I very much agree that having to hide your belongings is a big problem. I always make sure I'm with my client for mutual reassurance. I now always ask my visitor if he has everything and to check again if in doubt. I had a guest once forget a personal item and arranging a time for him to come back and collect it was a bit stressful, not to mention indiscreet if a neighbor were to see, or if he knocked at the wrong time. It's equally important to remember to check your pockets, wrists, feet for both socks on, hat on head, scarf, etc. Winter is the worst season for forgetting these things. :) It's no longer a surprise to what has been asked to come back for.

MP establishments only post the door fee. The rest is to be discussed with your chosen MA. The attendant makes her wage from the choices, after the required door fee. There are places like CMJ for example, that have an all inclusive rate if you don't want to discuss the options by messaging back and forth. This is standard advertising.

I'm a fan of Yellow Tail Bubbles and Jackson Triggs Sparking Sauvignon Blanc. Both are Ontario wines. They're reasonably priced at 14.95 a bottle. I love the light bubbles this time of year, and a perfect companion to a bubble bath. Mmmm...bubbles. :)

My biggest one lately are people that hold up lines at convenience stores with their Lotto 649 and scratch cards addiction. One held up the line for over 10 minutes the other day. The lotto terminal jingle is completely irritating. Especially when they don't take their winnings and decide to play more with 10 people behind them! The world revolves around you only? Oh and the building I moved lived in had a voice in the elevator that told you in english and french you were on your floor and thanked you.

I'm wondering about these points too? I have over 16,000 points but yet on a day of giving out ten of them or so to others, I'm not allowed to give anymore for 24 hours? Shouldn't giving points reflect your point bank account? I could understand if I had under 1000?

I'm not technically savvy enough yet to break down quotes into sentences so will answer what I can personally in my summary to BownchickaBown. :) I do agree that there has been an onslaught of ladies which I assume are new to the business advertising GFE. In this past year I have had many inquiries from new clients that don't know what to expect and have asked for services beyond a sensual massage. I clear this up immediately. I believe I am a GF experience. I've been in this business for 3 years now as an independent that is unique and caring. Many of my clients date back this far with me and there's a closeness that fulfills us both. As far as what the other MA's I work with are doing does not apply to me as I don't work for a spa and only know a few other independents. I don't pay attention to what they are doing as it not my concern. As far as terms go and to define myself, I'm a masseuse, conversationalist, discreet confidant and companion. Most of my sessions are longer in length so I can get to know my guest and be able to offer something on an emotional basis rather than a slam bam, thank you, get out now your time is over, hj. :) I communicate with my clients even when not booking a session and always look forward to their company as much as they do mine. That in my opinion of GFE and unless you know how I conduct myself, it's difficult to summarize what I'm putting forward or the other ladies that have made good points in this thread. Many times I enjoy a glass of wine, with strawberries and cheese for a refined encounter. With other guests I have eaten pizza out of the box and drink beer from the bottle in my pajama's while laughing about life's silliness. If that's not a GF experience, I rest my case. PistolPete added a good comment to ask first so you know what to expect. <ran out of rep points>. I know I do things that way from the other side. We are all unique and undefined. :)

On further thought as all definitions become grey when over analyzed in my tired brain right now. Definitions have always been misunderstood in every industry. How can we define spending time with an MA or SP that truly cares for their guests? If we start to speculate about services offered, we very much take on a menu oriented mentality and have lost the purpose of an SP's passion. GFE, PSE, MA,MP.... as long as the provider is clear and upfront in what services she does offer, the time spent together is of companionship between two consenting adults that have taken the time to understand what takes place. I do agree this is confusing to someone new perhaps in the advertising area, but a little homework and getting to know each other a little and the expectations, can clear up much of the confusion. I take my time to answer all questions and like to have a mutual understanding before we even meet, to be clear and not have any misunderstandings in person.

I do agree Fortunateone. Body slides and eroticism are part of a sensual massage. The true art of erotic massage has been lost within these grey zones and should be made clear.

If I may add further to the term "GFE" in advertising. I'm of the opinion as well that the term has been saturated. However, to mislead a client to think otherwise is wrong. I don't think the massage area was separated from the SP area because of these advertisers claiming to be a GFE and with intentions to deceive. To put that thought out there is unfair to the providers that are honest and would not like being put in the same basket., I'm under the impression that with the commercial spa's and now paid advertising, it made it more simplified to separate the two areas. I do not personally advertise a GFE massage, but the term is fair in regards to the provider being enthusiastic, caring and sensual. I think of the term in that way and as non mechanical. To define anything always has a grey area whether within an MA or SP encounter.

Thanks to everyone for the advice and suggestions. I have decided to stay independent, and offer sessions from my in call of an hour and over. The only changes I will have to make are the shorter ones to keep my numbers low. This board is great for the support everyone shows towards each other and has helped me come to a decision. Thanks Jabba. I'm getting the same feedback from a few from friends so far I have seen as an independent. So far the feedback is "I will see you when you're ready at your new location." I have saved to take this time off but do miss working. It's too bad as my sessions will not change and I do not have a "next" attitude. I can't stand revolving doors and am not a robot. I like to take my time and pamper my guests. My location does not change this.

Hello Ladies and Gents, I've just relocated from my popular west end location to a more private place that requires a reduction in my daily volume. I've always been a low volume provider, but tightening it up even more so now. I will be off for the next few weeks as I prepare my new home for guests and will most likely be renting a space for the next few months. It looks like I will no longer be an Independent for the time being, but do reassure you that my attention to detail and quality will not be changing, no matter where I operate from. Now my question is, how do you feel about visiting a commercial space versus independent? This is completely new to me again since I became independent three years ago after I established myself at a commercial location. I'm now looking at going back to where I started. That's all I have for now as I figure out my next journey and seeking opinions? Many thanks to those that have enjoyed my former location with me. Daty should never be expected in a sensual massage experience. A GFE massage should be interpreted as a non mechanical encounter within a sensual setting. I suppose it may vary from one masseuse to another,but should not be expected as it ventures into the grey area between an MA and Sp. It's up to the lady and should remain private between two consenting adults.

I would like to add and define that a GFE massage is enthusiastic and non mechanical. It's about the tone of the session. It is not rushed and usually a slow sensual ride to a seamless and natural feeling ending. You feel cared about and pampered. These kind of encounters can lead to a great connection as well. ;)

The TV should have an HDMI connection? I use my flat screen TV as a monitor connected with an HDMI cable. That's with a laptop so not sure about a notebook?
