I don't use chat. When I did use chat, it seemed everyone wanted private chat so they could get sexting. Quickly got bored with that, so now don't use it. It's too bad, as it could be a great thing.

My feeling is they weed themselves out. Guys that do not follow basic instructions prior to meeting are not the ones I want to meet. So, I either don't reply, or if I do, it's short and to the point. I stopped including my phone number long ago on certain sites. In order for them to find my number, they have do do a bit of research, and my theory, if the do find my number, it's because they've read my website or profile. Yes, I probably miss some opportunities, but it makes my life easier and so much more enjoyable.

There is only a short window of time you can delete a thread. If no one has replied to your thread, go to edit, go advanced, then you will see the delete thread option.

The issue that's happening with Winnipeg in particular, is that spas are getting shut down because of loose lips. If the intention is to share positive information privately, a great idea. I still don't understand why you guys don't start your own social group, closed to newbies and outsiders. You can share info privately there.

I actually went to Halifax to work once. It was a personal vacation, and if I could see a gent or two, perfect, however, if I didn't, no big deal. I was travelling with my dog, so limited on hotels. I found one in Dartmouth, and made a reservation. However, once I got there, I was like, no way, I will not stay there. I drove around, and found a beautiful hotel just 5 minutes away from the one I was going to stay at. 100% difference in the two hotels. Spent the weekend there, had a blast, and enjoyed myself. However, some of the guys that called me were like, No, I won't travel to Dartmouth. No big deal to me, as I was having a great time. For those that did come to see me, they were surprised at the hotel and that it was nice. It was a chain, so the standards are the same for each location. So, yes, Dartmouth seems to have a bad reputation. I'm not from NS, so don't know all the ins and outs. However, my one experience staying at a hotel there, is yes, there is a difference that is like night and day within the same block. Funny, the nice hotel, was only $20 more per night then the dive I originally booked. Good luck beautiful!
