This comes from a discussion I had yesterday with my SO about the federal government and the likely responses to the Bedford rulings. Various groups have proposed making it illegal for "johns" to purchase sex. An argument that keeps coming up is that the sex trade is riddled with women who are the victims of human trafficking. We know that there is a great business in smuggling cigarettes into Canada. Using the same reasoning as above, I call for the government to keep the sale of cigarettes legal but criminalize the purchase of cigarettes. Perhaps they could also establish "Joe Camel" schools to educate the apprehended purchasers about the sad facts of the smuggling trade and the very real effects it has on the people living near the smuggling routes. Disclaimer: I am not in anyway making light of situations where there is actual human trafficking. I find trafficking to be reprehensible and call for the government to investigate and eliminate trafficking using the laws presently on the books.

Here is my take on it (and since I enforce the rules here on this site this is how it goes down here) If someone steals someones photos, unique tag lines or an obvious cut and past of someones text from either an ad on cerb or someone personal website I will intervene. For FAKE PHOTOS you basically loose access to cerb without warning for a MINIMUM of 6 months so that on the hopes the person smartens up and realizes how unethical that is and starts to use REAL photos we can welcome them back. For STOLEN TEXT I issue a warning and delete the offending post if I feel it is a valid complaint against the person. If they do it again I suspend them for a minimum of 7 days... then boot them from the site if you continue to do it. I do NOT hunt out fake photos or stolen text, it is only brought to my attention (and the other moderators attention) if someone FLAGS the post using the button. So please if you see an OBVIOUS stolen text report it with a link to the original text. Same with photos, when reporting fake photos it is best to report them with a link to the REAL photo.

It's more of a newbie mistake on my part. I was ignorant and unexperienced to many of possible threats one may come across as a independent provider. I didn't really consider that I came to become independent when I was ready too. I had several years experience working at winnipeg's upscale massage parlour that wasn't full service. Despite my many ups and downs over those years, I gained what I consider to be priceless experience learning types of clients, and ways to get along and or enjoy all sorts of different men's personalities and company. Many likely pushed a boundary, and got mad at the result. Several indiv. tried to slander me with fake reviews and stories, and again I lucked out despite completely freaking out on them while waiting for mods to wake up and remove their late night posts. A few were even banned. I have never allowed myself to bullied, shamed or lied about on the other erb site. So many other others haven't been as fortunate. I feel for the providers as I honestly think many may not have deserved as much negative attention as they may receive. Everytime something negative is posted it is potentially a hit to her income, and some guys can't read a mention of a lady, even if it is positive and appears she may gained a better understanding as to what works for her and her clients, without slandering her name. I could of easily had things turn out the same way on several attempts to hurt my reputation as a provider. Most woman join this industry inexperienced and aren't as fortunate avoiding bad clients and or aware these boards to refer to. Here in winnipeg, I truly wish to see less bullying towards the providers. More respect and acceptance for individual restrictions, rates and WAY MORE DISCRETION! It isn't unheard of that we are sent copies of pm's between pooners and I got to tell you, SHARING OUR LOCATIONS AND EVEN AREA PUTS US AT CONSIDERABLE RISK. If you wouldn't want us doing it to you then don't do it to us. I lost my condo and literally everything I had worked for. I look forward to a new adventure in a new city. I know I would not be in this position except to lead me to bigger and better things. And I thank all the gentlemen I've met here and will miss many of you! Additional Comments: I would like to point out, that I am entertaining low volume from upscale hotels that frequently change all over winnipeg before my adventure. Maybe that meeting is similar. I can't remember where I read a list of people one government (possibly a municipal one) was going to 'listen' to, but I do remember reading something about high school students were going to be involved. No sex worker group listed, but high school students were. I wish i remembered if I am remembering that correctly tho or where lol
