  1. This is only a rumour but I don't think the motel owner is allowed to have the Adult Entertainment license. He had issues that make him an ineligible holder, which is why he leased it out to the folks who ran Tease.
  2. Sorry to burst anyone's bubble but I would not get your hopes up. The motel owner is the owner of the whole property. He used to run the club back in the days of Cabaret Canada, Palace of Screams etc. And he ran it into the ground. The kind of place they would charge you a cover to sit and not warn you they had no dancers that day. Putting $200K into that place wouldn't make a dint in the issues with that building. They would be better in tearing the building down. The septic system is for the whole hotel and it is why the place smells like shit a lot of the time, or floods. The electrical and heating are a problem. How the city inspectors let him run the place is beyond me. I can say this because I worked there from when the Tease owner took it over until about a year later. When we took it over the fridges were being held closed by pieces of cardboard. The floor boards were rotten, the electric was screwy and the list goes on. He didn't even plough the parking in the winter although that was his responsibility. I cannot see this guy doing anything substantial to fix the place up. It may reopen but don't expect the Taj Mahal.
  3. Whoa! Unless they put a fake location in the google map, they are located smack in the middle of the military Married Quarters area on the Uplands site.
  4. How did we get sucked back into the black hole of the BBBJ discussion? Some providers are generally fine with it, some are vehemently opposed. No amount of argument is going to change people's minds. If you want BBBJ then find a provider who offers it. If you want a CBJ then find someone who offers it. As for BBFS from an SP, not recommended, not encouraged, not tolerated.
  5. Yeah... I didn't realize she was the manager. I was told by Riley that she walks into the Champagne room all the time. So yeah that could be an issue. I am also not sure if she would crack down on the ladies going off-site for a visit to the spa around the corner?
  6. If they are "cleaning up" then they are cutting their own throats. But it just may be some over-zealous staff who are causing problems by intruding on the champagne rooms.
  7. If you are in that area, then CMJ and AT are both really close. I know there are some hidden gems there.
  8. The big question should be to yourself; how do you feel being in a relationship with a sex worker? Since you posted this thread here I would assume you know a bit about the industry so you should know the answer to that question. If you truly don't have an issue with her line of work then good for you, talk with her, and re-assure her that you understood why she didn't tell you at first but that her possible fears were unfounded. However, if you do have an issue with being in a relationship with a sex worker that is a different story. Judging from how you phrased the question (cheating) I suspect you do have an issue. If that is the case then do yourself and her a favour and cut your losses and walk away from the relationship. At a minimum you are going to continually be suspicious and jealous and if you try to change her or challenge her she is going to be resentful. It will do nothing but cause you grief. You will become paranoid and she will be forced to lie to you more. I can't see a happy outcome.
  9. There has been a place there for a long time. Under another name it was on the Do Not Review list. Probably one of the reasons you see no reviews. I see it all the time when I am in Vanier and visit the Hobby shop right across the street.
  10. The place is a dump, the staff are frequently rude. In general the dancers are no better or no worse than any other SC in town, in fact many of the girls dance in several places aside from Barbs. As mentioned before they video what goes on in their substandard Champagne rooms. A complete violation of trust with paying customers and their privacy. We all get it, you like the place. You seem to have an almost unhealthy obsession with the place. But you also seem to be completely oblivious to how the industry works. Panties remaining on during a stage show is nothing new. When the crowd is small, or business is not great that day, or any other number of reasons a dancer may not drop her panties. (and sometimes I have seen them keep their top on rather than get nude.) This has been happening for years and is nothing new. Remember these ladies don't get paid to do stage shows. It, and a DJ fee, is the price they pay to be able to work in the back room. If they don't work the stage show, then they may get less dances in the back and therefore earn less money. They know that, and you coming on here and ranting about it and making an issue of a non-issue is not going to change anything. But face the reality, the whole SC industry is changing. Just ask any of the dancers. Places like Barbs are going to disappear and there is nothing you can do about it. Barbs in particular is going to disappear because of its real estate value. No amount of pseudo-scientific polls or shill posts are going to change it. I don't like the place, and only go in because of its location when I want to kill a little time. I have told the dancers who have approached me that I won't go in the back in that bar because of the reasons I have given. They understand, but it still won't change anything. The only reason the place is still in business is the proximity to several business hotels. You are pissing into the wind buddy, I hope you enjoy the warm shower.
  11. I know for a fact that some clubs do restrict girls based on body type and size. A little too big and you can't work there.
  12. Security cameras at Door and cash are expected and almost mandatory. That is a matter of safety for the club and the patrons. The champagne rooms are a different story.
  13. You are out of your mind if you continue to go to an establishment that allows this practice. Security cameras are one thing, but to monitor them and show the film to others is quite another. It is a huge violation of privacy and trust for your customers. It is definitely illegal. I guess they figure nobody will have the balls to challenge them legally about this. They need to post warning signs at a minimum, and then the videos should only be used to monitor for security reasons. I rarely go there as it is, but I will never set foot in that place again, and I would encourage others to do the same.
  14. Depending where you are, Perla (affiliated with Pure) and the other members of that group are good. Haven't been to Muse yet but I do know one MA who works there that used to work in Ottawa and is really good. (but on vacation right now)
  15. So many misconceptions, so much fake news. :icon_razz: A few years back some city tried to outlaw strip clubs. It was challenged in court and the ruling was that they could not outlaw an entire type of business that was operating legally. They said a city had to allow at least one of that type of business. However they also said a city could reasonably "regulate" the business. They also "grandfathered" existing clubs by saying the city couldn't close them down but didn't have to issue new licenses. In Ottawa before amalgamation there were clubs in Kanata (Jasons) Nepean (Silver Dollar) etc etc. They got issued licenses and were allowed to stay where they were. However there were all sorts of regulations put in place that make it almost impossible to find a suitable spot. The license can move, with certain restrictions, but finding a place to move to is almost impossible. That is why someone still has a license on the building that Jason's used to occupy (according to the City's website) The restrictions on where they can go include things like proximity to residential areas, schools, places of worship etc. Maybe an industrial park would work but even then, if someone had a storefront church or mosque in the area they would be disallowed. As for Tease, that license always existed, it was Cabaret Canada, Palace of Screams (sic) etc. The name and owner changed that was it.
  16. The poll unfortunately will not give you the right answer as you are really only asking the people who like the site and use it right now. I know a lot of people who used to participate here who have stopped coming here for a bunch of reasons. Most of those reasons are related to the "no-review" policy and the atmosphere it encourages. I don't think that policy makes it any more a nicer or welcoming place then the review sites. Just different. I have seen providers, clients etc ganged up on by others because they offer a different less popular viewpoint on issues. I have witnessed a lot of "group think" here and that is just as unhealthy an atmosphere as a free for all. There has to be a happy medium. I am not sure if you will find it.
  17. I often get the message that the administrator has blocked my IP. I emailed them and got no response, but it seems to correct itself after a few days.
  18. Rule #1 of the internet folks. Don't feed the trolls.
  19. Or just go to a club, and discretely ask one of the ladies. There are many who will indulge but don't want to advertise, or want to keep it very discrete.
  20. I saw Abby at the party last week and decided she was someone I would probably like to see. I confirmed that tonight. I like when I am right. ;) Every thing said about this young lady is true. A sexy GND with a playful attitude. She is fun, and very sensual. I had an amazing time, and can't recommend her enough. I am definitely going to have to spend more time with her.
  21. Goddess HRC (Mystique) and Luxie Mulvari are two well regarded ladies on here who work as dancers and escorts.
  22. Yup it was the Albion hotel. I recall it was open when I first moved to Ottawa in the early 80's. Not sure if they had dancers then. The building is still there and is part of the Novotel complex I believe.
  23. Be very careful about what you say. You haven't specified what the Medical issue is, nor how you think you got something from "too much contact" during a body slide and how you know exactly who you got it from. I am not saying it is not possible, but it is a bit of a stretch in my mind. You haven't even specified that it is an STI. First step is contact the provider and lay it out. See what the provider says. Inform the spa if she is not indy to make sure they take precautions. She should get tested even if she thinks she is not the one who can pass on the medical issue. You have just put a chill through the whole community by posting this publicly, before trying to resolve the issue privately.
  24. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. Yes it was too ladies who I knew very well, who I thought would get along. It was great, and we repeated several times.
  25. The good news is that it seems the CBC is going to broadcast the last concert in Kingston. Get a good HD tv with a wicked sound system and it will almost be as good as being there. You can kick back in the comfort of your home, drink your own beer instead of the overpriced arena swill, and actually probably get a better view than if you were at the show. It's kind of like getting oral by correspondance, but there has to be a bright side. ;)
