You know you're old when you actually look forward to having a nap, in fact you'd rather nap than have sex.

If you can remember UNLEADED as a gasoline option for those newfangled foreign vehicles, then you are old.

Dammit, if you use terms like "newfangled", you are old.

When you've been around long enough to see all your Rock Gods now become bewildered by tv remotes...

...coddle cute little furry creatures they might've once been accused of decapitating and eating live on stage...

...in court NOT answering to charges, but suing and testifying before a Senate Judiciary Committee?...

...become golf enthusiasts...

...be featured in magazines as "Business Investors" ??

When new songs are actually really Old.

One of my all time favourite groups was Chicago, I even remember them as Chicago Transit Authority...saw them a few times at the CNE.....probably with Old Dog somewhere in the stands near me !

A few years back, flying somewhere over the atlantic, my young co-pilot was telling me he was getting married.......eventually telling me that his first song was 'you're the Inspiration' by my favourite group.....Chicago.

I told him, it was a nice song, but I did not particularly like Chicago's new songs........preferring the jazzy feel of their first few 'albums'

A perplexed look came over his face.....and he politely told me the song was first recorded in 1984.......25+ years ago..............

Well of course I said........... reality was, I had forgotten it was that long ago......lol.......

If you know what this is, you are old:

I always wondered why they just didn't make 45s with a hole in the middle to fit the turntable?

You're old if you had these (I did) in your record collection:

If we're to really break out the geek card, it's actually "President Hieronymous Fox" played by Gary Coleman.
