I hadn't decided who I was planning to see, but there was the thrill of all of the options. THEN, I hit horrible traffic. Started to loose interest as 5 minutes turned into an hour. My play time window was closing fast. Then the engine light comes on and the little fucker was red!!! The universe was telling me that today was not my day to play. Fresh start 17467 Report post Posted June 9, 2013 It's been one of those days that seem like it will never end. To start its Sunday and I had to work, I normal don't. On my way to work on the highway a chipmunk decide to play chicken. Stupid me decide to break and swerve out of the way with kill myself, luckily no other vehicles where near. All that and the chipmunk decide to back track and unfortunately it was too late for the poor guy. I ran him over despite my attempt to avoid him. Now I have a migraine from too much heat and sun from working all day in the sun. It's been a while I haven't worked outside. You don't realize how lucky you are to have ac until you lose it. My cat insists on sleeping outdoors now and he usually does on the patio chairs. Why that happened? No idea...Either he's pissed at me for some reason or it's from another animal. They had a fight and one thing leads to another and your cushions were trashed :( If you have to replace them there are too many squirrels in Manitoba here. Dog chews up my phone charger.. Dogs bark at every other dog that walks by.. Garbage full of puppy shit getting torn up.. I was taking out the garbage and the sucker was vicious, not sure if it had rabbies but the wild creature ran at me and as I took off to my back door like a bat out of hell. It's getting warm and these legs need to be just right and I wasn't chancing getting bit or rabbies. They are getting bolder every year. I did call animal control but they couldn't find the little beast with those tiny little human hands. Them animals freak me out!! He was no longer able to stay in a residence for retired folks and we just placed him in a nursing home 1 week ago. Alas his heart gave up on him and now he is gone, I will miss him very much, he was my hero, my tutor, my father. I have never known anyone has ambitious, determined, encouraging, generous, self assured, unique, brave, charming, wise, talented, perfect, encouraging, dynamic, self made man, a pioneer. My dad was also very handsome, lovable man, he donated to the society, help many great causes and never asked for anything back. This weekend for fathers day I will miss him greatly. roamingguy 300291 Report post Posted June 14, 2013 Just got the news I've been expecting. Dad passed away last night after battling cancer. Very mixed feelings. Grieving for the loss of my father. But glad he is no longer suffering. And somewhat of a relief too, this call has been expected since December. I'm not a person who needs a phone with me all the time but 24-7 I've had it since December. They are cremating him, and instead of a funeral, next month it will be a Celebration Of His Life.
