2 pointsWith the advent of 4 letter - 3 digit license plates in Ontario, there has been some conjecture on whether the powers that be would issue plates that began BBBJ. I drive around a lot. Seriously, a lot! So I've been checking passing cars to see if I can spot one. The closest I've come is seeing BBBB 259. I'll keep looking. Why, you might ask, do I devote so much time to this? I'm glad you asked. The Harper Government has decided it would be a good idea to start moving the goal posts for retirees. Now it is 65 to 67. I would suggest that if they stay in power, it will go from 67 to 70. I can't do crap about that. The Harper Government has decided to rewrite the rules and underlying principles regarding EI. Never mind that the size of the benefits has been whittled down to ridiculous levels already. When they get done, if you turn down that job at Timmy's because you have a Masters in Computer Science, **poof** go your benefits. Never mind that when you finally get a chance to interview for a position in your field, the interviewer will look at your CV, see that series of crap jobs you've been forced to take, and tell you you've been out of your field too long so all you can get now are crap jobs. (Yes, I know interviewers do that because I worked in that role and told people exactly that.) And if the Harper Government can find you a crap job half-way across the country and you turn it down because your SO has a job here, yada yada yada, tough. No money for you. I can't do crap about that. The Harper Government is changing the rules for refugees so now, instead of waiting forever for a hearing, they will get one right away. That would be a good thing except their hearing is going to be rushed and the adjudicator may or may not have a clue what they are doing (can you spell political appointment?) and when the decision is made that this bleeding, bruised, tortured person isn't really in any danger if they get shipped back to the hellhole they just spent their life savings to escape, there is no appeal. Gone, bye-bye, have fun. And that refugee can give up any thought about any kind of health services during their soon-to-be brief stay. We, as a country, are going to be as mean-spirited as possible so we can save enough money to pay for all those stupid signs scattered about the countryside telling us this and that project is being brought to us by the Harper Government. I can't do crap about that. But do you want to know what I can do? Look for BBBJ plates. If I see one, I'll let you know.

2 pointsAngela of Ottawa! This very giving, kind and awsome lady has made my upcoming visit stress free! Without her, I have no idea how I was able to get back and forth to work, and would have to dish out more expenses that would have taken a big chunk of my earnings! Thank you Angela!!

2 pointsClearly she doesn't care if other people know, if it doesn't bother her it shouldn't bother them. It's her life after all. Perhaps now she is living the life that she's always wanted to live and be the person she really wants to be.

1 pointHmmm. As usual, threads dealing with semantics here are both interesting and complex. Primarily because context and perspective are important. What is acceptable to one person for a particular scenario may not be acceptable to a different person, or to either person for a different situation, etc. Where some words are concerned, generalization is not possible. Sarah makes some important points, which I agree with and have made before. We have to stop taking words so literally and without consideration of the context. Context includes who said it, why they said it, and who is the intended receiver. Sarah describes mainly one-on-one situations where she is the receiver (honest, no pun intended). She says it's okay to use all manner of colourful labels for her, as long as she knows you, and your words are meant to have positive connotations. One-on-one and perhaps with a less extensive vocabulary, this is probably true for most people here. However, I think Cristy in her original post, is describing a somewhat different scenario - one that concerns the use of labels by the media or general public. Unfortunately, in that broader scenario there are many receivers; so there may be many different interpretations and reactions to the use of certain labels. While it is not always clear what meaning the originator intended, that is precisely what we, as receivers, must focus on - not the labels. I doubt any service provider would feel any better about an article or comment where someone described "courtesans" and "hired-companions" as the scourge or underbelly of society. Coversely, I would expect an overall positive reaction to an article advocating safety for "prostitutes" or defending a prostitute's right to earn a living. It's the message that's important, not the individual words used and on their own.

1 pointI also consider the terms 'prostitute' or 'sex trade worker' to be neutral and I generally expect the media to use neutral terms instead of slang or euphamisms. And even though I am a client/consumer in the sex trade, I never think of the term 'service provider' in a sexual context other than when I am on this site. Honestly, if a buddy of mine told me had a service provider coming over to his place, I would assume he was having a telephone line installed or something.

1 pointpersonally like the words "hook er" and "whore". I get the gist of your post and agree with some of your points, but why then were so many members offended even angered when another member used the same term, in the end it got her suspended. Does it depend on who uses it and how? Personally I don't like the more derogatory terms, such as the ones above. I know who I am and what I do, but I don't need someone being ignorant about it. Just as large sized people don't like to be defamed, nor do unattractive people, not so intelligent people or other ethnicities. There are descriptive, graphic, harsh words that are even in the dictionary but it doesn't make them polite or kind or respectful of the person or their position. It is our job to make society aware that his profession is full of respectful, educated, civil minded, kind and polite people, to set an example. To do this we have to act in a way that is respectful and accepting not only towards others but to oneanother, by using and accepting these words we lower our standards and levels of respect, jmo.

1 pointCongratulations Carrie! Simply said, you are awesome!

1 pointI like the person to do what makes them comfortable. There is something endearing about the shy guy coming in fully dressed and the confident guy coming in naked while the nervous guy wears the towel around his waist. There is no wrong scenario here! Each one has a sexy possibility! Hmmmm the possibilities.

1 pointI must agree, a male companion will probably find more success as a bi/gay companion. (Bi for couples would maybe fly) I just don't see a huge market for women seeking male companionship, especially for sexual reasons. While shows like Hung may have increased the interest in pursuing this, realistically, I don't see it being very lucrative.

1 pointIn a very cold Saturday afternoon I headed to Barbrellas. To my surprise it was very quiet. Soon after I saw a shining star walking nearby and heading towards me with a smile. It was Bridgette, the shining star'. We started hugging and kissing however I am a very private person so I invited her to the CR where I could continue the action in private. I was very cold just before walking to CR as I couldn't find a nearby place to park and had to walk a long way but about 20 minutes after, when my CR dances with Bridgette was over I felt like a ball of fire, sweating with fast heart beat. I think it is fair to say Bridgette set me on fire lol. When Bridgette's stage dance started I immediately moved next to the stage (I very rarely do that) as I wanted to see the beautiful sexy spinner body and the pale skin and the sweet smiles (she kept on smiling at me ...what a sweet young lady) from close distance. Excited enough to invite her to another round of CR dancing. Both times with absolute delight.

1 pointI think it's wise to discuss with each provider her policy on MSOG even if she's agency. Her personal policy may differ from the 'team' policy. Some are open to it some not. If you're not interested in chit-chat/massage afterwards and solely 'goal' oriented it's important to make sure the girl of your choice is open to it.. or you won't have fun!

1 pointI think the terms prostitute, or worse ones, like ho_ker, wh_re, etc etc etc allow mainstream society to marginalize and treat escorts as second, or third class citizens. Sex workers, well it is true that for the most part sex takes place in encounter, but it doesn't truly define what the ladies do. To me, Professional Companion is the term I would prefer. I have had encounters with ladies, where we have gone out for dinner, and breakfast (no, we weren't doing it on the table in the restaurant LOL) and to a bar for drinks to get to know one another. I myself go for multiple-hour encounters (2 hours +) A fair part of the time is social, not sexual To me, a Professional Companion encompasses all aspects of male/female companionship, not just sexual. A sex worker on the other hand merely provides sexual services. Just my opinion, and two cents worth RG

1 pointI rarely get a cold or flu because I'm so damn happy and I always wash or disinfect my hands when in public (Key protection) but if I do get infected I usually just ride it out and it is gone in a few days so if you can try not to take any drugs and let your natural immune system learn how to kill the virus.

1 pointYou're more than welcome! Gotta spread the word! ;) I see Mike Adams is selling his "Coco Mojo" cocoa/mushroom combo. http://store.naturalnews.com/Cocoa-Mojo-100-Organic-Cocoa-Powder_p_93.html I guess he saw how well Madre Labs' CocoCeps was selling. ;) http://www.iherb.com/Madre-Labs-CocoCeps-Instant-Organic-Dark-Cocoa-Beverage-Stay-Fresh-Re-Sealable-Pak-7-93-oz-225-g/23648 A cup of this stuff, with some low glycemic raw coconut sugar and a tiny sprinkle of stevia, gets my mood and energy up in the mornings and the effect lasts most of the day! I don't know about Mike's Mojo, but Madre Labs is of the highest quality out there.

1 pointTowel around the waist: it gives me something to grab onto and pull you toward me, plus it makes it so sexy to tear it open and find something underneath just begging to be put in my mouth ;)

1 pointi should add that asking "who is better" is considered rude. Remember the ladies read the posts here so wording you questions more poliet will get you a lot further (fyi, one of the ladies reported your post and brought this to my attention). This is a sensitive business as your not dealing with a product that you can easily compare to another product or "just a service" as its much more personal than that and unique to each person in speial ways. Always remember your talking about a real person (or persons) so please make sure that you do not offend or hurt anyones feelings. We do not rate the ladies here or discuss negatives.... Just focus on the good stuff. Snce your thinking about one lady here or the other why not ask "who should i see first"
