  1. Wow! That was a loooooong quote with a short comment! I'm hesitant about crypto currency as those valuations just don't have any connection with my reality nor comprehension. I keep all my gold, silver and platinum under my mattress along with my saffron and Lycopodium powder.
  2. Well it's okay to be @hopeful but I wouldn't hold your breath - unless, of,course, that's your covid safety protocol!
  3. This is an unfortunate situation but also likely avoidable. Here are some quick suggestions: I make these with the understanding that you've seen escorts before, for outcalls, and not had problems. 1. Since you're now here on lyla use ladies who post on here and have a 'presence' and reputation on the board. You'll be able to have a good sense of what they're like and whether they might be a good fit by doing a review of their posts, comments and also recommendations if they have any. Some don't have recos but that doesn't necessarily eliminate them as good providers. 2. In my experience leolist is a bit of a crap shoot, has a much greater number of fake and misleading ads. Many lyla ladies also post on leolist so you can do a cross reference. 3. Do your homework and search out suggestions (ask) in your local area's forum. Again, reviewing the profiles of member who make suggestions will give you a sense of the value of the suggestions. You've given out your specific home address to complete strangers yet haven't identified the city/province you're posting from..... makes it a little difficult to provide useful support. 4. Outcalls to your home are much less common than travelling to visit a lady at their incall. Your situation could require this so I'll simply suggest that I would never expect an outcall to happen without having paid a deposit. In my 10+ years in this lifestyle I've only hosted a few outcalls to my house and they all went smoothly but the background work was done and the ladies visiting were totally comfortable with my situation - the foundation for an enjoyable visit. 5. I wouldn't worry too much about having given out your home address - not much you can do about it now and besides, they still don't know that you actually live there (I assume) and they're not likely to invest the effort to do all the nefarious actions to do much harm. Too much effort for an unlikely benefit that could go very far south for them. I don't know any provider (I know a lot of them, lol) that would head out to the home of some unknown dude who has contacted them through some text app and hasn't paid a deposit to demonstrate their positive intentions. It doesn't take much imagination to consider the circumstance and suspicious that the lady faces in attending your outcall. From what you've described I am surprised that the arrangements were actually agreed to.... There are resources and support available here on lyla but you're going to need to engage to access them effectively. Good luck
  4. There's a conspiracy theory that Leonard Cohen returned from the grave to bless this song.
  5. I had to go to see a urologist to check out if there was something wrong with my penis (some unusual lumps which turned out to be nothing and resolved without intervention) and he asked me whether I had sounding done..... and then had to explain to me what it was. He explained that he didn't think I would have but was obligated to ask, lol.
  6. Yeah, I only use cash at a club as it's the only way things work for the ladies..... have had to resort to an ATM before though never at Tease.... managed to stay on budget, even though it took some self control. Also managed to avoid any 'sperm of the moment' decisions at the club leading to visiting the motel but I can see cash being the only option there too.
  7. Love this @lydiahardwood! You and @NotchJohnson have already set a high bar, but I won't be deterred from creating something :) ..... it takes me time is all. This prose addressing SW and the 'sale of a person's body' immediately made me think of this song. Black History month may be just past but every month should be Black History month just like every day should be SWers rights day. I love Rhiannon Giddens and it ain't just because I'm a banjo picker. I've even managed to troll a few Trump supporters by commenting on how long, skilled and beautiful her fingers are: and so unlike Donald tRump's! It was such an honour to see her perform this live. Go Carolina Chocolate Drops.
  8. Not that I'm currently anywhere near Bathurst but it's helpful if you post a link to identify which 'Kaylee' is being referred to and even more helpful to use the 'warnings' forum along with the appropriate link...... As a geologist with experience in building logging roads..... I do know Bathurst, lol
  9. I'm not there...... yet. But I found this hilarious :) And here's another clever one from the same family:
  10. I just imagine her without the red bra..... oh, the matching lipstick!
  11. This is @lydiahardwood's 366th day here . n lyla! I want to acknowledge her creativity, energy and support as she works effectively to build the community here on lyla. Thanks Lydia! Her initiatives have been the antithesis to the damn pandemic, building connections here in a year which we've all needed them! You're a star kiddo :)
  12. It's ophthalmologist - even mine had it misspelled on an instruction sheet handed out when I went in for a cataract surgery assessment.... so you're forgiven. PSA from a helluva spella!
  13. Okay, let me first identify that I"m posting from Ottawa, haven't seen @Hailey19 and can't even travel to NB. Once I'm able to, I would definitely consider visiting her simply based on her clear and respectful response above. Lyla is a recommendation board and there have been a couple of invitations in this thread to post one. I would hate to see lyla devolve into a lowly version of terb. I had a quick glance at @canuck77's posting dates and content. Nothing particularly helpful nor inspiring. Encounters always involve at least two participants and it's always a two-way street. (To quote John Prine: "Chased a rainbow down a one-way street, dead end"). Have to admit I'm grateful the ladies don't post about my disappointments and failings. There was an interesting discussion some years ago here in Ottawa which was started due to concern over 'fake pics' (in the discussion it was made clear the pics weren't of the lady but were certainly not misleading nor 'inaccurate') and comments from @LuxeMulvarioutlined various business models that providers use and where and how they make their investments: don't expect someone to be providing bags, putting your groceries in them and carrying them out to the car for you when you choose to shop at Nofrills - I'm not implying this analogy applies to @Hailey19 in any way (every indication is her pics are her!). Book a 2+ h visit and, if you enjoy yourself, post a reco. If you don't enjoy yourself first ask what you could have done to make it better. A too long distraction/intrusion from Ottawa, waterat p.s. if I can find the thread I referenced from Ottawa I'll post it in the general discussion area
  14. And while I'm on a science geek run here I also admire the work of Cecelia Payne who figured out that the solar spectrum and stellar spectra in general indicated stars are mostly made up of hydrogen. Her ground breaking insights and analyses were dismissed by many of her male professors at Cambridge and Harvard and despite this she went on to be a pioneer of modern astronomy.
  15. Also wish to acknowledge Lise Meitner who recognized and discovered nuclear fission and yet her make colleague received the Nobel price. Her work is a fascinating story and deserves to be fully recognized on International Women's Day.
  16. Have to give a shout out to Gwen Jacobs for many reasons..... one of them being the line I love to use on my American friends: 'You may have the right to bear arms but we have the right to bare breasts'
  17. Probably you can see the answer to your own question by applying the 'golden rule' - how would you like to treated?.... Have you shared your pics with her? Let her know any surgical procedures you've had? Let her know if you use an ED drug? Don't overthink this, You just sound a bit nervous to me - there are no guarantees offered as to your experience, chemistry matters, even for a massage. Go allow yourself to have a good time and enjoy it!
  18. Thanks so much @Liza for sharing your thoughts and approach on a topic that is so rarely discussed. It shouldn't be surprising to recognize many common sentiments from both sides of the experience of hiring an escort though I hadn't seriously thought about it much from the female perspective. I will probably come back with another question or two but I need to mull over this great interview before I do! I always appreciate @lydiahardwood's efforts in sharing these interviews with us and @Liza already expressed it perfectly:
  19. Damn it! @OldandNerdy you need to advertise your yard sales here on lyla. Get with the program, man! Admitting my age and ignorance: I thought ngl was referring to natural gas liquids..... and I prefer to wash my 'dishes' by hand :)
  20. Why instagram model's pics often get stolen.......
  21. Oh @Allie Zeon - thank you - there's nothing better than a picture provided by a lyla lady, especially one I know. Don't throw your back out ..... if I could get to NB I could help with the pictures and at least four other items of housework, if you catch my drift! @NotchJohnson: Amen!
  22. I didn't track down the article to read it but this lyla interview with SWAN from Vancouver may offer some perspective:
  23. This interview with @JuneStarr immediately led me to go visit her last night! We celebrated sex positivity and our interview of each other carried on through the celebrations :) Thanks so much for both interviews @JuneStarr and also thanks to @lydiahardwood - you'll need to add 'matchmaker' to your linked in skill sets.
  24. I first noticed June's ad in the Ottawa schedule section late last week and then read her 'Interview with the Community' on Sunday and knew I had to have a visit with her - what a positive lady. Booking and screening were simple through text and she accepts e-transfers so it was easy to prepay and no trip to the bank needed. She is hosting at a cozy, discrete location with easy street parking. We shared some laughs, stories and thoughtful conversation then, somehow, on the trip to refill our wine glasses, the clothes all wound up on the kitchen floor... although there is a bed available we never made it off the couch, lol. From elegance to adventure to warm intimacy to ecstasy ..... I can't imagine the smile will fade from my face any time soon. You'll find any info you need and contact details on her website: www.junestarr.com She is in town for a couple more days and, if you're fortunate, you may be able to schedule a visit. I'm hoping she'll grace Ottawa again and I'll certainly plan to see her again. What a lovely way to spend a snowy evening!
  25. I doubt that as it would generate more close interaction between staff/guests/visitors to enforce. Many folks use their rooms to conduct business meetings. I may be visiting a hotel tonight so will report back.
