I just watched this Steve Kardynal "Call me Maybe" ChatRoulette video for the umpteenth time today... and every time I see it, it makes me smile. The faces, the glorious smiles that just erupt when they actually figure out what they are seeing... well they are contagious. So what makes you smile? Well I'm happy to say I've has an overall warm welcoming from all of you here! Although one gentlemen, has told me their opinion that I took quite offensively.. He asked if I was single, and I said yes, and he said if I wasn't would I tell my partner what I was doing? Or anyone else that I choose to be with in my personal life? I told him I wouldn't but it all depends on the situation... He immediately replied that I was being unfair and disrespectful, and that other men had a right to know what I do for safety reasons. For those who have met me, you know that the smile on my face is permanent but perhaps sometimes disarming. I can't help myself; I have a perma smile! My reaction to things that make most people REALLY smile is tears. Yup, tears of joy, of happiness, of general well being. The sounds of the birds outside my open window at the moment are eliciting a great joy which manifests itself in a few happy tears!

The thing about this business is that it isn't consistent, so if you rely on it's income solely you will have highs and lows, the only way not to is to be frugal, work often and save save save. We have to be people pleasers, entrepeneurs, receptionists, cleaning ladies, bankers, advertisers, ect, ect, it's alot and can become mentally and physically exhausting if you don't manage your time on and off well. I feel for you, good times come and go as do the bad, you'll pull through. You are lucky to have your youth, health, and your gorgeous dog. When you do deal with asses try to laugh instead of becoming frusterated or angry, make light of it and soon good will come-hugs and best wishs.

What makes me smile? Coming home after working hard all week. The dog with her crazy antics, telling me I was gone too long. The silly cats that tell me they haven't had ANY food all week, even though I can see that the food I bought them has in fact been opened and eaten. The silly goldfish that will float at the bottom of the tank pretending they can't swim because they haven't eaten in like 3 hours, that will shoot to the top of the tank when I come close to them. Watching my neighbours kids rolling each other around in the giant plastic rain barrel that is supposed to be under the deck, but they will sneak it out and run around like crazy lunitics laughing and giggling, they know they are not supposed to use it but I let them anyways. Being around friends and family having a good meal and a beer (well, more then one beer, cause after all, why stop at one?).

Did I tell you about the guy who called me and tried to whisper to me? I can't hear the best of times, but this guy kept insisting on whispering.....Well, I kept saying "speak up, can't hear you". I have to disagree, a small city/town has nothing to do with lack of privacy as long as you are discreet and make yourself blend in. I travel to lots of smaller places and have never had an issue with privacy ever.

My grade 8 teacher had the most wonderful smell of powder. That was my first memory of her, and she was a great teacher at a time of my life that things were not the greatest. I remember smelling that specific smell years later, and actually looked around to see where she was. It wasn't her, but the memory was so vivid, it instantly brought back a flood of memories of that time of my life. It's official. This one coming up is the last season. Here's a sneak peek (more of just a scene really) Looks pretty bleak. I still like it but I really miss all the dark humor this show used to have at the beginning.

So over the last month or so I've been hit with a bad depression that I really couldn't shake. Its apparently been going around real bad. Some of my happiest friends have been hit hard too. Out of the choices here one service went under cause the owner drank and gambled their money instead of paying the business bills. The last one is owned by a dirty old man that makes his girls sleep with him and I don't know bout anyone else but sleeping with the boss doesn't seem like good business edicate whether its an escort agency or burger king ugly or hot. So last night they tell me they have another driver and call me at 12:30 for a call. come 1:30 I'm still standing in my window waiting. 2:30am I get a call the the driver is outside waiting so I go out and there is no one there. several times they insist they are at mt apt building and I remind them I don't live in an apt building. I couldn't believe it I told him "I don't get it buddy not only can't tell time he can't read count or see either. On the Corner of Blah st and Blahblah street there is a Huge pit with dirt around it (just dug and put the foundation for the new house next door). Beside that Pit is a HUGE white house with a big half moon driveway and in the Middle of that driveway was me pacing back and forth in a white trench coat. yes the street only goes from whatchamacallit lane to blahblah street which is right behind McDonald's so IF he were there he woulda seen me!" This story isn't really to rant and if I put a little too much of something in there to be edited i will I have no problem with that. Things can be taken only in context of the reader. But it does defiantly remind me that working with there people, there is generally someone along the rungs that just don't care bout anyone else. Some people say that the only one you can rely on is your dog. LMAO my dog's affection can be bought to easily with cookies for her to be reliable.

Simple things that inspire a smile? Ordering a milkshake and getting both the glass and the container with the leftover amount. When my cat curls up for a nap and puts a paw over his eyes to block out the light. Being surprised by a movie/book that I wasn't expecting much from. Unexpected cake! And yeah, I was going to add boobies to the list as well, but those aren't simple --- they're magical!

Definitely there is a difference between working indy and working agency. Its too bad the choice there sucks. I hate having other drivers, that's why I insist on using my own vehicle. This thread comes up every couple of years, and yes they did have it here in Ottawa at one time. There was a place in Gatineau not far from Pigales that used to offer it, but it got shutdown at least 5-10 years back. It hasn't come back since then. I think the main problem is that it requires a really large waterproof area, and most places don't have that kind of area to dedicate to it. Most places barely have a stand-up shower, and I've not seen any with a tub, let alone a shower table. I have learnt that the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence. No matter how bad you have it, there is somebody worst off. To stop worrying about something. The majority of supposedly reputable agencies in Toronto put on the pressure and tell SP's when they are hired that they must provide BBBJ or they won't have clients. Considering the bombing in Boston, this seems trite, but the contractors were supposed to replaced my windows on Monday, so I took yesterday off waiting for them, primarily so my cat wouldn't have to stay locked up all day in the washroom. Downtown`s nice, but finding parking can be a pain, (especially if theres a concert at the K-Rock Center.) I would agree with others here that Division& 401 would be better, free parking, and not far from resturants, box stores, factory outlets, etc. Easy access off 401, so you don`t have to know the city. In early September 2012, there was a point that I actually thought that post 5000 was never going to happen. In fact, I wasn't really sure that morning would happen, at least for me. Labour Day weekend is supposed to be eventful. It's when we say goodbye to summer and get ready for the colder months ahead. Pack away the summer stuff and bring out the long sleeves. Close down the cottage. Make plans for the air conditioner and the patio furniture. My labour day weekend began with a sense of draining. I had no energy. Walking was an effort. A shower required a nap after. Drying my hair took my breath away. I knew something was wrong, but my stubbornness said, "sleep it off, it's been a tough summer and you are just run down." It was more than that. I had a major heart attack. It was weird... no sudden chest grasping pain... just a sense of draining... like superman with kryptonite. That's when CERB stepped up. I mean it. CERB saved my life. Isabella Gia and Barrhaven Woody came over and took me to the hospital. They waited with me in the waiting room and stayed there until they knew I was being cared for. But it didn't stop there. I was in hospital for a week. Woody came to visit. Isabella came to visit and then came again with home cooked food. Cat and one of her kittens came to see me daily. Bethany, Phaedrus, Luxe and Alger all came bearing cups of coffee, muffins and most importantly, love. Alger left work early to come and pick me up at the hospital to take me home. When I got there, Boomer and Mister T had made food and left it in my fridge. Angela had gone to get my prescriptions. There were messages from Annessa, Nicolette, Gabriella, Samantha, EMB, Meg, Sara, Malika and Dorinda... and a very special message from Amelia ;) I was in tears. You have no idea how much I love my CERB people. It's more than that though. My CERB people are not just relegated to a small hidden part of my life. They are central. I am actually tearing up writing this... but they are happy tears... I have had so many visitors and so many messages It's hard to mention everyone... dammit. There are so many people that have made a difference and still make a difference in my life. You all make a difference whether you think so or not. So to everyone I have mentioned above and these few more, I give my thanks, my love and my friendship. I am curious as to why you would publically disclose the name/handle of a gentleman she might have met; what if "Gaaco" met the lady in question and he didn't want it to be known for his own personal reasons? I don't know that if the tables were turned, you would appreciate the gesture. I am also confused as to why she told you his name/handle in the first place...
