To return to the OP's questions... :) The ladies who have very active reco threads tend to be new to the industry, and younger. The ones who have been around a little longer (by which I mean more than a few months) tend to get recos far less often. This doesn't mean that they suddenly became bad at what they do... Bear in mind also that some SPs seem to actively solicit recos, whereas many don't, and some seem to actively discourage them. Bear in mind also that a low-volume SP will necessarily have a much lower pool of potential reco-writers. Finally, I think we guys are far less likely to write another reco for someone if we've already written one, so SPs who have a larger proportion of repeat and long-term clients are also likely to have far fewer recos. Of course, it's also possible that someone doesn't have recos because there's a good (ie negative) reason for that... but you won't find that out here, as the rules of the board dictate that the negative stuff doesn't get said. But if someone's really worth avoiding, people will say things like "can't comment publicly", or "PM me for details". That's often a bad sign. So, to conclude... you can't actually tell much from the fact that someone doesn't have a lot of recos.

I recently had the opportunity to visit with Nathalie. I would hope no one would be that inconsiderate. As that would put the sp, at least myself in the awkward position of having to ask him to leave. That is if it were obvious. We obviously need our health to do our job and being resonsible I wouldn't work until I wasn't contagious. Hobbyists should do the same. For a client to attempt to see an SP when he is sick is simply disrespectful and rude. Anyone trying this should be shown the door, but not before giving her a hefty cancellation fee for effectively wasting her time! Hey Gents and Ladies ! Just want to begin this by saying that this is not directed at anyone or meant to be anyone's point of view. These are just a few etiquette pointers to make things smoother .. Here are a few tips that may make a first encounter easier or make another visit go a bit more smoothly. When contacting a lady you shouldn't ask them to lower their prices. When a lady sets a price it is what she feels she is worth. Don't try to bargain that with her. It can make it so she doesn't want to meet you or she may take offense to the question. I know I can't speak for all but I know it bothers me a bit. Donation (a rate set by an individual lady).. I don't know about any gents, but there may be a time when you thought, "How do I go about paying her? When .. Before or after? " .. Well the answer to that is have the donation in a white envelope. Give it to the lady within a few moments of greeting and introduction. Some SP's even prefer you to put the envelope in the bathroom or on something that's in plain sight. Get things out of the way smoothly so the time together can move on without that interruption. Also after you get to know someone and they become a regular companion the donation may be left till the end because of a mutual trust or agreement made. The time spent between a Gent and a Lady, much enjoyed by both, has to end. A set time is usually discussed in advanced. When the time does come be courteous of the lady's time and save both from a tense moment. Also a lady shouldn't ask Gents to be coming over and shouldn't be contacting the gent for dates. My grandparents meant the world me. They were loving and caring, to me kinda like parents. Whenever I wasn't staying with them I would visit almost everyday. As soon as I read this title of the thread, I was looking forward to reading everyone's responses. And it has been a thoroughly entertaining read. Anyhow, a couple of quick points to start of with: I found it interesting that in a thread about religion, reaching 3 pages long, the word "faith" was used only once, and only to describe a particular religion. It seems that those not agnostic, or atheist who have replied to this thread are some form of Christians. Here to shake things up, I'm Muslim (not a particularly religious one, but a believer of god nonetheless) I think religion has gained this sort of reputation from a few using it to their benefit. Just like using national pride or race relations, religion has fallen victim to those using an identity to instill fear against a foreign threat (Whites vs Blacks, Aryan vs Jews/Jesuits/Lesbians&Gays/Jehovah's Witnesses, wide nose vs narrow nose, etc). Anyway, personally, I'm not that religious. I have faith that there is a god out there, and the practice the Muslim faith from time to time (pray, fast, etc), but I'm not very diligent on all of it. Maybe I'm wrong in this notion, but I think God's more concerned about me being polite, kind, honest more then practicing the rituals. But on this topic, all I can really say with absolute certainty is that during the darkest periods of my life, after traumatic events, I prayed, and I felt at peace. I am completely aware that this could very well be the result of strong belief, causing some sort of mental self protection mechanism working in the background of my brain that did the trick, instead of divine intervention. Nevertheless, it helped, and I don't see myself losing faith in the existence of god.

I would say that I'm spiritual but I'm not religious. Although I believe that a lot of good does come from religious communities, I think that the sects and the people that are very rigid in their thinking can also do a lot of harm, especially around sexuality. I am definitely not an expert on religion, but it seems like a lot of religious texts were written to uphold certain societal norms, and that obviously conflicts with the things that we value now, thousands of years later. Part of the reason that I don't subscribe to any particular religion is that I find it difficult to believe that an all-knowing God would be against people doing things that bring them pleasure, happiness and increase their well-being. Aside from the importance of individual happiness, we're all much better friends, family members, and partners when we're happy and that's good for any community. I have to believe that if there is some sort of higher power, that it wouldn't want me to be unhappy for the sake of upholding some standard that doesn't really make sense for the society we currently live in. So if I am a sinner, I'm happy to wear that label knowing that I'm doing what's right and what feels good for me.

I think the ladies who last longer in this business are people who are sexually comfortable with themselves and while it's a lucrative business, I'm a firm believer in the fact that if you don't like what you're doing for a living then don't do it. I don't do anything I don't want to do and yes, while --some-- do it for the cash, they are usually in and out of this business fairly quickly. I treat this like a business but at the same rate, many ladies provide good service and are not revolving door when it comes to seeing clients. As for women enjoying sex with less partners, then please explain why married men come to see us? Some wives simply no longer enjoy having sex so that puts that theory right out the window. For the record, I'm not judging married men for doing that as that's what we are here for. In fact, I believe SPs do in fact save many marriages.
