One day, a little over a year ago, I had that gentleman that booked an appointment and mentioned I was the first lady he booked after his wife died of cancer a year ago and that it was his birthday. I was touched and asked him his taste of a cake and when he came over I had a nice small chocolate cake for him. He was extremely touched and ended up being a regular not only for this but other reasons. But that day I just felt good about doing a nice thing to someone. Barbara xxoo

I don't know. Isn't it 2016? I've never had a guy contact me and say "hey, I'm white, is it ok if I see you?" However, I do remember when I was in NB. Predominately white. So, I had someone contact me, to ask if I could see him as he was black. Of course I told him I'd love to see him. We had a great time. However, every time he called me after, he would say "hey, it's your favourite black boy, can I come over?" A little chuckle between us, as he felt lonely being the only black guy in the university course taking his mechanical engineering degree. The contrast of my pale skin and his deep colour was really nice. I miss him being out here.

I often get clients that make comments like "You are so beautiful, you could be doing anything you want, why don't you have a man taking care of you at home?' or 'You're way to good for this, how do you not have a man?'. I find it a bit comical that some men assume because I occasionally am an SP, I must be single, or literally see clients from morning til night. You always see clients talking about their wives etc but it is like it is taboo for SP's to be married or engaged or a girl friend, it is like we have to act single so we seem 'available'. A gentleman who I have seen more times than I can count(since I first started this until now), ended up creeping me(as he put it) on social media (he e-transfer me so had my email) and he texted saying 'I'm really sorry but I creeped you on *insert website* and I didn't realize you are with someone for so long. I really really like you and feel very guilty because you look so happy (I am!), love the man you have because he is very lucky and you don't have to see me anymore if you don't want too, I dont want to feel bad'. I told him it is up to him if he wants to stop seeing me, and that I of course have a personal life, as being an SP is not who I am, just something I am doing for a short while. Now that I am planning on 'retiring' by the summer time, I have no problem saying that in my personal life, I am not single and am in fact getting married to my best friend in the summer. I am very very happy. Beyond happy. Of course I still think that asking an SP about her personal life, whether she is single etc is off limits, unless of course she tell you you may, it is still dumb to assume just because a girl is an SP, MA, or dancer that she has no life and no man/woman would want to be with her :P

I'm black and race hasn't been an issue at least 99% of the time. I have met some great SPs and MAs on this site and the overall experience has been positive. I would also add that a number of people that I have met have been more genuine,kind and down to earth than my work colleagues. The only time that race was an issue was when I mentioned that I was black in advance after seeing a thread on Lyla and the woman didn't reply. I can only speak of my experiences (which have been good), but I can't speak on behalf of those who have had difficulties in the past(both clients and SPs). This is a sensitive topic for many and trying to find hard and fast rules that apply is difficult. My approach is not to contact anyone who has explicitly made their preferences clear; treat the woman with respect and according to any guidelines that she made beforehand; and, if you are turned down, stay confident that there are many ladies with outstanding reviews that would love to spend time with you.

A little different but I'm a brown guy :) I always mention it when calling, even if the ad doesn't say 'no east indian'. It just avoids any awkwardness and saves everyone time and effort.

I agree. I don't like negative talk. i truly love the guys on this board. They are a breath of fresh air - especially when compared to some of the other sites. Some feel it's ok to bitch here. I don't really get it. This site is meant to be a positive site, and it goes both ways. I understand when someone needs to bring up something obvious that needs to be mentioned, but reading thread after thread about negative stuff is a real turn off. The guys wouldn't be able to get away with it, so not sure why some statements are allowed here. Even if not mentioning names, if the guy reads it, he knows it's about him. I'd prefer those discussions be kept private "or don't say anything at all". A toast to the great guys of Lyla, for their contributions, support and adoration. Xo

For my birthday one year I booked my regular at the time. She knew when my birthday was, and asked if that was why I was booking a month in advance. I confirmed with that was the case and wanted to send a couple of hours with her on my birthday as I wasn't going to be heading home to the UK at that time to celebrate and would be alone. A couple of days before my appointment she texted and said to get dressed for my visit. I figure alright, this isn't something out of the ordinary, but was curious as to why this may be. My birthday comes along, get all dressed up...shirt, tie, etc.. When I arrive she opens the door dressed in a magnificent evening gown and high heels. I look over at the dinning room table and she has a candle light dinner set and ready to go! A couple of expensive bottles of wine and a birthday cake. It was a fantastic evening, and one I will never forget. I had been all depressed about not seeing my family back home that day and it turned out to be one the nicest things anyone has ever done for me. I still smile when I think about it. :)

I will reemphisize that a big goal of the social group is to protect providers at massage locations. Loose lips on here has driven providers away. I like to see some empathy to keeping the info low key on this more public part of the site. I still see posting almost full names of establishments and part addresses. For massage section the providers are not in a position to protect them selves and their identity the way escorts can. This puts them at significant risk to public attention that is not wanted if we share their information too freely. To many newbies come on here and want all the information RFN. Sorry. You have to learn to read between the lines connect the dots and be patient. like learning to be a Jedi If you get it handed to you on a platter on here everyone else can see It too. And if we let everyone who asks into the more private group right away well then the information is just as public We might as well walk out of the establishment and walk up and down the closest residential street knock on every door and tell the inhabitants about the massage we got from Jane Doe down the street was. And especially how good the release at the end is. Not the kind of attention our providers wanted. So be patient. Contribute where you can.

I think certain sites do not allow SP's to post ads that feature this type discrimination. Or at least, I know a few sites used to not allow such ads. So there may be SP's who won't see black clients, but they just don't mention it in their ads because they're not allowed to. There are SP's who discriminate on factors other than race. I would say age is usually the second most common (usually they prefer older men 30+ or 40+). What I usually do is when I contact an SP is I ask her the questions I want to ask, then I ask her "Is there anything you want to know about me?" This leaves the door open for her to do any screening she wants to do rather than having me guess what I think might be a dealbreaker for her.

It's something to ask or mention, but if you are unable to find anything in their ads or website (if they have one) then the chances are they don't have that restriction. If she does not mention anything about not seeing a certain race or age etc, then it should not be an issure, but it is always safe to ask just in case! As long as you are respectful, have very good hygiene and are a kind gentleman(you can be a gentleman at any age!) then the lady will treat you very kind, I assure you! Well I would assume she is thanking them because she appreciated or agreed with the post.... A quick review of the stats on her profile show that in the last 8 months she thanked 325 posts of which 40 were ones made by me so wait maybe she is thanking them because of their amazing blend of intellect... insight... sexiness and the compelling attractiveness of the poster (boy would she be disappointed if she met me). I would have to agree that age was not the 'real' issue.. Nicolette is right (as usual).. usually time wasters whether nervous guys who will eventually book or are just lonely guys who will never book are in my opinion not worth the investment or waste of your own precious time... because many other clients are ready to book and will pay for your time to 'get to know you'. I have for some time now offered cam sessions for just that reason... and some book me for cam several times and still admit they'll never get up the nerve to book in person.. so they will still pay for me time but keep a safe comfortable distance to communicate with me and enjoy a 'session'. This works for me.. put your money where your mouth is.. it's a much smaller donation and some book right after one cam (or phone if they're even too shy for that) and some don't.. but either way I don't feel my time or energy is taken advantage of.. I get that you're more hurt by the feeling of connection you felt and being lied to.. but that's a part of life.. not just from clients.. and it sucks.. don't waste time on energy suckers.. just shake the dust off your feet and move on with integrity knowing you didn't lie :)

At one point, it's no secret, it was very difficult for me, and I tend to indulge in food (fruits, usually).
