easier than GIMP but was still free and could do the large variety of things they wanted. They all tried GIMP while waiting and all loved it. Could be a coincidence but I am starting to think that GIMP _can_ be allot for a regular person, but does not have to be. You do not have to know every feature to use any one feature. Way more importantly though, it is free and if you need help using it, we are all here for you. (At least I am, seems like other would be as well.)
  7. I know I am late to the conversation, but for posterity, I thought I would mentioned that it sounds to me like you are experiencing backscatter. Spammers will have programmes guess email addresses. Millions of combinations of words and numbers in front of a known to exist domain. They send spams that have their address spoofed as things like [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], etc and eventually it finds a real address. The people receive spam from the spoofed address and think it really came from the "reply to" address. The automated blocking, and personal notes saying stop it are examples of backscatter. So it is possbile no one hacked you, and your computer is virus and malware free, just some spammer randomly generated a guess of an email address that happens to be yours. Still, if you use Windows, and I suggest switching for most people, do run anti-malware programmes and take normal security precautions anyway. Just saying it sounds like, as in it could be but there is no way to be sure, that it could be backscatter. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backscatter_(email) ]
  8. I installed both, plus Opera. I switched between using them every once in a while. Think it is a good idea to do this. Find myself using Firefox the most. This is because Opera has made the address bar text illegible and despite its long history of extensive customisation does not allow the user to fix this. Before that I was using Opera 90% of the time. The elimination of easy to access drop down menus drives me nuts. So I cannot bother with Chrome for too long. Firefox is copying every problem I have mentioned so far, but you can configure those problems away. In terms of standards support, functionality, etc, etc, it is pretty much the same. Firefox has been around so much long they have many more extensions, but Chrome has a whole wack and getting more all the time. Firefox was getting less efficient every day and using more resources all the time but they have started to address that and the situation is improving. And I hate to contribute to topic drift, but for all that is holly do not use Internet Explorer for anything.
  9. Julias; I am most certainly not a vegetarian but my best friend is and I hope my information can provide some indirect help. She used to have a public Facebook page called VegetarianOttawa that provided news and recipes but last I heard she was moving it because she got wise as to Facebook being Facebook. She may have a website you could use, but I could not find it, but her Twitter feed is here: https://twitter.com/#!/VegetarianOtawa When I visited my friend in Ottawa a year or two ago she took me a vegan showcase event of some sort held by the "National Capital Vegetarian Association" who have a website. http://www.ncva.ca/eng/ Now I know this not what you asked for, but I thought that this could help you in the long term. You can establish contact with people local in your area who are subject matter experts.
  10. Kubrickfan: I have no doubt you are correct and it made me wonder if the couple was chosen for both their sex and their attractiveness in order to generate positive publicity. However I do not want to over-think it to the point where I am being dismissive of Petty Officers Gaeta and Snell. They deserve congratulations for the historic event and their bravery of making a gay kiss in public where they were. Your point makes my brain hurt even more when I think of the long standing bigotry of the US military. If you are a man, like the majority of the people who set the rules, and you look at that photo and do not think it is awesome, then you are gay -in which case you should have sympathy for those the rules affect. I should rephrase my first sentence in the above paragraph, as a study showed (http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/nov/30/us-military-gay-reform-poll) that the majority of US forces personnel are fine with serving with homosexuals. It is the politicians who create the rules that held things back.
  11. I just wanted to say I appreciate the encoruagement, and that I did it. Had no idea it would generate another two pages of discussion. Sorry.
  12. Cristy: I am with you on this one. While I have favourites, sometimes just being different, regardless of origin can add a sexy edge to someone you are already attracted to. Never thought of US Southern accents that way, but I met online someone from Virginia. She visited me in person for 6 weeks and I must admit I found it sexy to hear her talk about anything. Cato: I have met Roksi and have to say to your comment, hell yeah! She is amazing regardless, but the accent just kills. Scottish and Irish do allot for me.
  13. Thanks to all the comments over the last page or 2 or 3 or whatever it is up to now. Very encouraging. Although this is very late (after all this thread started months ago, and my comments were related to events before it started), I did post the recommendation. Winnipegcub, it was very thoughtful of you to point out how an SP may feel if one asks her about posting a recommendation, and it got me thinking, but it turns it is rule #3 under the posting rules for the recommendation section. You have to ask. Well, I did, and she said she would like me to do so, I did. 12 views the first day. 200 the second. :-) The real point of this follow up post so late is to express thanks to everyone who changed my perception of CERB to being much more encouraging.

    help

Sorry I do not have a definitive answer for you, but hopefully this can lead you to something. You can access your voicemail from any phone by calling your own cell number and interrupting the greeting by pressing a button that varies depending on your voicemail setup. Then when prompted, put in your password and it will let you go through new and saved voicemails. (For example on Rogers you press the # key to interrupt the greeting and be asked for a password.) Now if you can make this call from a computer, you could use software to record the call. Problem is to call a phone number on the regular public telephone network from a VoIP (voice over Internet Protocol) number you need access to a service that connects the two and I doubt spending the money on a month's subscription to a SIP VoIP service would not be worth the money. (Maybe it is.) An analogue telephone adaptor and even an old modem could be used for this purpose, but its set up is little much to describe in this one post. However, if you want more details on any of these suggestions, please just ask. I have account with an SIP based VoIP provider and used Twinkle to call a voicemail account and record the messages once. Now that I think about it, I am only assuming that all SIP based VoIP companies charge by the month because that is all I saw when I did research to choose a provider for me. *5 Minutes later* OK, some research shows you can buy SIP to regular phones service on a per minute basis after all. In theory you could sign with say Les Net (http://les.net), pay the $3.50 sign up fee, then 1.1 cents per minute to call your voicemail from your computer using SIP software that records calls like Jitsi (http://jitsi.org). Les Net was just an example, I have never used them and have no idea what they are like to deal with. You could find more examples by doing a web search for "SIP per minute". I have used Jitsi. Not bad. Perfectly fine software. Lots of options are out there though. Search the web for "SIP software call recording" to find other options. If you really want the recording you could change your password, and erase the other messages you have, then tell me at some pre arranged time, then wait a few minutes for me to call your voicemail and record the message. Then when I give confirmation of it being successful you can change the password back to what it was and I will send you the file. I realize you probably do not want a stranger to hear the message, but I thought I would offer just in case.
  15. Grand Parade is the main one, the one downtown, but all across the city there are ceremonies.
  16. The Wooden Monkey is a favourite of mine, and I suggest it specifically to visitors as they have Nova Scotia/local food when possible motiff to their menu. I just read in the newspaper about a place called 308 South by Tarek opening up on Quinpool Road. It serves a combination of Acadian and Lebanese food. Any restaurant that serves completely randomly combines ethic foods needs to be checked out. Also, I have no idea where else in Halifax you can try Acadian dishes. Jane's on the Commons has great food and is an interesting experience. You would never guess that such a high end place could be in such a small space, inside an old, but not historic, building, occupying what was once a comic store, in a regular, definitely not high end part of town. If you can afford it, get a private driving tour of the city by town car or limo from "Tours by Towncar". (Google them and you will find their website.) The best free walking around experiences I can think of are better suited for the summer. :-) If you are a beer drinker know that Halifax has quite the share of micro-breweries. Lots of local beer to try.
  17. Speedstick: Very true. A co-worker of mine discover a white dust power of some sort on her (gorgeous) bum one day. She lifted the blazer of her uniform stuck her rear out towards me and asked "Hey, why didn't you tell me about this?" All I could say was "I try not to get caught when I am staring at your ass."

I recommend Virtualbox for virtualization over other mentioned pieces of software, but I have no problems with those other programmes mentioned. If you virtualize you can run software that is just for Linux and see what it is like and get the feel for using it. However, Linux is not controlling your computer, ultimately the virtualization software is and to a degree the host OS. You do not get the full appreciation of of what a real install is like in the same way you would if you dual booted. However I only mention it because you asked about the differences between virtualization and dual booting. With virtualization you can quickly, easily and risk free test the waters and test them very throughly. Phaedrus: I didn't know about. Normally I do the backup and fresh install upgrade method, but recently tried the automated distro update for Kubuntu. Didn't work. :-) Crapped out on one package and did not do the rest of the upgrade. Perhaps I waited too long between releases. Went back to normal methods.

    Linux ideas

Hey, Guy. Ubuntu is the big one to send newbies to, but their recent change in desktop environments has caused everyone to freak out. Big changes usually do this, but I think there is something to people's concerns as they seem to just want to make a phone interface and make desktop users live with it. Also, I would hesitate to ask someone new to Linux to go through the learning period with a new to everyone desktop. That having been said there are variations of Ubuntu. One is Kubuntu, which is Ubuntu running the KDE desktop environment which is good for beginners. (http://www.kubuntu.org) There is a Linux dsitro called Mint, quickly rising in popularity. They took Ubuntu and added a bunch of stuff and tweaked it further for convenience. While Ubuntu is a distro that made using and configuring Linux easy, Mint is Ubuntu where they used that power to already configure and install software and settings most people would benefit from. (http://www.linuxmint.com) I would like to recommend Mepis as well. It has two particularly great things about it. Special custom software to help configure everything and a thorough manual that gets install with the distro placed in an easy and obviously accessible spot. Mepis is based on Debian, a distro that many others are based on so it has a large amount of software packages one can easily install despite not being one of the more widely known distros. (http://www.mepis.org) These are my new to Linux recommendations. I have other recommendations if you have specific concerns. (Like "Hey, I study results from the Large Hadron Collider" or "I am not afraid to jump into the somewhat technical and do not maintaining the system every week for great performance.")
  20. Winnipegcub/Katherine: My comment was meant more of an explanation and that I felt it takes awhile/requires jumping some hurdles. Did not mean to imply I thought there was no way to do it and sorry if it came across as me saying it was too difficult to do. I have been posting in the General Canada section and a little bit in the NS section. Not with as much forethought as either of you expressed, nor with as much confidence, but I have been doing what you said. Winnipegcub: I would hate to think something was onerous for Candii because of me. Considering our verbal conversation when we last met I would not think what I said was a big deal. Looking for a recommendation, I am in. Just thought it was unfair not to warn that I thought it might not be good for me to do it. After reading your post though I do think it is a good idea for me to just go and do it. Winnipegcub and Katherine again: Thanks to both of you for the encouragement to keep writing. Candii: You still rock, beautiful.
  21. April, please advise on how you doing once you have time.
  22. ladiitrill: For the record, I would wholeheartedly recommend you, and have no problem telling the world. When I commented on you in one thread the reaction was "we don't know you, so your comment does not count." I completely understand the desire to not be "taken in" or allow negative changes to the board's tone to happen by making it easy for someone to intentionally manipulate things. Blocking the instant results/instant gratification from attempts to deceive helps keep things in good order. So all in all I believe it to be good overall, but it does make it difficult for me to help you out. I did not write you a recommendation even though I am allowed now because I was worried it would hurt your reputation by virtue of me not being one of "the guys". My worry is if my recommendation is the first, someone will point it out and then someone else will point out I am not one of the regular circle and then all of sudden suspicion is cast upon it and by extension you. If you still want me to write one, I will. Otherwise I will wait and when once one of the accepted members writes a recommendation to get the ball rolling in a credible way, I will write one as well. BTW, several people sent me private messages asking about you. I said good things and sent them your way.
  23. April, you are probably OK, but I am a little concerned. Nausea and light headedness are symptomatic of allergies , but you would probably be dead by now if you had a serious allergy to the sting. Here in Nova Scotia we can call 811 at any time to talk to a nurse. I tried to find the equivalent for Saskatchewan and found 1-877-800-0002. Hope my info is accurate. I am going to go with no need to rush to the emergency room, but very strongly encouraging you to call that number. Again: 1-877-800-0002 Hope you are OK.
  24. Nathalie: I did some reading on this on it seems that the malware that did this to you is being created in different ways and there are reports of it affecting web browsers other than Firefox. Sometimes it is part of a Flash Application (always set flash to allow no more than 0k of local memory storage or better yet avoid it when possible), sometimes it is part of a fake tool bar or other fake extension. They all have in common the symptoms you described. The reason I bring this up is because just not using Firefox means it is still on your computer, and it was not part of the browser itself and this would worry me. Who knows what else it is capable of? On Windows Malwarebytes apparently gets rid of it. Have yet to find a definitive Mac solution but surely it is out there. Reinstalling Firefox will not necessarily get rid of it since the uninstaller may not ride of all settings, bookmarks, extensions, plug-ins, etc. Sorry if I am stating the obvious. Really all I am doing is encouraging you to not forget about it and research this more to make sure it gets off of your system even if you no longer see the symptoms in your web browser. Oh and I wish you good luck.
  25. Since you asked for inexpensive I am not going to even consider discussing Adobe products, but if it is a one time only thing perhaps the 30 day trial ones will suit. Now that I know more I can suggest three things. Unshaken, free as in price, Java based programme just for this purpose. http://www.zen147963.zen.co.uk/Unshake/ Never used it, hear it is brutal on resources. Two GIMP plugins that are totally free that do this sort of thing are ReFocus http://refocus.sourceforge.net/ and Iterative Refocus http://refocus-it.sourceforge.net/ Astronomers are very big into this sort of thing apparently. SImg is one programme they use. Unshaken's author though mentions that his programme is not good for astronomy work so it is possible that the reverse is also true. SImg http://www.simg.de/index.e.html Good luck, again do not expect miracles. Linear slight blur can be slightly improved upon. Really messed up photos are messed up. Please just ask for more info on the subject though if you need it.
