Anytime someone has put out their hand to shake mine, I always go in for the hug and a big kiss. Sorry, but in this industry, a handshake just doesn't work. I find that those that put their hand out, just don't know what is allowed and what isn't. So, I let them know that we are going to get intimate real quick, and it sets the tone for the encounter. Ottawa is no different then any other place. Just might be a bit more nervous and reserved. This is your opportunity to shine.
