All I can say.. is I hope you distance yourself from this person and develop friendships with people who don't use severe judgement, manipulation and emotional blackmail as their tools to dictate a friendship. I feel badly for Jade-S and am glad she shared her experience with us here. Over my half century plus I've come to understand many things about people and continue to learn more and more each day as do most of us. Over time I have tended to avoid those who never let a few facts get in the way of a good story because they are most usully the ones who never form an informed opinion when they can simply jump to conclusions. My Cerb Goddesses for today are two beautiful ladies. They are friends and duo partners and have travelled extensively together in North America and Europe. They are beautiful, sexy, curvacious and fun fun fun ladies with a Quebecois background and sexy French accents :D grrrrr baby ! I used to work for customer service for Rogers a few years ago. While I got paid more then the $10/hour number that has been brought up here, a lot of times I found myself between a rock and a hard place. Often because of my employer. One of the rules that we had to adhere to was that if the customer was being nasty, we could not hang up, unless we gave them three warnings. I mean how silly is that? Being called every name in the book, and your response was "Sir/Ma'am, please do not use that language or I will have to end the call". By the end of my time there, even if the insult wasn't hurled at me, but just swearing in general, I'd hang up the call, but I could have gotten fired for that. Another common situation was that we would have to provide help for something we had no clue about. And getting no support from Rogers, except "Just google it and figure it out". This was while we had to keep call lengths short, clients happy, and satisfied. Again, employment was dependent on these factors. In my time there, I saw so much turn over. I stuck there because of my patience, and even that ran out which is saying a lot. My point being, is that for a "legitimate" job, I was expected to endure verbal abuse, I was expected to provide a miracle, downright lie for the company on occasions (when it was Rogers fault, but I was not allowed to say it), and so much crap that one should be expected to do for money. Being an SP is a job. They are inherent risks to it (STDs, violent client), and that sucks. But there are many jobs out there that require a certain degree of physical risk, and we don't ban it. As a society, we deem porn okay, stripping okay, but when it comes to two sane, consenting adults (or maybe three or four), accepting money for sex, it becomes trampy? Your friend might be a lovely person, but she is so confused as to the difference between and SP and a sex slave is.

I settled into my seat by the window. It had been another great trip. I'd successfully made the sale, and even managed to catch up with some old friends. And of course, I was able to meet up with a pretty lady or two. But now, my feathered alter ego was packed away safely in my suitcase, along with the fancy clothes he wears and the cheap cell phone he uses. I was ready to take flight again. Not a flight of fancy and fantasy fulfillment this time, but a flight of another kind. A flight home, and back to my dull normal Norman life. I thought of her again. Oh, how could I not. I had already been thinking about her all morning. I sighed. I'm glad I'm leaving, for she's much too dangerous. I was the Icarus of legend, flying on my wings of feathers and wax, slipping the surly bonds of the earth and flying high. Flying recklessly close to the heat and luminescence that she was. But I recall that Icarus fell to his death, getting too close to the sun's incandescence. The feathers on his wings fell away, one at a time, until he was revealed as just an ordinary wingless man, at heights that weren't meant to be for us mere mortals. She brought me to those heights. And I leave this place with the memories of flying high with her. She worked hard, so terribly hard, to give me what I wanted. But that was my fantasy, not hers. My memories will be of the role she played, from behind that pretty mask. I unleashed volley after volley of my charms. Kind words, small deeds, subtle caresses, soft kisses. But I know they clattered uselessly to the ground, deflected by the the armor she wore to protect her heart. I leave this place, my heart touched by her. And I feel a bittersweet sadness, because I know I'll probably never touch hers. I will have to settle for the touch of her skin, my arms around her. I know I should be kind. I shouldn't harass her, make her job more complicated than it is. She gives so much of herself already. I have no right to ask for more. I need to be a gentleman. I really need to leave her alone. But at the same time, I remember that momentary flicker in her eyes, that said her armor might not be so impenetrable after all. And a small part of me would love to see that again. But that would have to be a dilemma for another day. I looked back at the city skyline through the airplane window. She's out there, somewhere. The airplane started to roll.

I do love the water....but unless warm, or at least an extremely warm day you wont find me in it!! That is another thing that is crazy. Everyone thinks that the Gatineau (use to be Hull) police are out to just get English people. Trust me they have enough other issues to deal with than to solely focus on English guys visiting SPs. When you think about it even the Ottawa police don't really worry to much about people visiting SPs on the Ottawa side. As long as you are discreet on either side of the river you will have no problems. I will admit the the old Hull police had a reputation of being pretty hard on English speakers in the past but that was usually because it was the deluge of English speaking drunks leaving Ottawa at 1 am to continue drinking in Hull whose closing time was 3 am. The Hull police in those days did not "suffer fools lightly" and it just so happened most of the fools at that time were English speakers. Anyway, I think we can wrap this whole discussion up before we get too far down the road of English/French relations.

Ya, that's why I prefer weekends. I work downtown, so I'd have to find an SP who's available, leave the office early enough to grab something to eat and head over to the location, timing must be perfect!! Plus, checking ads for schedules & phone numbers at work is completely out-of-the-question, even with the panic button. It'd be hard to feel non-rushed and relaxed and I'd need a shower.

Perhaps i am not supposed to post to this thread but I want to congratulate all the guys mentioned. I am more of a marginal CERB member, not on that much and do not post much. You fellows that are more visable set a high standard and I learn much from you! Your recognition from the ladies is well deserved!

Remember though, in this day and age with even more ladies getting into the business than ever before, not all older SPs are necessarily more experienced than some of the younger ones. I know SPs in the their late 20's/earlier 30's who have more experience than some ladies 40+ who have only recently gotten into the business. I think Roaming Guy pretty well hit the nail on the head, that it's not so much about age, as the attitude. As a mature provider who has been around for the past 15 years, I can say that when I started (part-time), it was agency driven and outcall only. It was a completely different mentality then. GFE was not even heard of and I was only permitted to provided FS with CBJ (no kissing an no daty were allowed). Over the years, the shift being able to work indy, provide incalls, offer one'es own brand of service and of course the Internet revolution, has changed things considerably. It seems now days, anyone with a picture, Internet connection and a cell phone can call themselves a Service Provider. This has provided a tremendous pool of ladies to choose from, not all of them necessarily providing good service. It really is "buyer beware" out there. The good news is though that regardless of age and description you are seeking, you need to do you research. There are many amazing ladies out there, and boards such as CERB and sites like escorts-canada are not fool proof guarantees, but a good place to start in finding someone with a good reputation who offers the type of service you are looking for, regardless of their age.

So sorry, must have been terrible to have gone threw that with whom you thought was a freind.... I really agree that we can be exploited in many other ways on the job market, such as you pointed out waitressing for 10 hour... I know it is hard to hear things like: we dont have a real job....laying on your back is not a real job etc.... But remember, we do a great service for men, sometimes even couples. We can make a man who is insecure feel good about them selves again! We can make a man who feels inadequate feel appreciated! A man who is not ever touched, can feel the nurturing heeling our hands give. We in a way, are a therapist. Helping people to overcome their social anxiety,feeling better about who they are as a man! Us ladies will go to the spa, shopping what have you, but some men find this is their way of rewarding themselves. I think we all have a strong desire to feel we are of good service to people, no matter what job we do, we want to know we do it well! This is our success! I feel successful when I have a gent who is feeling low, sad, inadequate, then after 1 hour with me, his posture is straight, chin up and with an Aura of confidence!! This is my success:) I feel good about this now too:) There are many services and products that are designed all for the benefit of personal pleasure.....this is simply another avenue to accomplish that! I hope you find peace of mind with all of that, and I do hope your friend can open her eyes to the truth of our service. We do not always have to agree with our friends choices in life, but respect is always a must! As for self worth....well as I said, it is about personal goals, and sucess. If you do any job to the best of your abilty, accomplishing what you set out to do, then yes that will weigh in as self worth. So weather you do this service to your best, and she does her job to her best, then both equally have not short changed yourselves in self worth. It is about pride:)

In that case, maybe you can enlighten me. How would one go about meeting a TS in a non-hobby setting? I would have no problem dating a girl that is in the industry. However, I know these lady are on the road alot. In this case, it makes meeting even harder! Then, where to meet if not online?

Every SP has her sweet spot when it comes to clients. Occasionally someone will surprise us with being a good fit without fitting the profile but we all know which characteristics seem to run thru all of our favorite clients. I scan initial correspondence to look for indicators when getting to know a guest before the appointment to try to ensure that the fit is right. My personal preference is for married men over the age of 40. I have had an occasional "Oh my!" with younger guests but not often enough to slide my age scale and leave it there. The beauty of this industry is that there are perfect providers for every guest. He just has to find them. It's more important that you know what kind of experience you are looking for and go into the rendezvous with an open mind and willing spirit... cat

Old Dog for his humor, his sharp wit and his constant genuine support of the community here in the Ottawa area. He is a master of the "all are welcome" attitute and he always has a willing ear held up by a strong shoulder when a girl needs one... I used to have a lot of fun going across the river for some fun when I was in my 20's. I think back then Hull had an even worse reputation than now, but it always felt like you were going over to do something bad on the wrong side of town. Nowadays, Hull is hardly the wrong side of town, but it still has a left-over memory of one. I think the lesson here is that having a bad reputation is not a bad thing, just make sure when you do have a bad reputation, make it a really bad one. Make it an event, like you're going to Sin City. :icon_wink:

This will remain a mystery to most of you but I have been recently presented with an opportunity to do something that I never in a million years would have thought might be possible to do. After careful thought I have chosen to follow through with this opportunity. I am somewhat apprehensive, but when a once in a lifetime opportunity is placed in front of me I would never ever want to decline and then forever wish that I had ventured into unknown waters. Curious Like most have said, make sure you write a little note about yourself to the lady you choose for your special nite, this way she will know a little about you, what makes you apprehensive, what you enjoy and so on. it never hurts to be open and upfront about your feelings or things you fear, it will make for a better time for yourself and the person you are with. Above all else, relax and enjoy yourself, if you take the proper approach to this hobby, it can be a lot of fun and a rewarding experience. Just be yourself....... ;-) SNK

I find that 30 minutes is too quick but an hour can be too drawn out. Plus some hour prices are too much so 45 minutes is a great option.

I've had fun reading about the quirks and trivia of other CERB members, and I'm fairly new to the community, so I thought I would write my own post. So, some funny and interesting things about me. . . 1. I learned that I have a passionate love for website design when I started making my companion website. I have several friends who actually do web development for a living, and I wouldn't let them touch a single line of my stylesheet. I have been learning as much as I can about web design ever since, and have built a few sites and even started freelancing this year. 2. I love discussing philosophy and physics (from a layman's perspective, unfortunately, as I neglected physics in school). I think any idea of humanity should take into account all of nature and should be skeptical of exceptionalism. 3. I have a dog. I talk about us as though we are a pack (a very, very small pack) and I never refer to myself as her mom, but as her alpha. I think if she understood, she'd probably find it quaint, since she has been part of a real, semi-wild pack. 4. I am TERRIBLE at selecting a favourite anything. I have to break favourites down into sub-categories with qualifiers, and on top of that a caveat that tastes change. In art I never know if my favourite thing is the one that had the most influence on me or simply the thing I enjoyed the most. I love Rococo, but it's never brought me to my knees. 5. I used to have an average fear of spiders, but so many large ones have invaded my living quarters (or crawled off trees and onto my face) over the years that I'm now pretty nonchalant about them. I usually capture and release. But if I think I've spotted the same one in my house again I often kill it (as mercifully as possible). 6. My nonchalance regarding spiders is counterbalanced by an irrational aversion to moths. I will run away from those powdery, fluttery demons. 7. I don't like the CERB emoticons. Smiley faces with lipstick and/or feet creep me out. 8. I lost my virginity in a threesome when I was 18 years old. 9. I do not own a microwave. I used to have one but it died and I never replaced it. I only miss it when I want to reheat coffee. 10. Despite being an apparent coffee snob, I am guilty of reheating coffee. When there is a microwave available I will use it, but at home I put it back in the pot and turn on the element for a few minutes. There you have it, a little about me.
